Nothing tests the strength of our relationships and our individual character quite like times of transition, and that goes double when that change involves another person. Sometimes, growing closer to someone means making sacrifices, adjusting our worldview, and compromising certain ideals for the sake of accommodating something new in our lives. Transition also means leaving behind a comfortable status quo, which is more challenging for some than for others.

For ages, flowers have been inextricably tied with love and romance. Some cultures set aside time to appreciate the transient beauty of springtime blossoms with family, friends, and loved ones. Others have canonized a tradition of gifting flowers to express feelings of love, sympathy, and gratitude, among other messages. And of course, flowers are just plain nice to look at. "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." It's a rule no one follows. Out there on the world wide web people are talking and it isn't very nice. Your character has been made aware (through printout, email, billboard, article, whatever) of the internet's most brutal commentary about them. How do they react?
1. Find or make up mean comments about your character! It's up to you if you want to break the fourth wall or not.
2. In the body of your comment your character is reading and reacting to mean things people have said about them.
3. Other characters chime in to commiserate, laugh, agree, etc!

 You know the drill from every nineties movie/tv show known to man, because apparently there were no doors in the nineties: you, oh poor you, are stuck up in your room, and then, a rock is thrown at your window! Why, who would do such a thing? No, it's not some kind of burglar coming in to steal all your...private room things, it's your childhood friend from next door (who totally has a crush on you/you're nursing a crush on), your free-spirited boyfriend or girlfriend, or another rebellious love interest who has a long, long ladder and no need for conventional entrances. Why are they here? To finally confess their secret feelings for you? Give you your first kiss? Sneak you away because your parents don't approve? Maybe they have a crappy home life and just need somewhere to stay. Whatever the case may be, open those window panes and get ready for sneaking in, sneaking out, and possibly making out.

Some characters don't have what others do, whether because they lost their relatives or don't connect with them for some reason. Things don't have to stay that way. Not when friends can become the family you make for yourself.

➜ comment with your character and info. no blank comments, however! instead, your character now sports the name of every person they've ever loved written visibly on their skin. consider canon, meme cr, game cr, headcanons and fanon, whoever you want can make the list! Some people will only sport one name; others, so many that you can barely count them.
➜ will they try to hide their new ink? what if someone on the list sees their name? could a forced confession be the newest obstacle that your character has to face? would they rather die than cop to those feelings?
