Welcome to My World!

It's a whole new world!  And how lucky, you've got a friend(?) who has the responsibility of helping you live through it.  Are you a Super Saiyan getting used to the idea of demons in feudal Japan?  Or maybe you're an angel who's making friends with a pretty sweet alien.  Maybe you just come from an alternate version of earth and need a local to help you overcome culture shock.  Thank goodness you're not alone!

Here's how it works:
1. Leave a post. You will be the guide to any new arrivals to your world!
2. Comment to posts. You are stuck in the world belonging to the person you've tagged. (i.e., if you tag Naruto, you'll be in his world with him as your guide)
3. SHENANIGANS.  Thread out any scenario! Maybe various scenarios!  Write an epilogue when you're done or something. Use this meme to launch a million AUs for the musebox.  DO WHATEVER YOU LIKE.

That doesn't sound very good at all! A dessert should be sweet!

[Fang chuckles at Usagi's reaction.] Vanille thought so too. Her favorite is like a little cake, with sweet berries in them.

[buntails]

Hey we can find a cake kind of like that in the bakery! There's one nearby. Want to have some to bring home for her?

[saboteuring]

[Fang probably would have looked less startled if Usagi had just slapped her.

Vanille was sleeping. And maybe she would never wake up. After all, that was what the l'Cie's 'reward' was - eternal crystal sleep. But maybe she would wake up - after all, they'd woken once before, right?

Fang's smile is troubled and frail, but she attempts.]

Yeah, she'd like that.

[buntails]

[There's always that chance. At least immediately, Usagi seems oblivious to the mood.]

We'll choose a type she'll really like!

[saboteuring]

Yeah. [Topic change!] But before that, you might wanna pay attention to where your treat is going. [Fang makes a light jab at Usagi's spoon to get to more of the icecream, which is quickly going away. Now she's just teasing.]

[buntails]

Wait! That's no fair! [On the brighter side, this protest does not devolve into wailing. Instead, Usagi nudges Fang's hand away and goes after the ice cream herself.]

[saboteuring]

[A soft laugh. Contrary to her usual self, Fang does back off so Usagi can have the last couple of spoonfuls. (If it had been that fruit she likes, though...)]

[buntails]

[Oops, she's making a pig of herself again. Usagi seems to realize it finally, and lets out a tiny awkward laugh.]

Sorry...

[saboteuring]

Wot're you apologizing for? [A small chuckle.]

[buntails]

It's a mess..... I made a mess. Sorry for that.

[saboteuring]

That's what napkins are for, right?

[buntails]

[Good point! Usagi scoops up several more than necessary and starts cleaning herself up.

... And notices Fang isn't messy at all.]

I made a bad first impression. [It doesn't seem to bother her much, though.]

[saboteuring]

On who? [A grown woman should not be messy. Fang is too suave for getting that, besides.]

[buntails]

[who else did she just meet?]

Well, you.

[saboteuring]

[The point was you didn't make a bad first impression.]

Nah. I think you're kinda cute.

[buntails]

Cute, huh... [Not upset precisely, but she seems a bit rueful.]

I can't be thought of as cute forever. I need to become more serious. But even though I know that, I end up like this.

[saboteuring]

[...Interesting. Fang leans on her hand, elbow on the table. The other hand reaches out to gently slip under Usagi's chin, as if to inspect her.]

There are different kinds of cute, you know. Cute doesn't have to mean childish.

[buntails]

Eh? What do you mean? [She doesn't move away from Fang's grip.]

[saboteuring]

When I say you're cute, I mean you're attractive. Besides, seriousness has it's place, but so does fun. [She draws her hand away, folding both hands on the table.] Don't forget that - it's easy to do.

[buntails]

I think so, too. [She'd always encouraged the girls not to give up their happiness and dreams, even in the most serious times, but...]

But I think I've let people down.

[saboteuring]

[That was unexpected. Fang's tone softens slightly.] How so?

[buntails]

[How to even explain it.]

I want to do my best for my friends, but lately it feels a little like we're drifting apart.

[She doesn't doubt them, of course not. But she feels the distance and wonders how to fix it.]

[saboteuring]

[Friends...

Fang can't say much positive about that one. The only person she's close to is Vanille. And even in the end, even coming so far with the others, she turned on them...even if she wanted to call the others friends - Vanille a friend - she couldn't call herself a friend. Still, she'd seen what had happened with the other l'Cie (not that any of them had been friends before, but Fang wasn't considering that.]

It happens in hard times to the closest of people. In the end, every person has their own agenda. Even if it's the same end, people will go different ways to to get to it.

[buntails]

I don't think so. I think together, we have a much better chance of meeting all of our goals.
