DRAW RP MEME

Here's the gist.

1. Post a comment with your character.
2. Draw something, and either leave it as a prompt with your post, or use it to prompt something else.
3. Draw something in return to the drawings people leave you.
(Think comic panels, one at a time, back and forth).
4. Rinse, Repeat, enjoy.

By its nature this is a slow meme, but don't worry about making the drawings perfect! Feel free to draw in Microsoft paint with your character as a stick figure, if you like. No one will judge you on your drawings so make them as crappy or as pretty as you like.

Genre is completely open, but if you end up doing smut threads please keep the images PG or put a link that needs to be clicked on to show the image, rather than embedding them.

Have fun!

The Caught in the Act Meme

Almost everyone masturbates, it's nothing to be ashamed of. It's also something most prefer to keep private. But sometimes, people forget to knock while we're in the middle of things, and awkwardness (or something else) ensues.

* Post with your character with name, series, and and preferences in the subject line
* Reply to others as if you're catching them in the act or being caught
* Play out reactions from there and have fun!

the communications between times and worlds meme.
a shipping meme

How you began the communication doesn't matter. Maybe your letter got misplaced in the mail. Perhaps you wrote in a magic book and someone wrote back. What about the internet? Maybe your "letter" was a misdirected email. Whatever the case is, you've begun writing to this total stranger.

But they're not a total stranger any more. You've begun to learn about them - or at least what they tell you about themselves - and you almost feel as if you know them personally. Your correspondences become the highlights of your day. No one you know is quite as fun to talk to, nor do they understand you nearly as much. In fact...

...no, there's no getting around it. You're beginning to have feelings for your pen pal, despite the fact that you've probably never seen them. All you know them on is their words, but isn't that more true than appearances, in some cases? Your emotions for them are strong, whatever those emotions are, and you want to meet them. Could they feel the same way about you? If you ask, they may tell you as much. Then there's nothing to stop you from finally meeting and being together, right?

Well, except for the fact that this whole time, you've been writing to someone who's in a completely different time and world than you.

RULES
- This is a shipping meme with a twist: the people involved have never actually met and talk through written correspondence. Their relationship grows through that.
- This meme is specially designed for cross-canon shipping.
- All threads, except those using prompts 6 and 7, assume that characters are communicating through their writing. The fun is showing how they'd express their feelings through words, without body language that usually exists in memes.
- Yes, some characters would lie. You can play with that, too.
- Comment with your character and preferences.
- Reply to others.

(SORT OF) PROMPTS
1. Getting to know your pen pal.
2. The relationship deepens, talking about the good and the bad.
3. They're the only one you can talk to about these things.
4. Confessions through the written word.
5. Planning on how to meet - is there anything you can do to bridge the gap?
6. Finally meeting in person - excitement all around.
7. They're not exactly what they said they were. Do you still care for them?
8. First time - obligatory smut option. OR a dirty correspondence.

THE MORNING AFTER MEME
WITH AN ANON TWIST

Hey, last night was great. You drank, you gambled, you ran around naked, somebody talked you out of lighting a bonfire in the yard, you hooked up with somebody or three—too bad you can't remember it, though. Waking up someplace unfamiliar isn't so bad but...

Who is this person next to you?

RULES:
1. Post with your character.
2. Anon chooses your partner in crime based on your preferences and assigns you a journal to tag or to be tagged by.
3. Play out a thread. Try and piece the night together—or not. Up to you!
4. Anything goes, so long as the players involved are cool with it.
5. ???
6. PROFIT.

THE DOMESTIC SMUT MEME

Ah, home sweet home. There's nothing quite like it, whether your place is a roomy house in suburbia with a white picket fence, a little shack, a space station outside Jupiter's orbit, or a cold stone castle. It's yours, where you feel safest (...hopefully) and most, well, at home! Here, in your own kingdom, you can do what you want: take your shirt off, get rid of your shoes, and eat the grossest food available just because you can.

...and also have lots and lots of sex, for there's someone here you can always fuck.

Not only has your character found themselves in the home they want - not the one they were born into, forced to live in, or otherwise - they're also domestic...er, as much as certain people can be, which is perhaps not at all. But worry not, the meme has options that can make it make sense for even the most homicidal yet strangely nonchalant half-god alien demon hunter giant slayer to settle down. Oooor something like that. Like banging the cleaning lady or using his partner so he cans teal their energy to get stronger.

Isn't domesticity grand?

You'll be have tons of time for a special sort of togetherness, but don't let all that steam cloud up your mind. There are still other things involved in having a home! You have to do chores, visit others, and take care of business. Nothing says you can't combine a bit of play into all that, though. Just hope that the two of you don't get mad at each other! Unless you're ready for hot angry sex or even more fulfilling make up make outs, that is.

There's one important thing to remember about being all homey and cozy: when the house is a rockin', don't come a knockin'.

How to Play
  • Comment with your character and preferences. You can leave your comment blank OR you can put a bit more information about what prompts you like, info about your character, what have you.
  • Comment to others.
  • Play out domestic sex.
  • "But my character wouldn't...!" NOPE. There are plenty of options for those who are less inclined for being sweet or settling down. If all else fails, just handwave how they got here and focus on the now.

THE CRACK PAIRING MEME

crack pairing

An unusual relationship of any kind of fandom (i.e. books, television shows, movies, ect.) that is unlikely to happen.

OR

Randomly take two characters… they don’t have to know each other, they don’t have to show ANY signs of a relationship, and hook them together. That is a crack pairing.

We all know them. Fandoms have fostered these little gems of shipping since the early days, and now, they can even be serious contenders in even the most hostile of shipping wars. Maybe they're absolutely ridiculous and only "for the lulz." Perhaps they make perfect sense...if you squint. Whatever the case may be, these so-called "crack" pairings are not canon and they're nowhere near as popular in fandom as the big fanon pairings.

Most of the time.

Of course, it's important to note that a lot of the time in RP, pairings are always crack pairings. Especially crossover ships, which canon purists would deride purely for being impossible. Still, in memes, that's less likely to happen because people either stick with canon ships, fanon ships, or close CR because of the lack of opportunities for development that games offer.

Not here. This meme is for ALL your ridiculousness, all your high school fangirl dreams, and just plain not being sorry for your ships. Think these characters would be cute together? Go for it. That character have adorable icons and that all you know about them? Ship it, by all means. Here, the reasons come after the desire.

RULES
- Comment with your character and preferences. If you want, you can include a one sentence or so blurb about your character. But blank comments are fine.
- Tag to others.
- RNG for prompts. Prompts cannibalized from random memes.

Most societies have certain mores that are unspoken rules; humanity itself even has such conventions, grilled subconsciously into our minds for our own safety. Don't go out alone at night. Avoid getting wet when it's cold. Don't pick fights with those stronger than you...okay, some of us missed the boat on the last one, but the point still stands. Society's rules tend to be more variable, though they apply to most aspects of life - including sex. In fact, bending the rules on what's considered acceptable in romance and sexual encounters can lead to anything from ostracization to death, depending on the time and culture.

So, play it close to the chest if you're going to do a big, big, big t a b o o. Is it worth the risk?

- Comment with your character and preferences. Be sure to include what you want and what you DON'T WANT. Blank comments are fine; info is even better!
- Reply to others.
- Be fun and respect others, as this will deal with some heavy topics and potentially triggering material s.
