First date

 -- You've never been out on a date before, so someone's decided to give you a helping hand.

 -- You're recovering from a painful breakup, but your friends/family think they found a great person for you anyway.

 -- Someone thought you didn't know your date. Turns out you know them from somewhere.
4. 

Hideously awkward

 -- Hey wait, that's your ex/boss/doctor/distant family member! Or, even worse, it's that person you absolutely despise. This will go well!
5. 

Existing partner

 -- You two are just acting like strangers to spice up your love life.
6. 

Future spouse

 -- Unfortunately, you have to have an arranged marriage. Fortunately, you get to meet that special someone for a date beforehand. How will the night go?
7. ...or, instead of rolling, come up with your own scenario!

4. Play out the date. This meme can be completely fluffy, smutty, or hilarious. If you don't want smut, you can put that in your subject. It doesn't even have to be romantic.

Bela tapped her foot on the sidewalk, checking her phone's clock for the umpteenth time. Standing half a block from the restaurant, she felt as though she were on display to the dinner patrons marching past. How could someone make her wait? It was a Thursday - she could have been having cocktails in the company of stock brokers in Battersea, not waiting around, sweating her makeup off, enduring the pitying looks of knowing girls. It couldn't get any worse.

And then she saw him.

[Suga doesn't usually do the blind date thing. He actually does that basically never. But his friends were so excited when they told him about how they'd found his "perfect match" that it seemed like it would be downright mean to say no. Suga isn't a stranger to casual dating, anyway. He just usually at least knows what the person looks like first. All he really knows are random little tidbits his friends hinted at, like "a gentle soul" and "loves kittens."

Based on that, when Suga enters the cafe, Makoto is... not exactly what he was expecting. The description he was given doesn't really prepare him for someone with broad shoulders and striking, almost chimerical eyes and probably at least 180 centimetres in height (though it's a little hard to tell with Makoto sitting down).

He recovers pretty quickly, though, and manages not to stare. Instead, he slides easily into the chair across from Makoto and offers his hand.]

Sorry for making you go to so much trouble. My friends can be pretty persistent.

He was not a man you could miss easily, hell he wasn't even a man you could hide from apparently. Even death hadn't found a way to stop him from showing up in Carolyn's life..well existence.

She thought this second time around things would be different, stay the hell away from space, keep things simple. She learned her lesson and still believed in helping but her heroics were smaller these days. For the first time in, she couldn't even remember how long, she'd agreed to meet up with a friend of a friend of a guy.

Now she was wondering if she could make it to the door of the bar before he noticed her.

[Honoka always meant well, when she set Kotori up on dates. As soon as her best friend found out she liked girls, not boys, she'd focused a good percentage of her boundless energy towards finding her "the perfect girlfriend~!". Sometimes the dates she set up were disasters, but sometimes they went well; it was just her crappy luck in romance that meant she was still single.

She sighed, looking at the cute cafe around her and trying to simultaneously not sulk and not get her hopes up. She was wearing a green ribbon in her hair as Honoka instructed, and the girl she was meeting was apparently a red head who would be wearing blue.

The girl who came through the door pinged something familiar to her, but it took a few seconds before she realized who it was; Nishikano-san's daughter. Their fathers did business together, and she'd met the girl a few times at company functions or dinner parties. Only as a courtesy, and they both had to stick too close to their parents to really talk, but she knew exactly who she was.]
