Can't it be both? You do sound good on that track, and I also like the lyrics. Things that matter to change or fix do usually take a long time.

It embraces everyone sharing their voice, their perspective. And, a lot of times, everyone singing together. It's communal, even if you think you sound bad.

A universal truth that I'm not surprised you understand. But yeah, it can be both, I can still preen just as much. Do you like the compliments you get as much as I like mine, or are we just going to be lopsided?

I guess it depends on the compliment. If you want to tell me I had a brilliant idea or plan, I won’t tell you no.

I've worn different hats, but only on jobs. I think I'll leave magic rather than ventriloquism as my circus act.

From demos, actually. There were a few floating around way back when I was recording that got the chance to listen to when I was just starting recording.

I think I might just stick with pulling real people’s strings. Though perhaps leaving a demon puppet behind in some houses would be amusing.

That makes sense. I don’t really know much about the recording process, and I imagine it’s changed a lot over time.

Honestly, I wouldn't know too much about it. That record was the only thing I've recorded. Once you're dead it's frowned upon to make too much of a spectacle of yourself.

I've known, very tangentially, one person who fell into that category and no, it didn't seem to end well for him. Though his publicity was still kept to just certain circles.

No, he stayed alive through other magics. Supposedly he's dead now, but who knows for sure when it comes to things like that.

Yes. Though I wouldn't call you shadowy, no matter only being awake at night. You have a brighter presence than that.
