 a sci-fi au meme ( The Setting ) ( The Premise ) ( The Problem ) tl;dr sparknotes this because we want to get to the meme: Sentinels and guides had a baby with YA dystopian lit. After a near extinction level cataclysm, people began to develop abilities that fall into two categories: Powered (sentinel/warrior) and Source (guide/healer). Their true powers are only revealed when they find their one genetically compatible match. A shadow government kidnaps these individuals, puts them into lifebonds, trains them for combat, then sends them out in teams to do all the dirty work. Codependency, mind-bonding, unhealthy love, and bloody murder probably ensue.

Massage Meme
Everyone could use a good massage now and again right? Well it's time to let you characters lay back and relax-- or maybe treat someone else to a little skin therapy. ;) Break out the oils and scented candles, it's time for a good rub down.
How to play:
❧ POST with your character (list their name & canon in the subject if you please)
❧ Others can reply giving the massage or recieving it.
❧ Use RNG to pick from the numbers below, or pick your numbers, or make something up!
❧ Have fun!
Type
001. Shoulder and Neck - the basic of the basic. Perhaps a strained shoulder, been sitting too long at their desk. Or maybe something even more strenuous. However, it's time to work out all those accumulated kinks.
002. Foot - It's time to give those yapping dogs a rest and treat them to a little TLC.
003. Hand - Hey don't forget about the hands, overworked constantly they could use a bit of a break.
004. Arm - Time to loosen up a bit and rub out those arm muscles.
005. Leg - Perhaps you're looking for something a bit more specific and intimate. Calve massage? Thigh? It's your choice.
006. Back - Considered a coup de grace of massage, the back massage, when done right, can bring extreme relief to those who receive it.
007. Scalp - Wanna feel those tingles down your spine? Maybe a little oil to help add health to the hair?
008. Full Body - Maybe it’s not just a specific area you want treated, but your entire body.
009. Wild Card - Anyway you want it. Mix and match, maybe I forgot something you want.

001. Friend - getting a massage from a friend can be a wonderful bonding experience. And exacerbate already existing tensions ;D
002. Lover - Whether a show of care or a prelude to something more intimate, a massage from a lover is a very welcome thing.

 A big old ring with a big old stone, or some plastic thing from a gumball machine. A necklace with a family history. A cool hat with your own personal logo on it, or your favorite shirt. A grungy ninja cowl. A lovebite to the neck. The trinket can be anything, and the proposal doesn't have to be for marriage. All this gift from one to another has to represent is a promise: one that means you take the relationship between the two of you seriously and you want to take things to the next level - whether you openly acknowledge this fact or not. Oh, and this promise is also a sign to the whole darn world that this person is off the market. Can't forget that side effect. All that aside, it's time to give that special someone what you've settled on, no matter if you've mulled over what to offer them forever or if this is a spur of the moment decision.

 SECRET relationship; The fact that you're in a relationship with this person isn't public knowledge. Actually, no one knows about it except for the people involved. Maybe you guys are just private like that; on the other hand, it may be a necessity to keep things a secret from others. Maybe you're both team mates, and others on the team would give you grief, or you're not suppose to be dating, or you're not the type to usually date and you're only testing the waters. Perhaps it's the combination of you two, possibly an odd couple, that would bring some controversy or some teasing. Or, you know, you could not want to deal with friends and relatives being busybodies. Your reasons are your own. Are you content with stealing moments to be together as a couple? Do you want to make your relationship known and the fact that you can't drives you batty? Remember, there are lots of benefits to dating in secret. You can be yourselves completely, away from prying eyes, and get to know each other better as potential longterm romantic partners. In a way, it's ideal. ...still, do you ever wish you could scream from the rooftops how much you care for your significant other? how to play.

Person A/OP/top level commenter owes someone something. (So when you comment actually list off a few ideas of what your character owes. I won’t delete blank comments but I’ll make annoyed noises at them.)
Person B is the person collecting, either because Person A owes them something or they’re the debt collector on behalf of a third party. Or they could be someone helping Person A escape their debt? Who knows, it’s a meme. Go wild.
THINGS YOUR CHARACTER COULD OWE:

- A life/soul/something along these lines.
- A firstborn child.
- A plausible cover story.
- Something highly illegal and very sketchy.

The Story of Us  a [crossover pairing encouraged] shipping meme Crossover pairings are fun. Arguably, they can be one of the best parts of panfandom RP. After all, there's nothing quite like that spark when two characters just "click," especially when it was completely unplanned. AWESOME. Unfortunately, in a lot of shipping memes here and elsewhere, the environment isn't really conducive to spontaneity. People usually just stick to castmates or close friends, and don't tag out due to lack of knowledge of canons or just plain intimidation. That's not fun for those of us who want to throw caution out the windows and just try crazy things. This meme's for you, risk takers, crack shippers, or people who just want something new. All there is to do is fill out a tiny blurb so that people who don't know your canon will have some idea about your character. Then, go. Play. Don't let anything stop you. Don't know where to go with an idea? Wing it! The prompts here are not the super specific variety that most ship memes have, where you almost have to have canon knowledge. Want to reply to a character but have no idea where to begin? Make things up! The more creative, the better. ( it's all under here... ) |

 Bricks and mortar can make up a house, but most of us know that four walls don't a home make. Yet some go through life without either. Perhaps that's been your case - up until now. Whether you come happily and openly or this is something you're pulled into out of convenience and circumstance, you now have a roof over your head. What's more important though is, slowly but surely, you're gaining a home...and this home? It's a person, a person you're realizing you never want to lose and to whom you're forever grateful, no matter if your feelings toward them are romantic or platonic. When you’re stranded. When there’s no way out.
At least this you’re not alone.
WHERE ARE YOU STRANDED?
1: Island. Surrounded by the ocean, shipwrecked on an island. Far away from any civilization.
2: Planet. Is it an uninhabited wasteland? A teeming forest, crammed with alien life forms? Does it have enough oxygen? Storms? Predators?
3: Moon/Asteroid. Low atmosphere, low gravity. You better hope that you have a survival pod where there’s enough air and heat.
4: Adrift. A ship on the ocean; a power-dead space station; a skimmer floating through the levels of a gas giant.
5: Oasis. Not quite marooned in the same sense, but you’re surrounded by empty desert, too far to cross. You might as well be trapped by the water of the oasis.
6: Cave. Again, not quite in the same sense, but something has left you trapped underground. Did you slide down a chasm? Suffer a cave-in? Either way, you’re down here to stay, for the time being.
7: Other.
WHO’S WITH YOU?
1: A friend. You’re in this together.
2: An enemy. Maybe war brought you both here, and war left you stranded behind. Could be that you’re an enemy in a more mundane sense: school rivals, an assassin and her prey.
3: Strangers. You were both on that boat for vacation, and now you have to survive together.
4: A lover. Some honeymoon, huh?
5: Other. For any other variation.
WHAT’S THE PROBLEM?
1: Food and water.
2: Shelter. There’s a storm coming. The nights are cold, here. Or do you just want a sense of security?
3: Communication. How can you get someone to come rescue you?
4: Predators. Something’s trying to kill you…
5: Escape. If you can just fix the ship…
6: Each other. One more hour and you might kill each other.
7: Injury/Disease. One of you needs medical attention. Hopefully the other can muddle through.
8: Other. Any other problem you can think up!
