You don't know why you strayed off your path, or why you decided to enter the unmarked, unlocked door. Something simply beckoned you, and there was no resisting.

Once inside, you'll find yourself in a long hallway marked by multiple doors on both sides. The walls are painted a deep red and lit with gently flickering candles. It's lovely in a way, but there's something ominous about the whole setup.

Rules: Your character picks a door, seemingly at random, only to have it lock behind them. Inside, they'll find the room set up as if to show their greatest fantasy - even one they may not realize themselves. Everything is perfectly prepared from the bed to the drawers filled with different tools and pleasurable objects to enticing refreshments on the tables. There's a deep scent to the air, perfume tainted with something dark - and the more you breathe in, the more your fantasies will come to mind, until the thought of not acting on them is unbearable.

All there is to do next is wait. You won't be alone for long.

Uh oh! Looks like something weird is happening, here! Did someone forget to pay the electricity bill? Or has that storm outside caused a blackout? Who knows! Reasoning aside, you are now trapped in darkness. You can't see anything, anything at all! And you can't even adjust to this darkness, for some reason! There's only black, black, black. Something about this room is odd, for certain!

How this is going to go down
♦ You will post as your character as ANON, because you're in the dark!
♦ There is no putting your character's name in the subject line. However, if you like, you can put your character's series/canon. It's no fun if you know who you're interacting with right away!
♦ You're free to set up your character fumbling around in the dark and such, just so you remember which comment is yours in this anon mess, if anything.
♦ Those who reply to you will roll the RNG for the specifics of the situation!
♦ Yay! In the dark shenanigans!!
♦ When you guys are ready, the lights go on, you can log into your character journals, and it's time to admire the awkward in the light.

♦ ONE: WHY IS IT SO SMALL AND CRAMPED IN THIS ROOM? Wait, this isn't a room, this is a closet. It looks like you've been locked inside for Seven Minutes in Heaven, or just for shits and giggles! The door doesn't seem to be opening, and it sounds like some ... Barry Manilow is playing? Oh, talk about awkward.
♦ TWO: BRR, WHY IS IT SO COLD? Looks like your clothes are missing! For some reason, you're only dressed in your underwear, or even commando if you feel like being really mean to your muse. Are you in bed with someone? Just can't find your clothes? Are THEY wearing your clothes? Up to you, because it really doesn't make it any less awkward.
♦ THREE: A LITTLE HANDSY: Did someone just cop a feel? There's a lot of accidental (or... not accidental groping going on, for whatever reason! Talk about an awkward situation, mmmhmm!
♦ FOUR: OOPS, STUCK! One of you is stuck somewhere in this room, and can't get out! Either in a hole in the floor or tied to a bed or something! Whatever you can think of! Hopefully the other person can help you out in the dark.
♦ FIVE: ON AND OFF! Rather than totally darkness, the lights are flashing on and off, creepily. And it looks like there might be monsters in there with you guys?! Or are those illusions?

If you don't want to roll the RNG, that's fine! Go ahead and create your own situation, if you'd like!

The Miraculous Resurrection Meme


(I can't be the only one who kind of wants one of those, right?)

You died. It was probably pretty tragic and somewhat epic. But you got better. You're back! You're alive! This is pretty awesome! Or is it?

• Tag other people.


• Come back to life. But that's vague, and so if you're stumped and just need a little bit of inspiration on how to get things moving, hit up the RNG and roll some numbers or just pick from one of the following:
  
  1) If you died you died but briefly and bringing you back was no problem at all. Maybe somebody just used a phoenix down because it wasn't a cutscene death? Alternatively speaking, it was a mistake: you ingested a potion which put you in a death-like sleep for a time or something along those lines. Either way, rumors of your death were greatly exaggerated and it really was no big if it did happen, which allows you to move onto better and more important questions like what happened to your stuff, what happened to your friends, and hopefully no one did anything incredibly stupid like charge the big bad in your name and get killed for their trouble.
  
  2) You died. Bringing you back was the end of a long quest which may or may not have used the powers of good. (Hopefully no one did anything too drastic like fall to the Dark Side or closest equivalent thereof in the process.) No matter what, though, it's the end of a long and dramatic journey for someone.
  
  3) You were brought back, but as some shambling hideous abomination and...wow. This is going to be awkward.
  
  4) You died. And you're not exactly back...see, you know those spirit guides or voices from beyond which guide some lucky person on their own quest of salvation and hope? You got a job doing that.
  
  5) You died. But now you're back, complete with a heroic resurrection in the nick of time with dramatic music and an accompanying power up. The downside is that these heroic resurrections tend to come with missions, quests, and flying off to battle the ultimate foe. Hope you weren't planning on kicking back and relaxing for a bit, there's stuff that needs doing.
  
  6) ...okay, so maybe your death was a little bit faked...Brazil was nice this time of year and uh, now you have to silence some people who may have spotted you.
