[Dancing isn't really his thing and he's not about to take part in an activity as unsanitary as bobbing for apples. So he just kind of gravitates to the more laid back rooms, idly watching the old-timey ghost and skeleton cartoons. He's not sure about socializing much until he just happens to bump into someone he knows.]

[He's not going to question why they're at this party. Or why he's in a costume he didn't pick out. Or at least he doesn't remember picking it out... He's not even sure what he's supposed to be dressed as. Some kind of hipster steampunk abomination? He's sporting tall boots, a weird cane, tight stripy pants, and a top hat with goggles.]

[Green and yellow only in this barrel! Bobbing for apples. She's never done it since they didn't have that particular tradition, back home, but she was always up for a fun challenge! Although she had to make sure her hair didn't get in the way, so as she was carefully wrapping her long long, long, long hair out of the way, she glanced around and motioned cheerfully to anyone who happened to be passing by and looking curious. ]
Oh, did you want to bob for apples too? It looks like a lot of fun, do you want to join me?
Buffet and bar!
[ While she was no candy connoisseur like her friend Van was, she was pretty fond of various types of candies herself. She had even brought a few from home as a donation to what was already present - even though there was more than enough for everyone to go around given the layout. Party snacks, candy, desserts, but it's the chocolate fountain that Agnes was currently fascinated with. ]
... I feel like brushing my teeth even three times after having some of these snacks won't even come close to being enough. [ This sure is a wide selection of food! Problem is, none of its really that healthy, huh. Lots of candy, chocolate, and sweet drinks of all kinds. Good for a quick snack or a simple dessert but not so much for a filling meal. Thoma frowns as he looks at all the offerings on display and then looks at the person next to him. ]

Finding himself in a new and strange location isn't too unusual for the Medicine Seller, but that accompanied by his medicine box suddenly going missing and being forced into an entirely different outfit is. At the very least, he's still got his sword.
The Medicine Seller's sure his outfit's intended to be a nun's habit, but it's far too revealing for his liking. The platforms are about as tall as his geta, so it's not a total loss.
But he's still staggering, skin feeling like it's buzzing. He can even feel something as small as the fabric of his costume brushing over him, sending his nerves aflame. Someone offered him a juicy looking red apple and too far from where he could spot the buffet table, he accepted. Looking back, seems it was a bad idea. ]

As for her costume, Jess will be wearing a belt with a tail on it that could be a floofy black wolf or fox tail, and a headband with ears that could also be either. That's as festive as she's getting.]

if it wasn't for steph's presence, he'd have gone awol a while ago. he didn't even wear a costume to this thing; the one he has now is just a note sam scribbled on a piece of copier paper and pinned to his shirt, because it's "required". he allowed it because it was at least a little funny.
at least there are asgardians in attendance, and thus real booze. he's sipping on a red solo cup full of it, propping up a corner, and feeling marginally less inclined to run obsessive threat assessments on every individual that gets within three meters when he spots steph making her way over, fruit in hand. she must've been peer pressured or bribed into the apple-bobbing drinking game going on over where most of the asgardians are congregating. he points. )

J.D. can be found easily-- first at the selfie corner, just to see what's there. Is it possible to sardonically take a picture? She seems to be trying to manage it, at least for the first couple. Then the plastic fangs stop feeling so plastic, and she gets curious.
It's not long before that translates as a desire to bite something, which is when you'll find her bobbing for apples. What, it seems like bad form to grab a random human as a cocktail right after getting to the party. Doesn't matter what color she's getting, those fangs are piercing deep -- it's going to be a potent effect.
And at some point you'll find her skulking around the cozy rooms. Maybe the vampire instincts wanted to seek out some dramatic candlelight and theatrical music, maybe she's just bored, maybe the bloodlust's getting strong enough that she needed a minute away from all the walking bloodbags. Or who knows, maybe she's ducked out with someone else.
