Everyone has to pay their way in life. Put bread on the table and take care of the dependents. The ol' 9-5, what a way to make a livin' etc. But what about you?



How to play-
Post to the meme with your character and any preferences as usual. Include what your character does to make ends meet, whether everyday or extraordinary.

Reply to others, using their job to set a scene. For example, a bounty hunter could be hired by or hunting your character.

Alternatively, discuss the job. How does one get into bounty hunting, anyway?

The Kissing Scars Meme
Despite the romanticism surrounding the emotion, it can be difficult to be loved completely — not just the beautiful parts of us, but also the sad parts, the injured parts, the hidden and less-than-pleasant parts. There are marks on us, both physical and mental, that we'd often rather forget. The mental ones can just be easier to hide. As for physical scars, they can be off of our minds some of the time, but that's exceedingly hard to do in more intimate, close moments.

Whether it's to your dismay or otherwise, your partner is not looking away and ignoring your scars. To the contrary, they're providing attention in a way most heavily associated with tenderness: kissing. It may be an accidental slip-off target, or they may be trying to show you that what you've done and who you've been don't matter to them now.

Does the gesture touch you? Make the walls come up once again because of the memories that are dredged from somewhere you'd rather no-go? A mixture of both?

The wound has long closed, yet the pains remain; these days, however, there's someone who may be willing to help you bear it.

  • Reply with the usual: canon, character, preferences, et al. You may also want to say if you're down for smut or not, since it's not a given.
  • Be sure to include what side you'd like your character to play. Mention if you can do both the kisser and the kissed.
  • Also, feel free to talk about your character's scars.

pure | impure

  • you're impure. you've done bad things, been a cruel person, or you've been terribly wrong, and you've seen what the world really is. maybe you're bad, or maybe your road to hell is paved with good intentions. whatever the case is, there's red in your ledger.

  • they're pure. almost innocent, even. they're kind and open and the very opposite of worldly. maybe they're not always good, no one is, but their heart is clean.

  • despite these differences, there's something between you. you shouldn't relate, you should be worlds away...

  • comment with your character. mention if they're more likely to be pure or impure.

  • reply to others.

  • use the rng to determine the direction of your thread or come up with your own direction.

  • light || the pure is affecting the impure in a positive way.

  • dark || the impure is affecting the pure in a negative way.

  • purposeful || you want to corrupt something so pure.

  • forgive || they know what you've done and they've forgiven you.

  • death || something comes up from the dark past and strikes out at the one loved the most. they know it would hurt you to see them in pain - or worse.

  • life || the smut option. will there be hesitance in "defiling" purity?

  • cheer || never again did you think that there would be simple joys. picnics, birthdays, gentle holding of hands.

  • confessions || you have to get them into your life; they're the only good thing you can see.

  • teach || one party is teaching the other about more worldly pursuits, may or may not be sexual. perhaps they feel guilty for this, perhaps they don't.

  • end || you can't do this to them anymore. they deserve so much better than you.
