Not surprisingly, this was not the first time Jackal's heard something like this. Her stare was like the judgement of all the Kings and Queens of hell rolled up to a pair of eyes. Even worse was the unnerving stillness of her entire body, like she was focused intently on whatever she was staring. In reality, Jackal's thought drifted and, without realizing, she was doing this age-old habit of staring. It took her that comment to get her to understand that she was staring like that again.

"Ah," she began softly, changing the look of her eyes and eyebrows to be less intense. "Why? Is it a problem?" She added after, her voice as low and calm as it always was.
