THE CRACK PAIRING MEME
crack pairing
An unusual relationship of any kind of fandom (i.e. books, television shows, movies, ect.) that is unlikely to happen.
OR
Randomly take two characters… they don’t have to know each other, they don’t have to show ANY signs of a relationship, and hook them together. That is a crack pairing.
We all know them. Fandoms have fostered these little gems of shipping since the early days, and now, they can even be serious contenders in even the most hostile of shipping wars. Maybe they're absolutely ridiculous and only "for the lulz." Perhaps they make perfect sense...if you squint. Whatever the case may be, these so-called "crack" pairings are not canon and they're nowhere near as popular in fandom as the big fanon pairings.
Most of the time.
Of course, it's important to note that a lot of the time in RP, pairings are always crack pairings. Especially crossover ships, which canon purists would deride purely for being impossible. Still, in memes, that's less likely to happen because people either stick with canon ships, fanon ships, or close CR because of the lack of opportunities for development that games offer.
Not here. This meme is for ALL your ridiculousness, all your high school fangirl dreams, and just plain not being sorry for your ships. Think these characters would be cute together? Go for it. That character have adorable icons and that all you know about them? Ship it, by all means. Here, the reasons come after the desire.

On The Run Meme
Maybe something went wrong, or maybe it's just another normal day in your life, but you've found yourself on the run. Did you commit a crime, or cross the wrong person, or simply end up in the wrong place at the wrong time? Whatever the reason behind your situation is, your goal is the same: don't get caught.
How To Play
• Comment with your character, and if you're feeling ambitious put in a bit of a starter. Who are you running from and why?
• Respond to others, either as their partner on the run or part of the force chasing them.
• Have epic adventures, fall in love, utterly fail and get caught. See how it goes!
• RNG for some extra unpredictable fun.

Scenarios
1. Running from the cops. You broke the law, whether it was shoplifting or murder, and now you've got a warrant out for your arrest.
2. Attracted the wrong attention. You made someone angry, or obsessed, or otherwise drawn their ire and now they're after you.
3. Somewhere or somewhen. You've ended up in a place and/or time in which you're not welcome.
4. Wildcard!
Relationships
1. Friends (or more.) You've known each other for awhile and are on good terms, so hopefully you can rely on each other in this situation.
2. Circumstantial allies. Strangers, enemies, or otherwise you've ended up in this mess together, and it might benefit you both to cooperate.
3. Opposite sides. One of you is the runner, and the other is pursuing. Which will prevail?
4. Wildcard!
Complications
1. Late to the party. How many people did you piss off? In addition to whoever was already after you, someone else now is as well. Maybe they'll take each other out?
2. Confrontation. They've found you, and it's come down to a fight.
3. Disguise. You can't evade them, but you can hope they won't recognize you. Better be a good actor!

How to Play
→ Comment with your character. You might also want to include if you're okay with actual 'spoilers' from your character's canon/4th wall breakage, should there be any actual psychics out there.
→ Others try and 'see their future.' Said attempt comes in any form: praise, encouragement, a read or barb, random guessing, a legitimate warning (stop walking where piano movers are working, thank me later) or even an attempt to woo with a future they see as shared.

It's this meme. You have one shot to marry off your character. ONE subject line. The rest of their life depends on it. Their life depends on it!

1) Stranded!
You're stuck somewhere! Your car broke down, your bike lost a wheel, your bi-plane was dismantled by ninja bears, you were chased up a tree by protesters. Somebody help!
2) Stumped!
You've got a mystery on your hands! A murder? A missing pet? Someone ate the cookies from the cookie jar? Anything! But you're going to need a hand to find out who did it!
3) Museless!
Your project isn't going well, writers/artists/inventors block has you banging your head against a wall! Won't someone come along and be your muse, or even just help you take a break for a while?
4) Overwhelmed!
You're overburdened! You're carrying more groceries than you can hold onto, staring at a huge pile of paperwork, your car is buried under more snow than you could move in a lifetime, everything just went wrong at once! You can't do this all by yourself!
5) Injured!
You've fallen and you can't get up, you stepped on a rake, you fell down the stairs, your arm is stuck in a vending machine. You'll be okay, probably, but ow that really hurt! You could use a hand patching up!

Pick any of the above or something totally different, as long as your character could really do with an extra person to help them out!

The Punching Booth! It's like kissing for people with anger issues. Everybody gets one punch! No below the belt stuff (that's extra). Or, you know, if you're really motivated, you can kiss someone; sometimes that's worse than being punched. Or better. I'm not your boss.
You know the rules! Top level with your preferences, and punch, punch, punch! Get it out of your system before you have to start making those pesky resolutions.

 Taking in strays is, all in all, an understandable vice. The dips in between their ribs, those large and forlorn eyes, they can help you forget the claws and the teeth and the danger lurking beneath fur. But the habit's a knife edge; your efforts may not be rewarded with kindness (animal instincts aren't discretionary) and you may get bit despite what you've overlooked. A stray doesn't care about pity. All it can know is survival. These warnings apply to strays of the more human(oid) sort, too. But what may even more perilous with this type than any drawn blood is what you can get when they grow to trust you. You can earn their undying loyalty...or their love. Either from such a wild thing is a precarious path to go down, if you allow yourself to do it.
