hilariously, this isn't her first time dealing with this, so she'll actually know how to deal with this shit. she's a pretty ordinary teenager (unless you want to play her post-graduation, to which she's in college) at 5'2", who tends to be more serious than not, so acting more energetic is definitely going to be noticed by those around her. )

Would Noah like to become a god and a prosecutor for a day? He should be honoured. )

He would not like being a god, as much as I imagine Furina would not like being an overworked delivery man and babysitter. Do you want it to be set after 4.2? I can easily AU him to genshin lore. ]

A good amount of time has passed since the prophecy came and went, since the waters rose and fell leaving Fontaine with one hell of a cleanup to do. Which meant that he made more Mora than he ever had in his life, though it wasn't enough to lift him and orphange out of the slums - it was enough to secure enough funds to carry them through most of the year and put a nice little sum in their savings.
There was the deal with the former Hydro Archon, but Noah always thought himself so far removed from politics that she barely registered in his daily life. Afterall, what is a local celebrity to someone who travels for work? Still he knew that the loss of the nation's most beloved icon meant a big change for everyone, the children in particular hounded him for answers.
"As if I was involved in that mess." he thought to himself. At the very least, he had learned that Furina was still in Fontaine and - for the most part - left to her devices. If he dug and pressed the right person for answers, he could find out where she is but that'd be boorish. But changes, a lot had to be made.
One such change he was not expecting was to wake up...comfortably. No aches, no stiff shoulders, and no sore feet. Odd. Even odder was how everything seemed....slightly bigger? Not to mention the room is wider. No. No wait, this isn't his room. There's sunlight dripping through the curtains, which is impossible in the Court. Noah's brow furrowed as he stepped out of bed and went to the curtains, drawing them back and showing the city proper. How did he get here?
Looking down at his person, he sees a nightgown, small dainty feet and hands that are smooth and elegant. Something is wrong. He reached up for his hair and pulled it to his view, still white but what is this highlight? A mirror. He needs a mirror. Spotting the nearby dressed he rushed over, steps odd and off balance. He feels tiny, what's going on??? With eyes going to the mirror he suddenly found the answer, and more questions.
Silken milky white skin, white hair like his but highlighted with a soft sky blue, and heterochromatic eyes with droplet irises. "Oh." even his voice had changed. "Oh. Oh bugger." He was now Furina. At least he was still blonde.

Furina may have gotten used to a life of comfort, where her basic needs got met and she was protected, when she lived the life of an Archon. Nowadays, her little apartment is still just as comfortable, just a little less spacious. It's why she finds her back aching from the lack of proper springs on that mattress, her feet cold from how thin the blankets were, and just the general discomfort of her state prior to waking up.
She would have complained if not for being surrounded by children when she tried to find the first person to talk to. "Noah" seems to be her name now, and she slaps her face a couple of times to see if this is all real. Yep, it is. Don't mind the sore cheeks later though, Noah.
Strange as this predicament is, Furina is ready to take action and pretend everything is fine! Whatever Noah normally does in the morning? Cancelled! Work? Bah! Who needs to work. She's heading straight to her own apartment to see if this Noah has control of her body. Hopefully he hasn't done anything embarrassing with it! Her reputation's already been flushed down the toilet as is!
Though it probably seems like a strange sight to see— a tall man walking around with a bunch of children, all heading down one street and to one apartment in particular. She may have mentioned they're going to Lady Furina's house, so they're all very, very excited. One even runs to the door to knock on it already before Furina can even catch up!
Seriously... this body is so achy, she hates it.

He looked out at the city, still in Furina's nightgown since he's not sure how to change without compromising her dignity because he's pretty sure he knows where the real Furina might be. But he is enjoying not having any aches or pains in his body for once, he feels relaxed and loose even though its not his body.
Speaking of, glancing down the road he sees...himself. And the kids. He's partially impressed she managed to wrangle them, not to mention focused enough to make it somewhere without having to hunt down the few who stray or get distracted.
He hurried for the door, nightgown be damned, and greeted the first lad in the group. "Mornin' Jack." He said casually which causes the boy to become more exciteable. "Lady Furina knows my name!"
Ah. The look of dreadful realization cross his-her face. "Errr...uhh, ye-yeah. Noah's told me about you lot." And just as he looks at Furina, all the eyes of the kids turn to her as well. 'You're a great performer, play along.' Is what his eyes are saying.

There are definitely stares from other people out in the street, so as soon as the door opens, Furina places her hands on her body's shoulders to turn Noah around.
"Ahaha! Quickly now, we must go inside!"
Now, Furina can't exactly make a scene here with kids around, so she'll wait for the perfect moment to confront Noah about this whole situation. For now, she just gives Noah a knowing look. Deal with all of them. Do it.
"So, Lady Furina's going to give you guys something to do while we have a chat, alright? Make sure you do what she says."
no subject
"Uhhh...yeah. Ummm let me think of summin'." He says uncertain but attempting to coax an idea out of his head. "Hey! Lady Furina is talking like Noah!" "Yeah! And Noah is talking funny too!" Declare the children which quickly prompts Noah to think even faster.
"O-Oh! Uhhh!" Oh dear. "Macaroni!" He suddenly says. "There's a few boxes of macaroni in the kitchen! You tw-err-kids go get a couple, some glue, paper, and make something nice for La--I mean for me. We can get some paint to color it later." At the mention of making something for the former Archon, the kids cheer and rush inside, leaving him to look back at her with an awkward look. "Sorry. I'll...reimburse you for the macaroni once this fiasco is over and done with."
no subject
"Wait- you're going to use my macaroni for art?"
Ah, Furina catches herself as soon as she said that. It is a little too late, but at least it isn't within earshot of the children.
"Oh, you won't just be reimbursing me for the macaroni!" What about emotional damages? This is pretty scary, you know! Placing her hands on her hips (or rather, placing Noah's hands on his hips), she pouts at him.
"Who are you and what did you do to me?"
no subject
He's a simple boy from a simple place, and while he isn't stupid by any measure, swapping bodies is way out of his skills and paygrade.
"Besides, you and I have never met before today. How would I even have done this, if I could?"
no subject
"It shouldn't matter if we've never met before. I highly doubt there's a Fontanian who doesn't know me," Furina says, still a little annoyed. But she is trying to think a bit more logically now, so he shouldn't get too offended.
She thinks she needs a cup of tea, so she'll just make her way to the kitchen to grab a pot and fill it with water to heat. Surprisingly, reaching for the contents of her cupboard is a lot easier. Must be the longer limbs! She almost knocks another cup to the side, but salvages it before it falls to the floor.
Phew...
"Though I can't say I've ever heard of a phenomena like this before..." She sounds a bit more pensive now as the water starts to heat up. It'll take a couple of minutes before it gets ready.
"Tell me, Noah— I mean... Furina. Lady Furina?" Oh gosh, this is confusing and also inconvenient. She waves a hand dismissively. "Whatever. Are you acquainted with anyone who isn't human?"
no subject
And as much as he wanted to answer back, causing a scene infront of the kids wouldn't be wise. Especially when he knows that if they start crying everyone and their mother would hear it and rush on over to see her and him in a heated argument, and that'd be terrible.
So he waited and watched as she prepared her tea and returned, posing her question which prompted a raise of the brow. "Uhhh...a few melusines?" That's a no. He knows nothing of the sort. "Do you?"
This just seems like it'll be a fun time yknow?
He doesn't have time to feel groggy because when he opens his eyes, he's met with the lavishness that comes with Fontaine's usual architect. However, he feels like it's even more lavish than just a normal room. He sits upright and looks around himself. The large, canopy bed to the expensive furniture that lines the walls.] Uh oh. [The voice. There's a familiarity to it that has him quickly throwing the duvet off himself and swinging his...her? legs.
The cryo user doesn't waste time to run over to the vanity to look himself in the mirror.] Fuck. [He was definitely staring into a mirror and the reflection staring back at him was most definitely Fontaine's beloved Archon.
Wait. If he's here as her then that means...]
Oh, fuck.
what a wonderful idea that won't end in chaos
After much calming down... and tea. And cake. And Sigewinne's milkshakes, which happen to be a mistake, Furina has. . . regained her dignity and her bearings. Mostly, anyway. She asks Sigewinne to cancel all of Wriothesley's plans for today because he has something!! Very!! Important to attend to in the overworld.
An audience with the Hydro Archon.
At the very least, she can only hope that Wriothesley's. . . consciousness (?) is in her body, as strange as that may sound. That's the first thing she must confirm, anyway. And so, she heads up to the overworld, with a bunch of stickers all over her (his?) person. She'll try not to be too nervous— while she may not know the role she has to play as Wriothesley, she will at least, try to stay in-character.
Furina does not have her schedule memorised, however, so she must visit Palais Mermonia first. An attendant would likely be knocking on her door soon to inform her of this morning's meetings. A celebrity is always fully booked, after all, and have committed to important gatherings today. Such as: a taste testing session for Hotel Debord's newest recipe, a few visits from some Fontainians, and then a show at the opera house. ]
Sorry for the delay!!! I got swamped with deadlines/work and just only finished up.
Even if everything was somewhat of an ordeal.
Getting dressed was...It was a fun game of picking out Furina's outfit and committing the garments to memory and then trying to change with his eyes clothes. Regardless of this not being of his own doing, he can't really say he wants to find out what would happen if it was known he had undressed her (himself) and saw even just a little bit too much skin. He doesn't want to rot in his own prison and he certainly doesn't want to die for his crime of indecency. It's too bad that getting dressed like that with unfamiliar clothes is a lot harder than he thought. It took him three times to stop putting her (his!!!) shorts on wrong and by the time he is fully dressed, he's exhausted.
The more exhausting part was stepping out of his room and into the public. Wriothesley, despite Fontaine's people being into theatrics, hated being in the spotlight. He much prefer not be noticed. This was not exactly possible as the Hydro Archon.
What more, he had to act the act. He is familiar with Furina's dramatic ways of being, but pulling it off was another thing completely. He thinks he's doing okay as he puts as much bravado and shoos off the attendant at hand. He speaks that she must hurry to Palais Mermonia and that there is someone she must see!!! It is of most importance that she does!!!!!
Of course, he can't imagine Furina in a better spot. After all, she was in his body.
...Right?
The warden feels a headache coming already and he can't help but find himself worrying. Not a lot of people are too familiar with him. He kept to himself often, and he was someone who could slip into Fontaine's crowd without being noticed much. While Furina's personality was well known to her people, he was more of a mystery. He hoped that she wouldn't suffer too much. The Fortress was not exactly a welcoming place and it was a far cry from the splendor that was the city of Fontaine.
He is relieved to see the familiar sights of Palais Mermonia come to view. He bursts through the door with as much unnecessary force the small woman's body can offer.] Do not worry about my schedule. As the Hydro Archon, sometimes one must make unexpected visits after all. I certainly am in need of doing that this instance! [Wait. When has the Hydro Archon ever called him to the surface??? She hasn't. Would asking now be weird?
Damn it.]
It's all good! No worries <3
Hopefully giving one of the gardes a hi-five on his way up to the overworld is something he would do.
It doesn't seem like many people actually know who he is, as he walks the streets of the lower ground of the court, though. Those who do know who he is give him attention— stare at him as he walks past, and Furina does not give them a wave or anything, but a stern look with his chin held up. The less interaction Wriothesley has, the better.
Her hands— rather, Wriothesley's hands— are shaking when she steps into the highest level of the Court of Fontaine, after some time. Hopefully Neuvillette won't show up when he steps in. She'll just have to pass through the secret way to her suite— wait, that makes no sense. No one else knows about it, so Wriothesley wouldn't know how to get to her!
The front door it is. A nod to the Melusine in front, before she heads inside.
There she is. There he is? Either way, that's her body! How does she even get "Furina's" attention now?
By walking with all the confidence in the world, not even minding the looks she's receiving, because that's the Duke barging into the Palais right now. ]
Lady Furina.
[ A curtsy— a low and exaggerated one. They make eye contact, and she gives the Archon a very pointed look. Please, please, get them to a more private room right this instant. ]
no subject
Well, that helps assuage some of his anxiety. It looks like Furina had gotten here without too much trouble. He doesn't want to think about what she might have done in the short timespan of being in his body and the trek from the Fortress to here, but he could deal with that once they were hopefully returned to their original bodies.
He clears his throat, realizing he needs to respond and put on the usual dramatic bravado that is well known to come from the well-loved Archon.] Why if it isn't the Duke! Just the man I wanted to see. I hope you are honoured to know that I have cleared my schedule for you today. [He doesn't even know what was actually on Furina's schedule. It doesn't matter.]
Come now, let us speak more privately. I expect no one to interrupt us, do I make myself clear? [He's sweating. How does Furina handle being in the public eye like this? He's already exhausted.
Still, he gestures grandly at the other to follow him (telling the Archon what to do is really disarming), to a private meeting room.]
no subject
Wherever it is that "Furina" goes, the Duke follows. Admittedly, they've got some spectators, but it's not like it's anyone's place to tell the two what to do. It might be the man in Furina's body leading the way, but it's Furina in Wriothesley's body who makes sure the door is locked once they're away from earshot of others.
But she doesn't even know what the heck to even say. There's a lot to complain about: how heavy his clothes are, how far away the Fortress is from the overworld, amongst other things. But she also knows that Wriothesley isn't somebody she can talk to in that capacity. They barely even know each other! If anything, Furina has to remain professional despite the situation she's in.
It is why she clears her throat and takes command of the situation as best as she can. ]
You're Wriothesley, are you not?
[ Please say you're actually Wriothesley, and not some other person in her body. None of this makes sense, but she simply cannot have it that there is a third or fourth person in this picture. ]
no subject
Miss Furina. [He does fnally give her a bow, not forgetting his manners even in their current situation.] You're correct. It looks like we've swapped bodies.
[He pulls out a chair for her to sit. Maybe it's best that they sit. He doesn't know how long this was going to take and he gets the feeling that they're going to have a lot to talk about. At the moment, he doesn't know how they can get back in their own bodies and he isn't so sure Furina knows herself.] I'm going to go out on a limb and say that neither of us know how to return to our own bodies.
[Might as well get this out of the way, right?]
IM HERE IM SORRY
Out of everything that has happened the past centuries, I cannot say anything like this has happened before. It's truly inconvenient.
[ She can't even begin to imagine what excuse to tell Neuvillette if he were so close to finding out about this situation. ]
But we cannot return to our bodies, presumably, unless we know more about this... erm, incident.
[ Surely collecting data would do some good, right? Furina takes a seat on one of the setees. ]
