The character responding is there and the only one who can release them—but they also have the opportunity to do whatever they want with the character unable to unbind themselves...

Jalter grumbled a bit as she wandered back into the dimly lit store basement. This whole situation had gotten so far out of hand she wasn't even sure what the plan was anymore. All she knew was that everyone was out dealing with some explosion or monster or some other shit and here she was on guard duty.

Her near perpetually angry gaze fell on their poor captive as she shifted the fast food bag she was carrying from one arm to the other, trying to get a better handle on the drink cup. If she fumbled it she couldn't promise she wouldn't burn this building down in her frustration, and she really didn't want to have to deal with the drama that would follow.

"Alright, lunchtime. But don't go expecting anything fancy, it's just King Burger."

If Konoka weren't currently so confused on why she was tied down to a chair, she might not have even registered Jalter's permanent scowl, let alone be scared of it. Unfortunately, with all the tape (was it tape?) pinning her arms down, tying her torso to the back, and stocking clad legs to the legs of the chair, she felt all too helpless before her scary-looking guard. Keeping her cool was taking so much energy, so the doe-eyed fear that Jalter was getting could actually look much worse.

The whimpers too, were about as stifled as they were going to get. Only the occasional sniffle escaped her... not that much could with her gag. She's still not sure what this group wants with her, but she'll figure it out somehow.

"Mmmmnh." Well, she kinda can't eat being gagged, but Jalter would figure that out soon, right?

(( Been clinging to this one because I had the mental image of Konoka being magic-mind controlled to be clinging to the chair when she wasn't actually bound at all, just *convinced* there was rope...

But beyond that I really didn't know where to take this one. Sorry. ))
