Arranged Marriage Turned More


To have and to hold, you said, till death do us part, all while the sharp, swinging pendulum of obligation hung overhead. But how could you have truly meant those words? This union has been tainted from the start, forever bearing the chains of an arranged marriage. It would be understandable if you couldn't bear to look at your new life partner, eternal reminder of your stolen future that they are, much less like them.
Much less love them...

Still, things can change.

You could realize that they are in the same boat as you or, that when compared to others around you,
they are the lesser of evils. Perhaps you even open up to the idea of a friendship; at the very least,
an alliance may be in order to become a power couple in a perilous world. From that innocent decision or sense of self-preservation, a new feelings sparks. Something like affection.

Something, you realize in the wake of speeding heartbeats, like love.

Will you acknowledge this? Can the two of you have a happily ever after - happier than if you'd met in another fashion - or will you hold firm in your distaste?

- IDEC where you set your threads, it's wide open. Fantasy world with hairy hobbits, old-timey lands, future AUs, do a space marriage for all I care. I'm sure they're still getting married in Star Wars or whatever.

The Highly Inappropriate Sexual Tension Meme

Touches. Glances. Sides brushing, so close to each other. The moment is, most likely, quiet, subdued, and calm. Or it could be loud and full of life, right in the middle of a vivacious party. Yet, no matter the case, your blood is pumping - no, nearly boiling with the passion bubbling between you and your companion.

Unfortunately, this sexual tension is completely and absolutely out of line. Whether it be the place, the time, your relationship with the person (be that literal relation or power difference, age difference, experience difference, and so on), your own lack of knowledge, or personal convictions, you should not act on any building desires.

But here's the thing about tension: it builds. It builds, and it builds, until...

Well, even subtlety can come to an inappropriate head.

HOW TO PLAY
  • This meme isn't for smut, though smut is allowed. What it is for is the delicious, anticipatory build up and the dances people can do to deny attraction. Foreplay, especially creative foreplay, is encouraged.

back to nature
Despite the efforts of generations of starstruck poets to the contrary, the sublime beauty of nature needs no description. It has the ability to take your breath away, humble you with one panoramic scene. You're getting just a taste of that power today - though the fact that you're not alone in the face of Mother Earth and that you and your partner are getting...well, let's say "back to nature" probably helps overwhelm all your senses. No one but the heavens above can see you, whether you make love in the heart of the forest or fuck out torrid emotions on the side of the harshest mountain. There's nothing more primal than this.

Some ideas, if we may:
  1. This secret little natural nook is the only place you can get away from prying eyes.
  2. The quest calls, yet so does your passion. You and your companion must make due as your travel through perilous terrain.
  3. Backwoods have long been accepted as makeout central for teens and all in-betweens.
  4. You have no home. You need none, as long as you have your lover's arms and the night wrapped around you.
  5. Gardens have high walls, your heart even higher ones. They've managed to scale both.
  6. Your love for them deserves to be consummated in the most beautiful place on earth.
  7. A day's work won't be ruined if you put aside your tools and relieve other tension.
  8. Oops, you've found yourself in a rainstorm and a glen or a cave is your only shelter. Better use that body heat to warm each other, too.
  9. Forbidden lovers cannot risk discovery. The wily, windy moors tell no tales.
  10. Speaking of the moors - you're eloping or something equally gothic and Romantic. Why wait until you reach the next sign of civilization?
  11. There's a magic, pure or dark or something all mixed, in these trees. They're old, very old, and they tell the tales of fairies, nymphs, elves, and werewolves. Will you hope to ensnare such a creature? Alternatively, the craggy hills and mountains tell of orcs, goblins, dwarves, and vampires. Perhaps one will lure you into their cave.
  12. You're a dirty hippy, you don't need an excuse to sex it up outside.
  13. Choose your own adventure!

It's only a dream  
wake up, wake up, it's only a bad dream meme

bad dreams are ordeals, sometimes seemingly endless. when you wake up, your heart pounds, your head hurts, and you end up drenched in sweat. even if you know none of it was real, it takes a while to orient yourself.

it is pretty nice to have someone there to wake you up or to soothe you out of it and remind you that...

it's only a dream.•••
