Love must have a certain passion behind it, to be sure, but not all passions are the same. The two of you love each other, and certainly romantically - or at least you're working on realizing that - and you're...not sexually intimate, or not in the way many would suspect. You're not ready for that yet, you're following the rules of you're society, you want them to know how serious you are, you're too busy or uninterested, you don't want to "dishonor" them in any way, or that's simply how both of you are comfortable: there are a number of reasons why you'd choose a romance of chastity, and none of them make the feelings between you any less valid.

Of course, no sexual intimacy doesn't mean no intimacy at all. Holding hands, resting of heads on shoulders, touching, kissing on other places than the mouth, spending time together, confessions, or giving gifts can show your emotions towards each other just as easily. You may only want to do these things away from the prying eyes of others, however. And, understandably, you might want to take those milestones slowly and carefully, the same way your relationship has blossomed.

...especially for confessions. For the type of love you two share, you don't want to admit to anything too idly.

How to Play

I wanted to make a meme like this because I thought the idea was darling and fresh, and it could apply to so many types of characters! It's the bread and butter for fantasy types, would be good for kids and the younger character sets, and despite how "badass" they are, it's pretty much shounen idiots to a T. There's very little romance proper in those canons, and it's all understated and unspoken if it's there at all. For a better write-up about all this, check out the TVTropes page!

Comment with your character, prefs, etc.
All characters are welcome, as there are prompts for everyone - yes, including your grimdark antiheroes and playboy types.
Reply to others. Your characters are well-established "old" couple who've been with each other for a while and - hopefully - have left all the drama behind.

not the settling sort: how did you, of all people, settle down? nevermind, you might as well just reap the benefits.
new place: you two just can't keep your hands to yourselves. or your bodies off every piece of furniture you have.

long distance: a more extreme version of the above. you two are married but don't live together, as one of you is always on the road...or on the run.
still so in love: no matter how long you've been together, the spark's still there.
hatesex: there's no spark here, as it's more like a raging inferno of resentment towards your insignificant other.
rekindle the spark: in continuation of spark talk, you guys are trying to recapture what you once had.
make-up sex: the best thing about marital spats? making up again!
romantic night: break out the chocolate and bubble bath.
still got it: they have no need for jealousy, as you have eyes only for them. you want to show them how beautiful they are.
domestically depraved: to the outside world, you're the Cleavers. in your own little world, you're still the perfect couple - just a bit kinky.

Sometimes, in that big ol' brain of yours, you just can't help but have a spontaneous reaction to someone you see. "Man," you think. "I'd love to be their friend." "I wouldn't kick them out of bed for eating crackers." "If I got the chance, I'd kiss them. No question asked." "They need a hug." "They need an ass-kicking." Nobody blames you for having idle fancies. It's only natural. ...except when those natural thoughts escape out of your head and into the wild. how do - Comment with your character and preferences. - Others will respond what they'd do to your character, from the innocent/gen (I'd protect you. I'd braid your hair and put flowers in it) to the most explicit (I'd screw your brains out. Or, y'know, even more filthy). - Respect limits! If someone wants G/PG/PG-13 thoughts only, don't give them anything hard R or etc.

The Dating Sim/Ero Game Meme!

Ah, dating sims. We know them. We love them. The joy of seeing a few options there and having to guess which one will turn out the right way to get us a few more heart points... It truly can't be beaten!

So, line up, protagonists, and see if you can woo the object of your affections! But beware... The outcome might be different than you imagined!

How to play:

ღ Post your character as a toplevel. Note if you want them to take the role Protag or Love Interest.

ღ Love Interests will respond to Protags with choices for them to make. For example:

[The Grinch wanders up to Poison Ivy. He sneers.]

Well, well, well, don't you look festive? What's with the red and green? You excited for Christmas?

[What do you do?
--> Tell him to fuck off.
--> Flirt with him.
--> Immediately demolish him with an MK11.]

In this example, The Grinch is the Love Interest and Poison Ivy is the Protag.

ღ From there, the Protag will respond with one of the options, like so:

[--> Flirt with him.

Ivy saunters forward, her green hips swaying like mistletoe in the breeze. She lets her fingers skim just under the Grinch's pine-colored beard.]

You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch... But I think I'm a little bit meaner.

ღ If you'd like, both of you can be Love Interests, so both of you can give options at the end of your tags! Just make sure to specify who you'd like to be when you're getting ready to tag.

ღ Don't be afraid to give things a twist. If your only options presented are ones you don't think your character would do, take it and make it your own! For example, you could take an option that says "Take him out" to mean on a date or in an assassin way. Have fun with it!
