It's time for you to act your age.

It's been decided decided that youth is wasted on the young, so lucky inhabitants will be indulged in a bit of age play. As the name suggests, this means one partner is treated as a difference age than they actually are. Usually, this comes with the implication of their being an "age gap."

Today, the luckier will find that they're roleplaying these scenarios with another person, all with a...decidedly sexual tinge. Of course, there may be an actual age difference, but everyone is of age and this is all pretend. As for others? Well, they may find themselves a bit more involved. For them, all this is real. This might be a mental thing, or the powers that be may be a bit more creative and tinker with physical ages. It all depends on how good you are. But what about the kids who are already- er- kids? They'll stay as they are, and get paired with an older partner. Sounds great, doesn't it?

So bust out the teenage angst or the frilly dresses and bows, and play nice. Remember: always bring an adult.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Post with your characters, including what role you'd like your character to play (older/younger) and your preferences (no one under ____, no number 2, roleplay only, etc).
2. Tag around, either choosing options at random or using some kind of RNG.
3. Don't be naughty~. Or do.

1. PARENT & CHILD: So, have you been bad? You know what happens to bad kids...
2. OLDER SIBLING & YOUNGER SIBLING: If the parents aren't in the picture, someone has to take care of business.
3. OTHER FAMILIAL RELATIONSHIP: Keepin' it in the family.
4. TEACHER & STUDENT: Don't stand, don't stand so, don't stand so close to me...at least not during schools hours.
5. DOCTOR & PATIENT: An apple a day keeps the doctor away, unless you want to play.
6. CUSTOMER & STRIPPER/DANCER/HOOKER: Older people have the money, younger people need the money. Surely something can be worked out.
7. JAILBAIT: One of you better watch out, because this is trouble with a capital T.
8. THE BABYSITTER: ...you've seen the porn. I don't have to describe this.
9. CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURES: If you don't see something you want, make it up.

[There's just something about the new student teacher. He's so small, so delicate looking - pretty like a girl, John tells himself, as if that makes it okay.

Not that he feels the need to come up with excuses for any of his male crushes. With John, it all comes down to his self-absorbed nature: he wants what he wants because he wants it, and if that doesn't fit with what society says is right or makes people assume things about him, that's pretty much their problem. He'll leave the self-loathing and doubt to weaker people, and just concentrate on getting what he wants.

Which is why he's in detention, since he's heard that Ms. Grey leaves Kamui alone to supervise the after-school punishments; good experience for a student teacher, learning how to deliver discipline. As luck would have it, he's also the only student staying behind, seated in the back row with a zippo lighter that he plays with in a rather loud, obvious way.

Lighters aren't allowed in the school. Will Kamui have the balls to come and confiscate it? That's what John is banking on.]

Despite the wholeheartedly enthusiastic agreement to lead the Tai Cheng monks through the dense woodlands here in Faerun, Alastair has taken to keeping a slight distance from the group when settling down in the early evening to rest. Perhaps he comes off as stand-offish, maybe even rude, though he hopes this is not so when compared to his interactions with the monks themselves. At this time of day, though, he feels like an intruder -- the odd one out. It feels more comfortable to keep himself isolated, partially for cathartic reasons, and to avoid stepping on any toes.

Not that he is avoiding interaction, but tonight he's feeling a little bit homesick...which is an interesting phenomenon, considering that he specifically has no home.

As the group settles down in a small clearing of the forest, Alastair has nestled himself some yards away against a large boulder, tinkering with his fiddle. It's a curious instrument made of greyish-green hued wood, as if coloured with moss deep in the wood grain. He has extracted a string and is replacing it with a new one, carefully winding it around the nob and tuning it carefully. This violin is the only piece of home that remains, and it's soothing to tend to it. He glances over at the camp setting up, always fascinated in the monks' ways of life. They're from such completely different worlds that it feels almost surreal to see.

He smiles, reassured knowing the world is so different and full of oddities, much like himself. Only he could feel the most comfortable in the most alien of circumstances.

Physical displacement is all Lee had ever known, and she's beginning to realise that she overestimated how much she longed to trade it for emotional standstills instead. Now she can stay in one place much longer than before, but at what cost? She enjoys her life with the monks in the monastery, but there's sometimes an echo in the back of her mind of her mother's laughter inside her family's yurt...

Traveling feels like a relief, but it's a false one, unaccompanied by cattle to herd or anything to tend to while walking endless miles. The exertion is good for her, yes, but Lee still needs to unwind in the evening with tai chi once the others have parted ways for the night, or even secret jogs through the Faerun forest.

She feels addicted to the physical accompaniments of the monastic life, and yet as though the emotional implications are far beyond her still. She's too young, too tempermental, too unfocused despite her rigid adherence to rules and fierce training.

Lee stands abruptly, bare feet still a comforting surprise after years of wearing heavy boots out on the steppes of Tai Cheng, and strides off away from the loosely-gathered monks who have all laid out their thin bed rolls for the night. She walks with purpose despite her lack of a destination - when has that ever made her slow down? - but stops when she notices movement to the side.

Dark hair and an oddly-colored instrument of some kind, it takes Lee a moment to realise that what Alastair's holding is even supposed to make sound. It's a tiny guqin, held aloft like a delicate bird perched on their guide's shoulder.

She's too unashamedly interested to realise she's staring at first.
