There's nothing wrong with wanting to play out some cute, fluffy interaction. So break out the butterflies in the stomach, the hand holding, the love confessions, the NOTICE ME SENPAIS, and all the adorableness you can stomach - no matter if if fits your character perfectly or not. It's all about characters getting comfortable with each other while being total goobers and showing love.

[Halfway through Naoto's second to last class, she'd gotten a text from Yosuke that seemed almost incoherent at first, but after a moment's puzzlement revealed itself to be a riddle.

It didn't take long for Naoto to realize what it was and where she was to go, and her last class was almost torture, wondering why Yosuke wanted her to go there of all places.

Finally, she was done, and after a momentary stop-off at home to change clothes into something slightly better-looking and drop off her school things, she arrived at the requested spot, a curious look on her face.]

[That was part of the point, puzzling her. Making her figure out where to go and what to do with the garbled mess of a riddle he'd written. Though she has to admit his riddles are getting better. And they should be after how long he's been sending them her way.

And he's waiting for her when she arrives. He makes sure to be there early and leaning nonchalantly on a wall to watch for her. And when he spots her Yosuke is more than happy to push away from the wall and wrap his arms around her waist from behind. His chin resting lightly on her shoulder.]

I see you got my message.

[As observant as Naoto usually is, she's startled when he comes up to her, squeaking a bit and stiffening, but only for a second before she realizes who it is. Actually snuggling back against him for a moment, she smiles, blushing slightly.]

Certainly. It was actually a good challenge. Took me longer than your last one.

[Which is actually a high compliment from her.]

Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you.

[Ah that's not so bad though once she realizes it's him. There are few things he likes better than having her cuddle up close. And he presses a quick peck to her cheek.]

Thank you, I had a really good reason to get better quickly.

I was just startled. Do not worry.

[She turns around, grinning up at him and leaning up to kiss his cheek as well.]

Good. So what did you have in mind for today? I did come here as you asked.

I guess I need to stop sneaking up behind you.

[He grins pressing his forehead to hers.]

I was thinking about a nice dinner and a movie since I have you out.

I should be more perceptive.

[She smiles softly, blushing a bit. She's getting used to being affectionate in public, and honestly she rather likes it more than she wants to admit.]

That sounds lovely. I'm not sure what movies are out, actually.

Or I should give you a warning next time.

[But he does really like the way she blushes. It's cute as hell.]

[She stands on her tip toes and kisses his cheek again, finally pulling back and taking his hand in hers.]

[Well. This town is pretty different from the usual. People here seem bored, but it's definitely not like the city...

Minako's skimming through Junes, music loud enough to hear over her headphones. She should find someone to explain what's going on to her...]

[ He's still mad that they let that idiot Kimizuki drive (and not him). What's worse is that the dumbass has gotten them lost, so they've pulled over to rest for the night. Try to keep a low profile or whatever in case horsemen or vampires popped up.

Yuu's taken first watch, though it's more sitting in the back of the jeep with his eyes peeled on the road for any sort of movement. Yoichi's long since conked out, their useless driver with him, and he's not sure if Shinoa's faking it or not. He glances at her once and props his chin against the edge of the door, ready to melt into the floor from boredom. There's a blanket piled between them, some spare they'd found under the seat, and Yuuichirou fidgets, rolling his eyes to look at it and Shinoa again. Why did she have to be so-- Girls were just too much trouble. And so confusing!!!

... but it'd be real easy to get closer to her like this if he wanted to. All he had to do was reach out and touch her hand, maybe brush her fingers with his. And when he blinks, he's already shifted in his seat, hovering and holding his breath. His heart feels like it's going to drop right out of his chest, and Yuu's an inch from losing his mind when she breathes or moves or does something. He jerks back, gut reaction to grab a fistful of that blanket and throw it over her.

[The mall in De Chima is stupidly large.

It's bright there, though, and it's a comfortable temperature. And he even got one of those silly, gaudy drinks at the starbucks on the way in. So he's all right. It's fun hanging out with Maya, too, letting her chat away as she leads him around. She doesn't seem to mind if he's not quite as talkative, and she doesn't demand anything of him, either. He's carrying two of her bags and one of his own, hanging by their plastic handles from one of his wrists.

They're standing on the escalator, and whenever he gets a chance (when she's not looking in his direction) he might sneak a look at her face. She looks happy. It suits her.]

[Of course she doesn't mind; she's always been the talking pioneer with her friends, because even though Phoenix can put up a conversation, Edgeworth sure can't. She's never minded having someone actually there to listen to her babble on, to share the light that she's finding in the day. It's a fun experience, hanging out with even the quietest of people.

But she appreciates Riku's company especially, because he isn't afraid to joke around with her. It's comforting and reminds her of closer friendships, of home, and it's charming for one thing. He's charming.

Humming as they wait on the escalator to reach its destination, she bounces on her toes impatiently and looks up at him, just catching the end of his look at her, suspecting nothing and smiling just as bright.]

So, you got anywhere you wanna hit up?

[While trips like this are usually Maya just dragging people along, it's not like she's not going to make a plan to stop where he wants to if there's somewhere Riku wants to go.]

[He blinks, then smiles quietly himself. She's infectious. He leans against the rail, looking out over the lower floors.]

I haven't decided yet.

[Riku doesn't really go shopping besides getting groceries or a few clothes every now and then.]

I... thought about going to the bookstore. But if that's boring for you, I can do it another day.

Hey, wow, I like books, too, y'know.

[She pretends to be offended, though it's not very convincing considering her grin, and swats his arm gently.]

We can totally go to the book store. I wanna see if they have some new comics in, anyway.

[He laughs, taking the awkward step off the escalator and waiting for her.]

Really? What do you read?

[dude reads everything.]

Okay, mostly I read comicbooks.

[She'll admit to that.]

But I read normal books too! Comics are just more fun.

That's fair. [He nods, considering it.] Well, let's do that, then.

Allllright! This way!

[She remembers, it seems, where the bookstore is from here, and grabs Riku's arm to lead him.]

I think it was this way last time, anyway.

Well, it wouldn't have moved.

[He doesn't need to be led, necessarily, but he doesn't mind so much. She's just enthusiastic. Plus she's cute, so there's that, too.]

I should do something with these bags...

Yeah?

[She looks back at him for a second, eying the bags and hesitating. He's right, they should probably find a solution for that before they go anywhere else.]

Hm. Here, give me one and... let's see if these two don't fit in the same bag.

[It's not very weighty, but a number of bags can always be cumbersome, and cumbersome stuff means less time to have fun, clearly. So she holds out her hand to see what they can manage.]

[Riku shakes his head, then tilts it in the direction of a weirdly-lit hallway nearby, which is the way to the bathroom.]

No, come over this way.

[He leads her over, where less people will notice what he's about to do -- if he uses this power out in the open, they're just going to be bombarded with natives. So instead, once he's got his back to the bigger hallway, he opens a (super-scary-looking) portal and lowers them inside, then closes it.]

They're at my house. We'll just stop and get them when we leave.

[As Maya watches, her eyes widen, and she peers close at the portal.]

--Whoa!

[Yeah, color her impressed. Impressed and... well, intimidated. The portal looks frightening, but to say she's scared would be lying; after all, why should she be anything but safe if she's with Riku?

So after her moment of intimidation she relaxes, letting her shoulders drop (though she hadn't realised they'd tensed) and looking his way again.]

You're just full of surprises today, aren't you?

[He isn't sure what to say about this power -- he knows how intimidating it is, but he uses it so often with his job that he doesn't even blink anymore. Honestly, it should be threatening, though. He doesn't want anyone to think that they can use it to travel.

He looks over at Maya, who is coming out of her stiffness, and he shrugs.]

Yeah, I guess. Just silly to lug a bunch of crap. And I'm not going to spend money on a locker if I don't have to.
