[Who the hell is this girl? For some reason, she seems familiar, but Fang can't explain why - but she can worry about that after this - thing. Ceith?

Ceith probably aren't on Japan.

There's a little wry grin and a chuckle as Fang takes her red staff in hand, sliding into a wide fighting stance. She twirls it at her side and above her head with ease and grace, the grin from this new girl's joke turning into a darker one at the promise of a fight.]

This thing a friend o' yours?

[Whatever it is, it's in a costume that looks like a grotesque mockery of Sailor Moon's. The only good news is that at least this one is female in appearance in the process. Plenty hadn't been. It has glasses, and its hair is worn in a tight bun. It introduces itself soon enough: 'Sailor Librarian!']

... Is he even for real?

[She turns to Fang quickly.]

Look, you should get to safety!

I was about t' tell you the same thing! [Fang steps forward as "Sailor Librarian" does, shifting in a protective stance in front of the new arrival.]

"In the name of overdue book fines, you'll be punished!"

[Fang looks at the creature, bemused. She would almost find it funny, if this thing wasn't causing mayhem.]

What th' hell is it goin' on about?

[What is she doing?! Sailor Moon grabs at Fang's arm to bring her down to the ground, just as sharp library-card-shaped objects fly past them.]

She has to find a way to handle this without Fang getting herself hurt for real next time!

Whoa - [Instead of just being drug down, Fang ducks and rolls.] You'll hurt yourself like that! [she warns Sailormoon, even as she gets to one knee and -

Fang is suddenly dashing for the 'librarian', and she blocks another small volley of the library cards with a swift and powerful knock of the blades of one end of her staff. She engages the enemy then, moves effortless, despite the size of her weapon.

There's a sudden thud loud but dull thud, and Fang leaps away. She rubs at her forearm, glaring at the phage who suddenly, somehow, has a comically oversized book in hand - at least Fang blocked.]

You gotta be kiddin' me.

"Sshhh! No talking!"

WAIT!

[But she's calling out to Fang rather than the monster. This is going from bad to worse.]

That's still a person! They can be healed!

Wh - Aah! [The book comes at Fang again, and this time catches her entirely off guard, thanks to being distracted by Sailormoon. She's tossed a good distance away, slamming none too gracefully into a buildinj. Fang falls from the wall to one knee, glaring in Sailormoon's direction, then towards the monster. It seems she's not interested in listening, as she holds her hand out, standing straight. She snaps the staff behind her in one hand in an irritated gesture, left hand coming forward.]

Aeroga! [Wind stirs visibly at her fingertips, and 'Sailor Librarian' suddenly finds themselves hoisted into the air. But aside from the papers encircling them and being startled, they're entirely unharmed, just high enough they can't reach the ground or really do anything. Hand still extended, Fang turns to look at the other girl.]

Human? This thing's human?

What did you do?!

[She looks near-panicked, and runs a couple steps closer to the phage, ignoring the question.]

Is he alright? [She doesn't accuse, but- please tell her that poor person isn't hurt.]

He'd be dead if he wasn't. [Fang sounds irritated.] And you better explain what's going on before he is dead.

[The miniature tornado is already fading, and Sailormoon - you might want to back away before Sailor Librarian's dizziness wears off.]

[She wants to think they can work together, but it's getting worse and worse and a part of her wants to beg Fang to just go. She still doesn't seem the notice the danger in her worry, and with having to try to persuade Fang.]

Please. There isn't time for all of this. Please go. If it keeps on like this, he'll really be hurt and so will we, and everyone else nearby!

Hey! [Fang is quickly between the recovered Phage and Sailormoon, knocking away another volley of library card shuriken. Alright, Fang, you have no idea what's going on in this world, and this blond-haired chick seems to at least understand a little about the enemy. So standing guard, she talks over her shoulder.]

You said it can be healed.

What needs to be done? [She's apparently not going to go - but she doesn't seem intent on killing the thing in front of her, considering her words and defensive stance.]

I can heal them! So, please, let me! [Though at least for now the phage is contained. That helps to be sure others will be safe.]

Then do it! [Fang parries a blow from the oversized book, heel sliding a bit. The l'Cie begins circling, taking the phage's attention with her - and away from Sailormoon. Fang jabs now and then, but makes no move to actually hit the creature.

But so help her, girl, if this doesn't work...]

[Five words for Fang:]

Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss!

[The transition from not-quite-comical creature to human startles Fang, and she's left staring, still in a defensive stance, but her staff dropping by her side, loose in hand. Eventually she straightens as if aware of herself suddenly, though her eyes remain on where the phage stood.

It reminds her too much of Ceith - of l'Cie like her...who had been turned into twisted, tormented creatures because they hadn't completed their Focus passed down to them quickly enough. Only on Gran Pulse, and in Cocoon... They were damned to endlessly wander in anguish and pain. For a Ceith, there was no redemption.

Fang tears herself away, intent on pretending that didn't just noticeably bother her. She approaches Sailormoon. "Kid, are you okay?"

I'm fine. [She even smiles to prove it, but she doesn't quite seem to be paying attention to Fang as she hurries over to check on the victim, currently looking quite confused. She holds out her hand to help him up.]

[Fang puts away her staff, then stands back, crossing her arms and watching the blonde girl. It doesn't take long for her to piece together this strange person is, and when she realizes it, she wonders why she didn't realize before - Usagi was the only one she'd seen on her world or 'Japan' with that hairstyle. Usagi, after all, had been with her, and looking in the windows of the cafe now, Usagi was nowhere to be seen. And what was that line about a girl's first taste of sweets?

Riiiight.

But Fang will be back here, arms folded, a tiny, amused smirk tugging the corner of her lips.]

[Once the human formerly known as Sailor Librarian is feeling well enough to head home for a long nap to recover his wits, Sailor Moon comes back to Fang.]

Thanks for your help.

Ha. If by 'help' you mean 'gettin' in your way,' you're welcome. [It's not often Fang admits she did anything wrong, so remember this and appreciate it, Sailormoon.]

So, why the costume change?

[Cue absolute flailing.]

Costume change? This is what I always wear! [Crap, crap, crap...]

Right. Those pretty wings must be awfully inconvenient.

[She's kind of cute.] I suppose no Thundering Chocolate, now, aye?

[Usagi, this is when you disavow all knowledge.

No, wait, this is when you squee like the sweet-toothed fiend you are.]

Delicious! Can we have one?

[Y e p. She knew it.] Is it really alright to go back in there after that scene?

[She tries to keep up the role, even though it's already completely bombed.]

Back? Ahahaha I think there's a mistake....

It's alright. You tried, but sometimes it's better to know when to quit. [Funny Fang even knows that saying, given her track record.]
