THE PUPPY MEME

The characters are locked in a room full of puppies! The puppies are immortal and cannot be damaged in any way, if you so much as wave your arm at them with hostile intent, it will pass right through them like a hologram or illusion. On the other hand, they also don't seem to need to use the bathroom either, so at least you don't have to worry about cleaning up after them.

That's it, that's the meme. Locked in a room full of puppies. The door will unlock after an hour or two and the characters will be free to leave... if they want to. Feel free to replace the puppies with whatever cute fluffy animal you deem appropriate: Bunnies, kittens, fancy rats (RATS ARE CUTE DON'T AT ME), foxes, ferrets, etc.

It's all text messages and Facebook entries these days, isn't it? Maybe you're from a time or a world where letters are still being written or maybe you're just saying fuck it to your computer and your phone and to the fast paced contact methods of modern day society. Write a letter to someone you rarely see or can't for whatever reason see right now, because of distance or maybe personal issues that are more easily addressed on paper anyway. Come on, you don't need an excuse, just write that damn letter!

How to play -

1. Top-level with your character. Include prefs and the like, if you wish.
2. Others now leave a comment with a letter their character has written yours.
3. Have your character respond, then go tag around as you wish.
4. Be entertained!

Building up new CR can be hard, especially if you're unsure who's interested, or if you're just a little bit shy. Behold a meme designed specifically to get around that.

THE TAG (THREE) NEW PEOPLE MEME

Step One - Post your character, include a prompt if you want, and note your preferences for the random generator part of the meme. Note this meme is designed for any new CR, so while limiting certain aspects of the meme (no to certain prompts, only certain types for sex/shipping, etc) there should be no "canons/ocs/girls/boys only"!

Step Two - Go back three tags above you. If you've never tagged the character you land on, and they have no existing tags on their thread, roll up a prompt and tag them with it. Continue and do this two more times. If you hit the end of the meme, loop back around. If you get caught in an infinite loop, either wait for a new tag-in, or go by every other comment instead.

Step Three - If you can't find someone who hasn't been tagged and you haven't played with, it's fine to tag someone who has been. If you can and you still want to tag a tagged person, go ahead, just don't count it to your three.

Step Four - If you want to, you don't have to stop at just three. Keep looping (or come back later when others have tagged in) as often as you like!

ALTERNATE CHALLENGES
-Tag three characters whose players you do not know.
-Tag three characters whose canons you do not know.
-Tag three characters who you usually wouldn't tag.

As in a crossover meme, this is for tagging people you haven't before. You don't have to strictly follow the tagging pattern if you see other new people you'd like the excuse to tag, but this time is not for tagging people you've had more than one thread with!
