[ if the jedi order had spies that even the jedi don't know about, elaina would be one of them. as it is, she's formally a member of the senate, and hardly anyone knows that she's also a spy for the rebellion. ]
( He is no knight, for all that he had wanted to be. His ability with the Force, his progress in training - he had been working towards great things. The talent that he showed as a youth had made his joining as easy progression, and he thrived under the discipline and the training. Sadly, not all things can continue as we desire them: a mission gone awry, capture by the Empire, and his use as an experiment for a spine to help channel the force and concentrate it put an end to his knighthood. Escape had been an accomplishment, but had had known when he returned that all would not be well. When the smuggler he had negotiated with delivered him home, a shivering, still-bloodied mess, they had cared for him. He was still their ally and he still had valuable information to deliver, but his control was so compromised that he could no longer be a knight. Lightning could burst over his skin, and while his alignment made it better, there was no changing it.
Still, he kept his lightsaber. They could pry that from his hands upon his death.
Now he contents himself to work as a spy, to gather information and smuggle goods for the rebellion, and to try and discover whatever he can about the monstrosity the Empire has dug into his back. It brings up too much anger in him, and he knows it well. This refuge means that at least he can train with his lightsaber, twisting and striking at some imaginary foe. )
[ bar owner and de facto ruler of an outpost for scum and villainy, fence, dispenser of info & jobs to pirates/smugglers/bounty hunters/rebels/whoever pays best. basically jabba the hutt but more business less grossness. ]
[She doesn't want an apprentice. She has never wanted an apprentice; apprentices are useless, slow, childish, unable to keep up for years, if at all. Rosalind has refused them time and again, loathing the thought of being nothing but a glorified babysitter, but now, it seems, she has no choice. The child is sitting outside her door, and has been for the past two days.
She opens the door with a harsh exhale.]
Get up.

[ volunteered for experimentation by a sith together with her brother, but eventually joined the rebellion instead when she learned the true extent of the empire's plans.
[Just because you blew up the Death Star doesn't mean you don't get to play messenger boy every once in a while. Luke has to wonder what it is about him - he knows he's small and quick on his feet, but...
Anyway. He likes Roxy well enough - she's a good soldier and she's good at gathering intel. Mon Mothma gave him the orders, and he doesn't want to let her down, of course. No matter how much of a hero you are, if the leader of the Alliance tells you to do something, you do it. (Plus, he's still a little nervous around Mon Mothma.)
Trotting down the hallways of the base, he knocks on Roxy's door, waiting for her to answer.]
[ She's definitely royalty from a family that probably had dealings with the Empire that she's not too proud of. Atoning for how they royally fucked some people. Whoops?? ]
[Daughter of corrupt Imperial politician. Family wiped out by other corrupt Imperial power seekers that mysteriously left her alive. Now works for the Rebellion, but her work is not pretty.]
