So you're at a bar. Or a club. Or a Starbucks. Or the post office. You get my point.

Anyway, you're just minding your own business when all of a sudden, this blonde guy in a (well-pressed, expertly tailored) suit comes up to you and announces that he's gonna be your wingman. Without waiting for a response, he finds the closest ( moderately attractive ) nearby citizen and says to them,

"Hi! Have you met Ted?"

Except it's not Ted. It's you. How in the world does this dude know your name? Unfortunately, you don't get to find out, because — wait, where did that guy go, anyway?

Great. Now you're faced with the more pressing matter of smalltalk with the unwitting target. You can always walk away, or... or maybe you can believe in the divine cosmic powers of Barney Stinson.

Who knows? This night could be legen — wait for it — dary.

With all credit to seacups. They let me do this like the shameless thing I am. No disrespect meant to the original, I just thought this subject matter would be inappropriate for a SFW/all ages meme.

Incest between twins is a subclass of sibling incest and includes both heterosexual and homosexual relationships. While in modern Western European culture, such behavior is considered taboo and is quite rare, incest between twins is a common feature in Indo-European, Asian (such as Japan, the Philippines, and Bali) and Oceanian mythology, and there are a few societies in which the prohibition on it is limited or it is partially accepted [Wiki].

For your whole life, you've been a one-of-a-kind. Maybe you've had siblings, but your siblings are different or older or younger. Nobody quite like you, nobody exactly close.

Or has it been like that? Don't you have someone closer than a regular sibling - a twin?

In this meme, you do! You're a twin. And not only that, but you're...close. Closer than close, actually, in ways the outside world might not understand. It may be a misconception, or you could actually be inappropriately involved; yet in the end, you still have each other, just as you started with. And who needs anyone else? You two don't.

HOW TO PLAY

AU your character into being a twin. It will probably be fraternal twins so you can account for differences in appearances and/or gender.
You can age characters up or down to be the same age.
Otherwise, comment with character information and then tag others.

Some people might call it the witching hour, but here at WMBS we like to think of it as Shout-Out O'Clock. For the next hour we'll be playing nothing but your musical dedications. Is there a special someone out there that you haven't told how you feel? Now's the chance -- call on in and request that perfect song that'll let them know you're grooving on them. Angry at someone and can't find the right words to express it? We can help you out. Do you and your bestie have an anthem that you just can't get enough of? Neither can we, and we've got it at the touch of a button. Ever thought up the perfect theme song for one of your buddies or coworkers but never got around to telling them about it? We'll tell them for you! Here at WMBS we aim to please -- and we do it commercial free.

SUDDENLY, TRIBBLES!

Stop whatever you were doing because there are suddenly tribbles all over the place. They're in your closet, on the bed, on the walls (how do they get on the walls??), even in your coffee cup! What are tribbles, you ask? A tribble, or Polygeminus grex, is a small, non-intelligent lifeform originating from Iota Geminorum IV. They make soothing cooing sounds when touched which has a tranquilizing effect on the human nervous system. Unfortunately, they're also born pregnant and can reproduce rapidly with sufficient food, able to bear a litter of ten every twelve hours. Just one, left unchecked for two days, could produce up to 480 tribbles by itself! Unless it's really cold. Tribbles can't reproduce in cold temperatures.

So, yeah. Have fun with that.

Others, they whispered across white pillow cases as bodies lie close together in the dark. Of course, these feelings may not be returned, but it may be the only shot you have.

How to Play
- Comment with your character, putting your information and preferences somewhere in the comment.
- Comment to other characters. Roll the RNG to get your prompt, or pick one.
- Play out the scene and take it whatever direction you'd like.
- Be cute and fun or sad and depressing.

1. Planned: You've been planning to tell this person how you feel, and you know exactly the way to do it.

2. Spontaneous: Uh-oh, it just slipped out! Maybe you weren't thinking, maybe it was a fight, but somehow, your secret's out.

3. Heat of the Moment: What's better than calling someone's name out in the trows of passion? Why, telling them you love them, of course!

4. The Last Time: You're coming clean with your feelings because you're dying, moving away, leaving the planet, going to war, whatever. Might as well when you'll probably never see them again.

5. Jealousy: You've seen the one you love in the arms of another, and you just have to let your feelings be known so they don't end up with the wrong person! Selfish, what's selfish?

6. Drunk: A drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts, so maybe you should be careful what you say, or you'll be telling your best friend you have the hots for her. Awkward.

7. Lie: You don't actually have feelings for this person, but you need them to believe that you do in order to use them, get something, or perhaps to not hurt their feelings.

8. Sweet: You confess...and they feel the same, and have wanted to say it for a while. Oh, how cute! Go on and enjoy your cute little romance.

9. One-sided: One of you confessed, but it's completely unrequited. Can you still be friends, or is that too painful?

10. Forbidden: Your love for this person is totally uncool - not allowed, even. But it has to be brought to light, preferably by you.

11. Unfulfilled: While you both love each other, you decided mutually that this can't go any further.

Love and shipping memes are nice, but sometimes, they take themselves waaaay too seriously. You know what's just as fun? Playing first loves and first silly, silly crushes. Usually relegated to the young, but not always (after all, there are plenty of people who are young at heart or stunted), these little affairs may not last forever yet nothing beats them in enthusiasm.
