Welcome to My World!

It's a whole new world!  And how lucky, you've got a friend(?) who has the responsibility of helping you live through it.  Are you a Super Saiyan getting used to the idea of demons in feudal Japan?  Or maybe you're an angel who's making friends with a pretty sweet alien.  Maybe you just come from an alternate version of earth and need a local to help you overcome culture shock.  Thank goodness you're not alone!

Here's how it works:
1. Leave a post. You will be the guide to any new arrivals to your world!
2. Comment to posts. You are stuck in the world belonging to the person you've tagged. (i.e., if you tag Naruto, you'll be in his world with him as your guide)
3. SHENANIGANS.  Thread out any scenario! Maybe various scenarios!  Write an epilogue when you're done or something. Use this meme to launch a million AUs for the musebox.  DO WHATEVER YOU LIKE.

Oh, but she called it cute! That helps, and Usagi persuades herself her secret is safe, too.]

Yeah. I've got a friend that wears hers in pigtails, but I've not seen the little buns before.

[buntails]

[BUNS! She called them buns! Usagi is starting to really, really, like Fang.]

Someone who appreciates them at last!

[saboteuring]

[Usagi is apparently easy to please. Fang chuckles quietly. She glances down to the table at the menus.]

By the way, did you ever order?

[buntails]

Yeah but... it probably got lost by now.

[Sigh. Hopefully they can order fresh soon.]

[saboteuring]

That's alright. We'll just ask for one again. [Fang glances around for the girl that brought them their menus.]

[buntails]

You were really brave, running right towards it like that!

[saboteuring]

[Oh, so you weren't in the bathroom the whole time.]

Nah.


...I'm used to fighting.

[buntails]

[Well, she did see you go booking out the door before she could even get there.]

Used to fighting...?

That sounds sort of sad. [It's not a fate she wishes on others.]

If it means protecting those important to me, it's not.

[buntails]

[Well, she agrees with that much. She just...

It had been hard but she hadn't minded being the only senshi for awhile after the Dark Kingdom, because it meant the others could live peaceful, happy lives without that burden. And they're supposed to make it that way for the people they protect.]

I understand. I still think you're brave, though.

[saboteuring]

I'm not brave. [Fang's voice gets a little sad for a moment, and she glances away. But that's not to share, and she shakes her head a little.]

So that girl out there with the wings and that creature - that happen often? [Come on, Usagi, play along, since Fang is still pretending she has no idea that the girl with the blonde pigtails with buns who mentioned a girl and her first time with sweets is Usagi. ]

[buntails]

Um, well, that sort of thing is in the newspapers sometimes... [ehehe... her innocent laugh is in no way nervous. Except it is.]

[saboteuring]

[Fine. Fang will open up first. Maybe the point is to find something she can open up about in return - like the icecream (which interestingly enough, made her drop her guard altogether).]

Where I'm from, there are creatures called Ceith. They were human, once. But they were given a task by one of the godlike beings there, and they didn't complete it fast enough. If they fail to complete it, they become Ceith - a mindless monster tormented by it's failure.

That thing, outside, reminded me a little of Ceith. It's good there's someone here who can heal them, return them to normal.

[buntails]

[She's horrified at once, though not by Fang.]

That's horrible! No one should have to be like that! No one has the right to do that to someone else!

[saboteuring]

I agree.

[My companions and I were chosen to carry out a task we didn't agree with - they decided to change it.]

[buntails]

[Seeing how quick Fang was to act, how strong she'd been in the battle...]

So you were fighting to try to protect them?

[saboteuring]

Vanille - One of them. She's important to me. I wanted to do everything I could from keepin' her goin' Ceith.

She's a lot like you, actually. Bubbly and cheerful.

[buntails]

Is that why you ran out there when the monster came?

[saboteuring]

Yeah. Not long ago, a lot of creatures suddenly ended up in a busy city like this, where no one could defend themselves. It reminded me of that time, so I guess I moved without thinkin'.

[buntails]

But Vanille wasn't here. [She points this out a bit archly.]

So I think you're really kind after all, fighting for everyone.

[saboteuring]

Hah. That almost makes me sound like a decent person. Don't fool yourself, kid. [Oh look Thunderin' Chocolate Sun-thingy time. Perfect!]

...Well this looks a bit weird. Where do you start on this thing?

[buntails]

[Usagi's picked up a spoon and is halfway to eating when the question hits her.

Wait. Fang doesn't know how eat one of these? This must be fixed immediately!]

Get a bunch of ice cream and whipped cream together!

[saboteuring]

Alright. [Fang doesn't sound terribly sure of herself, but she picks up a spoon, gingerly scooping some of the ice cream and the whipped topping onto the spoon. She's not shy about the amount she gets, though.

One mouthful later, the young woman delicately wipes a finger across her lip to make sure there's no whipped cream on her mouth.]

Hm - not bad, [she decides, and goes in for another spoonful.]

[Now that, Fang, is just not right.]

It's way more than not bad! It's one of the most delicious treats everybody loves!
