[No one thought that Pyro would make a very good sleeper agent. He was too headstrong, too brash, and far too prone to take offense and crack under his anger. But somehow he held out, and now he's slipping back into the mansion, ready to deliver his information.

Magneto has been given a false destination for the final showdown. Now the X-Men have about an hour to intercept his Brotherhood and try to stop them before they launch their attack.

Unfortunately, not all of the students who have been recruited for the fight were told that Pyro had left to spy and deliver lies to Magneto. So it's hard to say how Kitty will react to seeing him dart through the halls of the mansion after so long away, and when his destination reached the school rumour mill within minutes of his leaving.]

[ being locked in the tomb does not give katherine perspective. she views it more as a vacation; having stefan for a temporary amount of time had only amplified that feeling. being thrown into the tomb was scary and way too quiet for katherine, but it wasn't until she saw elijah that the fear of being alone crept to the surface and almost took her completely under. that, with all the noise and fear, was when she gained some perspective.

she's thankful for isobel being in town. despite being somewhat of her minion, the woman seems genuine. it's odd for katherine to be moved by such a thing, considering mason lockwood's feelings had been genuine towards her, too, yet she thought nothing of the man except for being an attractive, warm body and a notch on her body count post.

that's what drives her to impulsively go to isobel's house. it's a surprise visit, intended for isobel, but it shocks katherine with how overwhelmed she feels by the threat of potentially losing someone. she invites herself in after knocking on the door, her heels clicking loudly against the floor. ]

[ and if isobel thinks anything of it, katherine will merely blame the cobwebs that are obviously still leeching themselves to her body. being trapped in that quiet hell hasn't changed her at all, but it's smacked her in the face with how alone she is. another date with her drinking buddy seems in order. she's tired of throwing herself at stefan. ]

He's giving it ten minutes to catch a glimpse of a flashlight in the dark before he really pisses her off by heading into the trees.]
