thelongcon, why do you even allow comments on these posts? it's the same shit almost every time, and if someone has corrections, they can pm you.

The main reason is that I don't have PMs open to anons (and I don't intend to do so), and until recently the commenting hasn't been an issue with these posts.

I could make it so that commenting is off with these posts in the future, but deleting anything from here now feels like hiding that this has already happened. (And sometimes, very rarely, there are actually constructive ideas that seem to come of it?)

I'm happy to continue this discussion through PM, but it's not going to have any degree on anonymity. This post is also an option for anon discussions with me.

I apologize for what you see as encouraging wank, but that has never been my intention.
