![]() Of all the places in this world, there's nowhere worse you could be than where you are now. You're in hell - metaphorically or literally - and laying down and just dying seems more and more like the valid action to take. But you can't go any lower and death could be a no escape. There's only one thing keeping you from being a jaded, broken husk: you've fallen in love with someone who shares this fate. It's a love so different than the norm, that only those who've known this desolation can fathom. Perhaps they give you hope, they're an innocent worth keeping safe, they showed you unexpected kindness, or they're simply something to cling to. No matter what, you'll protect them and you wouldn't dream of leaving this place without them. They will leave, though... ...even if you don't. ☣ COMMENT. INFO. | Most societies have certain mores that are unspoken rules; humanity itself even has such conventions, grilled subconsciously into our minds for our own safety. Don't go out alone at night. Avoid getting wet when it's cold. Don't pick fights with those stronger than you...okay, some of us missed the boat on the last one, but the point still stands. Society's rules tend to be more variable, though they apply to most aspects of life - including sex. In fact, bending the rules on what's considered acceptable in romance and sexual encounters can lead to anything from ostracization to death, depending on the time and culture. So, play it close to the chest if you're going to do a big, big, big t a b o o. Is it worth the risk? ![]() - Comment with your character and preferences. ![]() There's nothing wrong with wanting to play out some cute, fluffy interaction. So break out the butterflies in the stomach, the hand holding, the love confessions, the NOTICE ME SENPAIS, and all the adorableness you can stomach - no matter if if fits your character perfectly or not. It's all about characters getting comfortable with each other while being total goobers and showing love. It's shameless, sure, but it's fun!

Everyone has their own story, whether they're the protagonist or some measly side character, and people want to hear yours!
Just post a description of yourself in the title and let those crazy anons ask you questions.
![]() strangers like me ( a possible feral AU meme ) Since you were young, you know you've been different, even if you didn't fully understand how. And it's more than a normal, healthy feeling of youthful isolation, because somehow, someway, you were cut off from your kind and grew up as the only one. Perhaps you had to go your life alone, though if you were lucky, you could have been taken in by another species and raised by them, as they took pity on you. It's possible that you were raised in conditions most would consider "wild," even barbarous or animalistic, and certainly not befitting someone of your kind. Of course, you don't know that. You don't even think there are others like you. Until someone like you falls into your life, by chance, by accident, or by design. At first, you go full-tilt into learning everything about this mysterious stranger and all they know about your mutual people. All these wonderful concepts, these worlds you've never dreamed of! Most importantly, now you know you're not alone. Then, things change. Your focus begins to shift to this person, more than just the information they can provide. You can't help but notice their features, so much like yours. Whenever they're around, you feel so much lighter and happier. Your heartbeat quickens. You want to see them smile. Why do you have this growing need to be beside them? You don't understand any of this and, hopefully, you're fine with that as long as you get to learn more and stay with this person, this link to your past...and your future. ʜᴏᴡ ᴛᴏ ᴘʟᴀʏ
