 There's always a right tool for the job, be it as simple as a hammer for a nail or on up to the much, much more complex. In this, the near future, the new tool for the abstract, post-modern job is no longer from the humble tool box - it's robots. Robots have taken over most sectors, such as assembly, law enforcement, and even health care. Things run so much smoother when they're automated. Yet the most impressive factor is that robots have just recently begun to enter a sector previously believed to require human touch: the personal sector. From personal assistants to robo bodyguards to pleasurebots, most anyone who's anyone has a personal robot these days. Of course, humanity being the narcissistic charmers we are, all "companion" sector robots are made in our own beautiful image, or close to it. But you know this. You have a personal robot, after all...or you are one. Whether owner or robot, it's important to remember one key rule: robots, no matter how human they appear, cannot feel emotions. Any appearances thereof are programming in the AI. Robots certainly, absolutely, cannot fall in love. Again, any appearances thereof are programming in the AI.  One day, on a day not unlike this one, you wake up and the world is the same in every regard except one. All people now wear a list of sins written on their skin in black ink. Bold black ink. Permanent bold black ink. Scrub as hard as you might, you can’t remove that litany of vice that wraps around your body. We all do bad things sometimes. What remains to be seen, by everyone, is how long your list of hurts, grudges, and hatreds is. HOW TO PLAY - Include your character’s info and the sins that would be tattooed on them. - They have to interact with the population at large in that condition. - That this meme will include dark subject matter goes without saying. Just be chill, alright? |
- Don’t commit crime, don’t blank comment. Let us in on the secret of what your character is carrying, how they’re moving, what their mood is, etc.
- Someone could help them, ask where they’re going, chase them, any number of scenarios. The world’s your oyster. Just hope that you have long arms.
1. Post a comment with your character’s name, canon, and preferences in the subject line.
2. In the body of the comment, include a description, image, or gif of something from your character’s camera roll—this can be from their actual camera, a phone, GoPro, security cam footage, whatever! Just remember to warn and put it behind a link if you want to include actual NSFW images.
3. Whatever the source of the photos/video, it’s now being projected onto a big screen for everyone else to see. Feel free to include your character’s commentary/narration on what they’re seeing… or just their general reaction to having their private images blasted into other people’s eyeballs.
4. Grab some popcorn and tag into other people’s top-levels with your character’s reactions to their impromptu screening sessions!
 Riddle, riddle. People die for them. People kill for them. Nothing is stronger, yet they exist only in your mind. If you answered “beliefs,” you’re right on the money. So, will you put your money where your mouth is and tell everyone what you believe, Bakerstreet? RULES + Using the format of an “I believe” statement, in the subject line, your character declares the personal belief they hold the staunchest. + Then the season of agreements and arguments begins.
