Welcome to My World!

It's a whole new world!  And how lucky, you've got a friend(?) who has the responsibility of helping you live through it.  Are you a Super Saiyan getting used to the idea of demons in feudal Japan?  Or maybe you're an angel who's making friends with a pretty sweet alien.  Maybe you just come from an alternate version of earth and need a local to help you overcome culture shock.  Thank goodness you're not alone!

Here's how it works:
1. Leave a post. You will be the guide to any new arrivals to your world!
2. Comment to posts. You are stuck in the world belonging to the person you've tagged. (i.e., if you tag Naruto, you'll be in his world with him as your guide)
3. SHENANIGANS.  Thread out any scenario! Maybe various scenarios!  Write an epilogue when you're done or something. Use this meme to launch a million AUs for the musebox.  DO WHATEVER YOU LIKE.

Is that why you ran out there when the monster came?

Yeah. Not long ago, a lot of creatures suddenly ended up in a busy city like this, where no one could defend themselves. It reminded me of that time, so I guess I moved without thinkin'.

[buntails]

But Vanille wasn't here. [She points this out a bit archly.]

So I think you're really kind after all, fighting for everyone.

[saboteuring]

Hah. That almost makes me sound like a decent person. Don't fool yourself, kid. [Oh look Thunderin' Chocolate Sun-thingy time. Perfect!]

...Well this looks a bit weird. Where do you start on this thing?

[buntails]

[Usagi's picked up a spoon and is halfway to eating when the question hits her.

Wait. Fang doesn't know how eat one of these? This must be fixed immediately!]

Get a bunch of ice cream and whipped cream together!

[saboteuring]

Alright. [Fang doesn't sound terribly sure of herself, but she picks up a spoon, gingerly scooping some of the ice cream and the whipped topping onto the spoon. She's not shy about the amount she gets, though.

One mouthful later, the young woman delicately wipes a finger across her lip to make sure there's no whipped cream on her mouth.]

Hm - not bad, [she decides, and goes in for another spoonful.]

[buntails]

[Now that, Fang, is just not right.]

It's way more than not bad! It's one of the most delicious treats everybody loves!

[saboteuring]

Alright, alright, it's pretty good. [That's all you're getting out of her though. But Usagi - make sure you keep pace! Fang is going in for another spoonful.]

[buntails]

[Please, Fang would need an hour's head start to keep ahead of Usagi in ice-cream eating.]

Not just pretty good, either! The best!

[saboteuring]

I'll take your word for it, [She says, enjoying another spoonful - this time with a bit of the hot fudge on it.]

[buntails]

I always tell the truth, especially about food. [But the good-natured grin says she's really just having fun - though she is truthful by nature.]

[saboteuring]

[Fang chuckles.] Right, then. [At least the conversation has moved on from heavier things - althought Usagi still hasn't said anything else about that - Sailor Librarian thing.]

[buntails]

[But Usagi doesn't know anything about Sailor Librarian! Or at least, she's still got herself convinced that was believed.]

If you don't agree, what's your favorite treat?

[saboteuring]

My favorite treat? I don't eat a lot of sweets, but I suppose...there's a certain type of fruit I like, it's my favorite. It's season is very short, so it's a rare treat.

[buntails]

That's almost as bad as saying your favorite food is a vegetable!

What fruit was it?

[saboteuring]

[The name Fang gives Usagi is definitely something the girl will have heard of - it sounds like she's speaking an entirely different language altogether. And then she simply takes another bite of the sundae.]

[buntails]

Never heard of it. [Which automatically makes her wonder what it could taste like.]

[saboteuring]

It's about like this - [Fang holds up a hand, indicating something about the size of a kiwi.] It's blue, and more sour than sweet. It has a hard shell.

[buntails]

That doesn't sound very good at all! A dessert should be sweet!

[saboteuring]

[Fang chuckles at Usagi's reaction.] Vanille thought so too. Her favorite is like a little cake, with sweet berries in them.

[buntails]

Hey we can find a cake kind of like that in the bakery! There's one nearby. Want to have some to bring home for her?

[saboteuring]

[Fang probably would have looked less startled if Usagi had just slapped her.

Vanille was sleeping. And maybe she would never wake up. After all, that was what the l'Cie's 'reward' was - eternal crystal sleep. But maybe she would wake up - after all, they'd woken once before, right?

Fang's smile is troubled and frail, but she attempts.]

Yeah, she'd like that.

[buntails]

[There's always that chance. At least immediately, Usagi seems oblivious to the mood.]

We'll choose a type she'll really like!

[saboteuring]

Yeah. [Topic change!] But before that, you might wanna pay attention to where your treat is going. [Fang makes a light jab at Usagi's spoon to get to more of the icecream, which is quickly going away. Now she's just teasing.]

[buntails]

Wait! That's no fair! [On the brighter side, this protest does not devolve into wailing. Instead, Usagi nudges Fang's hand away and goes after the ice cream herself.]
