Welcome to My World!

It's a whole new world!  And how lucky, you've got a friend(?) who has the responsibility of helping you live through it.  Are you a Super Saiyan getting used to the idea of demons in feudal Japan?  Or maybe you're an angel who's making friends with a pretty sweet alien.  Maybe you just come from an alternate version of earth and need a local to help you overcome culture shock.  Thank goodness you're not alone!

Here's how it works:
1. Leave a post. You will be the guide to any new arrivals to your world!
2. Comment to posts. You are stuck in the world belonging to the person you've tagged. (i.e., if you tag Naruto, you'll be in his world with him as your guide)
3. SHENANIGANS.  Thread out any scenario! Maybe various scenarios!  Write an epilogue when you're done or something. Use this meme to launch a million AUs for the musebox.  DO WHATEVER YOU LIKE.

Well it's not so you'll feel sorry for me.

I'm not saying it from pity, or anything like that. But I want to understand.

[saboteuring]

[Fang sighs heavily.] It's true, simple as that. Someone who turns on their companions, that's not a good person, is it? Even now, I know I'd do it again, if I thought it'd work.

Vanille is the only person I care about in this world.

[buntails]

I don't believe that. Because, you already understand it didn't work well.

[saboteuring]

You asked for an explanation, I gave you one that's truthful. Whether you believe it or not is your deal.

[buntails]

I wasn't trying to say anything bad, I just...

I believe in you, and I think your friends do, too. And I think they believe in you while understanding you.

[saboteuring]

Nah. [Fang shakes her head dismissively. Her tone remains fairly calm, although perhaps a bit exasperated.] Maybe they do. I wouldn' call 'em friends, though - I'd doubt they'd call me one. That's fine.

...I wonder how long it's been since I seen 'em?

[buntails]

[Her eyes are steady on Fang.]

Strange thing is, I dunno. Truthfully, I dunno how I'm sitting here right now. Remember the l'Cie thing I told you about, the Ceith? If a l'Cie does finish their focus, their 'reward' is an eternal crystal sleep. I should be asleep - or maybe dead, I dunno.

[buntails]

But you are here right now. [She says it quietly, with just the barest hint of emphasis.] That means you have a chance still, to let yourself accept these things.

[saboteuring]

I suppose I do.

[buntails]

So take that chance, for your friends.

[saboteuring]

Mm. [Fang leans on her hand again.] At least you've got that stubborn part down.

[buntails]

This is something I definitely won't give up on, no matter what happens.

[saboteuring]

I wouldn't say that, if I were you.


[The waitress brings them a check, and Fang looks at it curiously. It takes her a moment, then,]

This is what we owe, then?

[buntails]

I will say it. Because it's what I've lived by all this time. [There's something a bit too serious about her suddenly, for the cheerful girl. It's broken as the bill comes.]

Oh, just a few hundred yen.

[saboteuring]

[The young woman side-eyes her companion at that, before glancing to the bill.


Here's hoping credits and yen work the same here. Fang withdraws that 'incentive chip' she mentioned, and hands it over when the waitress returns.]

[buntails]

[Eep! Right. Usagi watches the waitress just a bit nervously.]

[saboteuring]

[Fang gives the waitress a passing smile as the girl returns with no indications anything is wrong, and puts the card back in it's respective pouch without so much as a comment or expression change.]

[buntails]

[Usagi lets out a breath of relief.]

Guess it was alright. Banks aren't that different all over, huh?

[saboteuring]

I suppose not.

[buntails]

But we still have to find your way back!

What about the train station? Maybe you'd get an idea there!

[saboteuring]

[Fang moves to stand, mindful of her staff and that she doesn't accidentally knock into anything - or anyone - with it.]

It's worth a shot. [Except not. Fang is well aware this isn't her world at all. But she's not going to trouble this kid over it.]

[buntails]

[But unless they're Chibiusa or Chibi-Chibi people don't just come out of nowhere!]

Where should we look for? We can ask the workers at the station, too.
