The Jail Cell Meme

You are now trapped in a jail cell. You may or may not know why or how you got inside of it; having been teleported into one due to the fickle whims of a resident deity is just as acceptable as getting arrested. (Maybe because of this?) You also might be innocent. If you're innocent and confused then it really sucks to be you.

You have company. Their circumstances might be the same or different from your own. But you're stuck together for a while.

[Having just been escorted into the cell by the police, Clive is... actually pleasantly surprised by the decor in here. It suits his tastes very well. He's also just as surprised to discover that he's not the only one in here.]

[With all the crimes he's committed, it's strange that the police would feel comfortable placing him in a cell with another person. To be honest, Clive was hoping that he wouldn't have to deal with another person, either, but this man looks pleasant enough, so Clive is willing to wait before he passes any judgement.]

Outside, angels and demons and odder folk bustle about, and snorty old creaturemen peddle their wares and giant rotating statues yell at each other.]

It's impressive you're alive - the ale of Hell's rarely kind enough for hangovers in less demonic folk. Who offered?

It's one of those nights where he can't get out of doing rich, playboy billionaire things, and he only tolerates it because it's a slow night for being a vigilante. Tommy makes him go to this club for 'research' (and that's in quotes because he really doesn't actually care about nightclubs) and Laurel's with them, which is like torture for Oliver because he has to act like he's happy for them still.

He and Laurel were outside, waiting for Tommy to get his phone because he left it at the bar, and there was a creep who decided he liked Laurel and wouldn't leave her alone. So Oliver had punched him and that brought his friend into the fight and Laurel isn't really a damsel in distress and has saved his ass before.

So they both got cuffed when cops showed up two seconds later, and now they're downtown, waiting for someone to come and pick them up.]

Jenny had been looking around the cell since the moment she entered it. The last time she'd been caught like that, the escape had been ready at hand. She didn't think the solution would be quite so easy this time. It really hadn't been her fault, not that the men who had arrested her had believed that. She'd only been trying to help. She's immediately back on her feet and rushing them. The taser hits her and she stumbles, but stays on her feet. They slam the door shut.]
