/insert jail quote HERE
You are now trapped in a jail cell. You may or may not know why or how you got inside of it; having been teleported into one due to the fickle whims of a resident deity is just as acceptable as getting arrested. (Maybe because of this?) You also might be innocent. If you're innocent and confused then it really sucks to be you.
You have company. Their circumstances might be the same or different from your own. But you're stuck together for a while.
What do you guys do?

That's beyond irritating.
Sighing, Misa glances over out of the shadows and rolls to her feet, getting a bottle of water from where she'd stashed a few when they'd brought them to her.
Gently, her hand alights on his shoulder.]
Careful, my friend. Careful. Here, water.

However, considering that the prisoner in the cell across from theirs has spines, there is a part of his mind that niggles at his calm anticipation. What if it isn't that simple?]
Thanks.
[Taking the water, he holds it without opening it, watching their neighbor's slow pacing, musing on the occasional red glint when it turns its eyes toward them for a baleful glare before moving on.]
What did you do to end up here?

Why couldn't her current problem child live in New York with all the rest of them? A headache is slowly forming behind her eyes. She rubs a well-manicured hand over her forehead.]
I interfered when I probably should not have. Yourself?
no subject
Let's call it an intellectual property dispute.
[The spined creature stops in its pacing as though listening to their conversation and snorts derisively before it comes to the bars of its cell and points a clawed finger to its right.
Curious, Bruce stands up to see where it's pointing and finds himself meeting the gaze of a furred biped in the next cell over from the spiny creature.]
And... I'm guessing we're not going to be seeing the standard policĂa.

Misa bites her lip and tries to concentrate. She can't reach the Symphony at all.
SHIT.
That puts her in a bigger problem than she'd planned on being in. It also means that she needs to get out of here. Lucifer will not take it well that she's here.]
No, we won't be. There are...
[She walks over to the wall and touches it. Sigils flare along the stones, writings in various languages. Misa studies them.]
These people are very well versed in things they shouldn't be.
[Frustration is very evident in her voice.]
no subject
So, I'm guessing there's more to you than meets the eye. [Frustrated? No, more like furious on Bruce's part, but that would be hard to read from his demeanor.]
no subject
Especially herself. If she expends that amount of power, all four brothers would show up.
She frowns, seeing sigils she hasn't seen for... a century.]
I am not human, no.
[Amusement more than anything. A sigil flares brighter as she touches it.]
My name is Misa Almassy.
[She turns and offers him her hand, the sigil fades behind her.]
no subject
Bruce Banner. [He takes her hand briefly. Sure, it's all weird, but that's kind of the definition of his life.]
So you're stuck, I'm stuck, Quills over there is stuck. [Indicating their spiny neighbor.] The day just keeps getting better.
Do you have any thoughts on getting out? Anyone who'll be looking for you?
no subject
Well, my husband and my brothers-in-law will be. Eventually, which is the problem.
My Father would be as well.
[Unless this is some sort of Lesson she needs to learn. She hasn't done anything lately that requires incarceration. She hasn't even trapped anyone on the Seventh Plane lately.
... Except that one girl, but that had been necessary and no one would think otherwise. And it'd only been for three days!]
Unfortunately...
[She trails her fingers over another sigil.]
Masking sigil. They won't know I'm here.
