Gods and Goddesses exist, sitting in the heavens high up in the clouds watching over Mortals. However, just simply sitting on your throne in the heavens and watching things from afar isn't something all gods find riveting. A simple visit to Earth can do much to refresh a God. Perhaps you're a God or Goddess venturing down into the mortal world or maybe you're a mortal that is getting the chance to encounter a God. All things are possible here.

ANIMAL PEOPLE SOCIETY
an inexcusable smut meme
In a world not unlike our own (or in the past, or the future, or with magic), people...aren't just people. Somehow the species have been put in a blender - human civilization, certain animal traits and urges - and now, we're in for some fun. But at least society's managed this walk on the wild side pretty well so far. Admittedly, there's some tension between carnivore types and their herbivore fellow citizens (whether a lamb can be safe around a wolf with active meat-eating instincts is up for debate), though no place is perfect, right? There's harmony for the most part since everyone decided to shirk their more primitive instincts to live decently. Usually.
Except when matters of mating come onto the scene, of course.
Need I say more? Mostly, this serves as a shameless excuse to throw concepts like Beastars in with well-loved tropes like animal ears/tails, a/b/o, pet people, heat and rut, werewolfery, etc. And if I have to explain why I want to see characters like Geralt with wolf ears or Thor with a golden retriever tail, I won't apologize when I say it speaks for itself.

Bakerstreet is the perfect microcosm for experimentation. This is why an alien race of scientists has set up shop here before taking on the rest of the worlds. What are they doing? It's hard to say whether they're trying to create to perfect, suggestible being or compliant cattle, but one thing's for certain: they're breeding people. Through drugs and serums, (mostly) females will be the mares and (mostly) males the studs of this new race, producing offspring and other much-needed resources such as milk and semen.
