The Story of Us  a [crossover pairing encouraged] shipping meme Crossover pairings are fun. Arguably, they can be one of the best parts of panfandom RP. After all, there's nothing quite like that spark when two characters just "click," especially when it was completely unplanned. AWESOME. Unfortunately, in a lot of shipping memes here and elsewhere, the environment isn't really conducive to spontaneity. People usually just stick to castmates or close friends, and don't tag out due to lack of knowledge of canons or just plain intimidation. That's not fun for those of us who want to throw caution out the windows and just try crazy things. This meme's for you, risk takers, crack shippers, or people who just want something new. All there is to do is fill out a tiny blurb so that people who don't know your canon will have some idea about your character. Then, go. Play. Don't let anything stop you. Don't know where to go with an idea? Wing it! The prompts here are not the super specific variety that most ship memes have, where you almost have to have canon knowledge. Want to reply to a character but have no idea where to begin? Make things up! The more creative, the better. The Steps - Make a comment with your character, canon, preferences, etc in the subject. What kind of character they'd be attracted to: ...anyone, really. She doesn't have a type because, well, sheltered. Rogues may have a small, soft part of her big ol' heart, though

Canon: Yu Yu Hakusho
About: Botan is one of those ambiguous "older than she looks"/vaguely non-human characters. In her canon, she serves as one of the many grim reapers. However, just because her job is dark doesn't mean she is. Her personality is extremely chipper and upbeat (though it can veer from bubbly girl to deadpan snarker to outright troll). One major flaw of hers, though, is her tendency to be a motormouth and talk before she thinks. That's gotten her into more than one bit of trouble. But she makes up for it with loyalty to her friends and her employer, the prince of the Spirit World.
What kind of character they'd be attracted to: -Smart, quirky individuals

Canon: X-Men Films (Specifically a post-Days of Future Past AU)
About: Sassy southern belle mutant who has survived a war and the literal end of the world she's known. Her mutation makes it impossible for her to have skin-to-skin contact with others, meaning most people are usually afraid of being near her, and so she craves physical affection of any sort even while being wary of it.
What kind of character they'd be attracted to: People who are genuinely good (especially those who don't always show it on the surface), complex, or have strong conviction and the best intentions. Her mutation and experiences have shown her the darkest parts of humanity, and all she wants is to have someone she can trust to not hurt her.
[Would prefer to play the buildup route, starting at the beginning of things and then potentially skipping time. Prose is preferred.]

About: Once upon a time, a notorious organisation stole a boy that defeated them once before. In a cruel twist, they tortured him until he was mindless, the perfect weapon and slave. They sawed his arm off and replaced it with the Snag machine, the very weapon that Wes used to overtake them seven years ago.
But with the help of a doctor, Wes escaped with nothing but the name he barely remembered and the clothes on his back. He didn't want to remember how he killed his friends under the organisation's reign, and wanted to destroy himself, a disgusting machine...
But then he met you.
What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Preferably someone gentle or with a sweet side.
But really anyone who shows him kindness.
Literally you could give him mouldy bread and he'd be attracted to you.

Dutch Velders | The Strain
Canon: The Strain
About: Dutch is a free spirited expert hacker. Recently she's taken up hunting vampires, as well. It's been alluded to in canon that she has an artistic side, too. She's handy with a gun and pretty useful with a sword. Chances are she could probably save your ass if you were in trouble, but given that she gets into trouble, too, there's a chance you could save her.
What kind of character they'd be attracted to: In canon we've seen her fall for tall, noble, yet slightly rebellious types AND more conservative types. She is bisexual, so gender doesn't matter. In the end, she goes for "passionate, destructive relationships".

About: Easy-going and easy-coming Imperial mage and scholar with the soul of a dragon. Raised by priestesses of Dibella, he's more a lover than a fighter by nature - but he's also become a damn good fighter out of sheer necessity. Deeply loyal and fiercely protective of his friends and loved ones with a bit of a 'saving people thing.'

What kind of character they'd be attracted to: He's bisexual (see: raised by Dibellans), so gender doesn't matter. Personality wise, intelligence and a sense of adventure are the most important things - though he also has a soft spot for slightly-broken types who could use a little TLC (see: Erandur, Serana).
