Welcome to My World!

It's a whole new world!  And how lucky, you've got a friend(?) who has the responsibility of helping you live through it.  Are you a Super Saiyan getting used to the idea of demons in feudal Japan?  Or maybe you're an angel who's making friends with a pretty sweet alien.  Maybe you just come from an alternate version of earth and need a local to help you overcome culture shock.  Thank goodness you're not alone!

Here's how it works:
1. Leave a post. You will be the guide to any new arrivals to your world!
2. Comment to posts. You are stuck in the world belonging to the person you've tagged. (i.e., if you tag Naruto, you'll be in his world with him as your guide)
3. SHENANIGANS.  Thread out any scenario! Maybe various scenarios!  Write an epilogue when you're done or something. Use this meme to launch a million AUs for the musebox.  DO WHATEVER YOU LIKE.

[Well this girl is easy to get along with. Somehow, her demeanor reminds her a bit of Vanille...] Alright then.


...What's a tee?

[Blink blink.]

Tea. You know! Tea! That you drink!

[saboteuring]

Mm, nope. Can't say I've ever had it.

[buntails]

[That's seriously close to unbelievable.]

Come on! They have a jasmine tea I bet you'll really like!

[saboteuring]

If you say so. Lead the way, kid.

[buntails]

It's just a couple blocks over. I can practically taste their crepes!

[This would be Usagi moving much much faster than she'd ever get home with a bad test grade.]

[...Fang's not really sure what a 'crape' is either, but she imagines Usagi will introduce her, if it's as bad as her not knowing what 'tee' is.

The l'Cie is quite used to hurrying, so Usagi's pace doesn't bother her - she keeps up easily.]

[buntails]

[Usagi chatters on as they go, enthusing about this food or that.]

I wish we could try them all at once! [She laughs a bit awkwardly, because that's.. excessive, she knows.]

[saboteuring]

Are there a lot? [It's been a Very Long time since she's been to a cafe. The ones in Oerba were more like really large potlucks - everyone brought something, and everyone partook. Some of the bigger cities had cafes, and she remembers seeing the same in Cocoon - not that she had to stop in and eat.]

[buntails]

A whole menu of goodies! You haven't tasted a sundae til you've tried their chocolate thunders!

[saboteuring]

Chocolate thunder, eh? Sounds a little dangerous. I don't know if I want my food thunderin' at me.

[buntails]

It's just a type of sundae. [There's that everyone-knows-this awkward smile again.]

[saboteuring]

I'll take your word for it, kid.

[Fang casually laces her hands behind her head, pointedly peering at a passerby that gives her (and the weapon behind her) a strange look.]

Don't know what a sundae is either. Looks like I've got a lot to learn. Here's hoping this doesn't turn into a nightmare.

[buntails]

Ice cream, chocolate syrup, toppings... [She's getting the very, very odd impression this is still not going to ring bells.]

[saboteuring]

[Toppings! She knows that word. And she knows syrup. And ice, and cream, but the sound of them together...

Well, they sound like something Vanille would probably like. She would have to try it, and tell Vanille when she woke up - or got back - and after she figured out why she was awake at all. She doesn't remember dreaming while in Crystal stasis the first time.

Fang is a little wrapped up in her own thoughts, sorry if she isn't too talkative, Usagi.]

[It's quite alright; Usagi talks enough for both of them until they reach the cafe and she opens the door to let Fang in.]

Motoki-onii-san works at the arcade, but his sister works at the cafe! We might see her if she's working today. Everyone else might be here, too!

[saboteuring]

[She finally pays attention again as the door opens, though Fang wordlessly insists Usagi go in first while she holds the door.] Ah-huh. Who is everyone else? Friends of yours?

[buntails]

Mmhm! we all come here as often as we can. We hang out here and have milkshakes.

[saboteuring]

I see. [It's a cute little shop, Fang decides. A visual survey of the place suggests the most advantageous position for her to sit in to see as man people as possible, but Usagi is her host, so -]

Where do you want to sit?

[buntails]

The table by the window, like always. [She apparently means that booth easily meant for about half a dozen people.]

[saboteuring]

All right then. [Fang lets Usagi lead the way, but she takes a seat in the corner, facing the door.]

Cute place. So this is your hangout, aye?

[buntails]

You could say that. It's a cafe for everyone, but we like coming here together. We've had a lot of good times here.

[saboteuring]

I see. It's important to have that time. [Her words seem to have a bit of a deeper meaning, but she doesn't say anything else, and is distracted by the approach of a waitress bearing two menus.]

[buntails]

[She knows how precious, and how fleeting, those times are. It just doesn't seem to change that smile and that hope.]
