An unusual relationship of any kind of fandom (i.e. books, television shows, movies, ect.) that is unlikely to happen.

Randomly take two characters… they don’t have to know each other, they don’t have to show ANY signs of a relationship, and hook them together. That is a crack pairing.

We all know them. Fandoms have fostered these little gems of shipping since the early days, and now, they can even be serious contenders in even the most hostile of shipping wars. Maybe they're absolutely ridiculous and only "for the lulz." Perhaps they make perfect sense...if you squint. Whatever the case may be, these so-called "crack" pairings are not canon and they're nowhere near as popular in fandom as the big fanon pairings.

Most of the time.

Of course, it's important to note that a lot of the time in RP, pairings are always crack pairings. Especially crossover ships, which canon purists would deride purely for being impossible. Still, in memes, that's less likely to happen because people either stick with canon ships, fanon ships, or close CR because of the lack of opportunities for development that games offer.

Not here. This meme is for ALL your ridiculousness, all your high school fangirl dreams, and just plain not being sorry for your ships. Think these characters would be cute together? Go for it. That character have adorable icons and that all you know about them? Ship it, by all means. Here, the reasons come after the desire.

RULES
- Comment with your character and preferences. If you want, you can include a one sentence or so blurb about your character. But blank comments are fine.

Sweet
1. Can't deny it - you've tried to run from your feelings for so long and you can't do it anymore. It's time that you show the object of your affection exactly how you feel. Hopefully you don't lose everything in the process!
2. First time - it's your first time making love together. Is it awkward? Do you go all out or is it spur of the moment?
3. Accidental - you didn't actually mean to confess or kiss. They overheard you or it was an accidental kiss. Maybe you were just really drunk and let it slip!
4. Close as can be - you just want to make love and you've found a spot where it's just you and your partner, however you want it to be.
5. Happily ever after - somehow, you've made it work and you're both happy together, even if it meant you had to run away together.
6. Appreciation - show appreciation for your lover! With words, a look, or whatever your choice way to display affection is!
7. Cuddling - nothing wrong with a day of cuddling...
8. Vacation - you're on a vacation! Wherever you want to be. Road trip, amusement park, Grand Canyon, etc.
9. Family - you're visiting family! Maybe they find out about your relationship, maybe they already know, or however you want to play it out! Maybe you've got news you're starting a family by getting pregnant, adopting, or even getting a new pet.
10. Acceptance - someone who disapproved of your relationship before suddenly approves. How's that feel to you and your lover?
11. Surprise - you've planned a surprise! What is it?
12. Date - first date, second date, hundredth date, etc. What are you doing for it?
13. Reunited → it's been awhile since you've seen each other and nothing can ruin this moment.

Angst
1. Conflict - you've just had a fight with your lover over your relationship or how you handle it. Can you find it in yourselves to forgive each other?
2. Cheated - your lover has cheated on you and you need to confront them about their reasons why and if you can work it out.
3. Found out - you've been found out by someone close to you and they're less than thrilled with your relationship.
4. Disgust - though they play along with it, they're secretly disgusted by the relationship they have with you and it finally comes out into the light.
5. Guilt - one of you is feeling guilty over your relationship, knowing it can never be truly normal or more than a secret.

Comfort
1. Soothing touch - what better way to sooth your lover than to make love to them and show them that no matter what other people say, you're not going anywhere.
2. Fight for you - whoever has found out about your relationship is trying to hurt your lover and you're not going to let them.
3. Won't let you go - you need your lover to realize that you won't let them go, no matter what.
4. Back together - you broke up for a bit, but whatever it is between you two, you can't stay apart.
5. Injured - your lover was injured because of your relationship and it's time to patch them up.

Twisted
1. Forced - you know your partner isn't interested in you like this, but you keep them going along with the relationship no matter what. Coercion, blackmail, whatever it takes.
2. Won't take no - their lips might say no, but you're not listening.
3. Control - you've given them some kind of potion to get your love interest to love you in return and they have to do whatever you say.
4. Recorded - you're not really interested in this forbidden love affair, but you must do it or you'll face some tough consequences.
5. Insult - you're cornered by those who disapprove of your relationship, hearing how filthy you are.

Sexy
1. Rough - you want it rough and hard tonight. Bites, scratches, bruises, etc.
2. Toys - you want to try some props tonight... toys or fuzzy handcuffs.
3. Bondage - more extreme. You're tied up, used, forced to orgasm, whatever.
4. Make up - make up sex is the best sex.
5. Public - you're feeling a little wild so why not a blowjob under the tablecloth in a restaurant or sex in the car?
6. Interrupted - oh yes, oh yes, oh--who the hell is that watching us?!

Ending
1. Left alone - you woke up to your lover trying to slip away in the night because of the strain of the relationship. Do you let them go or try and fight for it?
2. Torn apart - others are keeping you apart after they found out about your relationship, giving you only minimal contact. What do you do?
3. Ending fight - the argument has turned dirty and ends with one of you storming out.
4. Parting ways - both of you have decided to part ways. It's just so much easier.
5. Always love you - though you'll always love each other, maybe it's time the relationship goes back to being strictly platonic. It would be easier... or maybe that's just how one of you feels.

[Louise and Moriarty had just finished dinner, and step just outside the restaurant. She faces him, shuddering in both the cold and his presence. She'd barely eaten a bite, so nervous she was at being potentially seen with him. Just then, she spies Greg Lestrade over Jim's shoulder, stepping out of a shawarma joint next door to the posh, intimate club she and Moriarty had just been in. She observes Lestrade lighting a cigarette and taking a drag before slowly turning and walking down the sidewalk towards them. This COULDN'T HAPPEN. Eyes flashing, she heaves a breath before seizing Moriarty by the lapels of his cashmere coat, shoving him into the nearest doorway. Firmly planting her left leg in between his thighs, she manages leverage, as well as managing the perfect angle by which to inflict paralysing damage with her knee, should he try anything rash.

Just as Lestrade walks by them, she presses her lips to Jim's, slowly, tentatively, teasingly, her left hand cupping his right cheekbone so as to make their identities anonymous. God, she almost hated the mere taste of him. Almost.

Her pulse began to betray her.]

[All good things must come to an end. While his stay in the fairy tale kingdom had been pleasant (surprisingly so, in fact), it was time for Edgeworth to return home. But first, he needs to say goodbye to the person who had made his visit bearable in the first place. He would walk up to the queen's chambers, knock on the door, and bid farewell. It was easy. Really.

So easy that he's spent the last five minutes frozen at he door, his hand balled into a fist, unable to lift his arm even the slightest inch. He'd knock, really. Any moment now...]

You're leaving, aren't you?

[ Elsa's voice comes from somewhere behind Edgeworth and just a bit further down the corridor where she is standing in front of one of the windows, looking outside. Of course, she's been anticipating this moment all morning; there's really no escaping the inevitable. By now, she's really no stranger to seeing people come and go and this time shouldn't have been any different.

But it was.

Regardless, she turns her head to look at him, fighting back that ounce of sadness before it can creep into her expression. She's putting on a good front, though the small smile she offers him isn't quite so genuine. ]

[He stiffens when he hears her voice, before he turns to face her, eyes wide. Edgeworth stares as she forces a smile, before he breaks his gaze, glancing away at the floor.]

I...

[He takes a deep breath, steeling himself, and when he speaks again his voice is quiet yet steady.]

I'm afraid I am.

I see.

[ That sinking feeling in her chest only seems to accelerate with his response. However, she holds onto that ever-present calm, maintaining her composure, only taking a brief moment to send one final glance out the window before slowly turning to walk toward him.

She stops once she's standing in front of him, struggling to look at his face; though she does manage. ]

Well... It has been a pleasure having you here.

[ A courteous statement that she would have offered to just about anyone who visited Arendelle. ]

And... [ "I hate to see you go," is what she wants to say, but refrains. Instead, she pauses to find some alternate words, though her tone may implicate the same meaning whether she means for it to or not. ] ... you are more than welcome to come back anytime you please.

[He finally forces himself to face her. Leaving may be necessary, but it's certainly not easy. The least he can do is look her in the eye as he says his goodbyes.]

I... [Swallows the lump in his throat, regaining his composure.] I would like that very much. Assuming, of course...

[Assuming it's possible]

...assuming an opportunity presents itself.

[ Those words of his finalized it. Finalized how unlikely it was that they would ever meet again. But... what should it matter? He's just another person to come and go. Just another very brief friendship formed within a short period of time. Why should did he have to be so different? Why?

Clutching her hands a bit tighter, she desperately tries to fight back that emotion building up inside her chest; while it doesn't quite cause her expression waver, it does reach her eyes. ]

Yes, of course. I... I understand.

[ Once she's fairly positive that her smile cannot look any more forced, she finally averts her gaze down to the floor. What comes as a surprise is that she hasn't formed a small circle of ice around her feet yet. Yet. Chalk it up to her better hold on her powers, but she's far too distracted to be proud of herself. ]

In that case... [ Sigh. There's so much she wants to say, but judging by his expression and forced eye contact, this isn't any easier for him. No need to make a painful goodbye even more painful. ] ... I guess this is goodbye.

[ She forces herself to look up at him again, though her smile is gone. Even as much as she tries to force it back into place, it's no use. ]

I suppose it is. Though...

[He rubs his thumb between his fingers, and he shouts at himself to stop. However, his mouth is ten steps ahead of his brain.]

I won't be leaving. Ah-immediately, I mean. What I mean to say is-

[And now he's tripping over his own tongue. Edgeworth clears his throat, straightening up]

...I might have a spare moment or two before I go. Assuming you do, that is.

[ There's no doubt in her mind that any spare moment they spend together is just going to make things even more difficult when he actually has to leave, but a part of her can't quite make herself look that far ahead when she hears those words. Though her expression doesn't quite change, that sinking feeling comes to a temporary halt in knowing that they have more time. Even if it's only for a few minutes. ]

Of course. I have no pressing matters to attend to this morning.

[ Even if she had, they would have been easily dismissed for a later time. ]

[The same thought lurks in the back of his mind, but it's too late to take back his words. Though, it's almost...nice, taking the time to say a proper goodbye for once. He's been in and out of his friends' lives for so long that he's become almost like a ghost. Perhaps this time will be different.

Though if they're to make the most of their time together, they shouldn't waste it in the hall. Edgeworth clears his throat, and holds out his arm, like a proper gentleman]

Shall we, your majesty?

[He still can't muster a smile, but that doesn't mean much; smiles don't usually come easily to him. For what it's worth, though, some of the tension has left his posture, and while he isn't quite relaxed, at least he isn't as stiff as he was a moment ago]

[ There's some initial hesitance, but Elsa is quick to brush it off. Unclasping her hands, she reaches to take his arm while simultaneously moving to his side. She keeps her hold on his arm very slight, a preventative measure just in case her emotions take hold of her powers. At the very most, her touch would only freeze a small area of his sleeve and not his skin as well.

But that's not going to happen because she's fine. She's fine and everything is fine. Even if she can't quite force herself to feel like it is. That aside, she does manage another very small smile as she glances up at him once they start off down the hallway. ]

It's fairly warm outside. We could go to the courtyard if you would like.

[Really, it had to come to this someday. While the king might take many lovers, there could only be one queen, and that was - and always would be - Saber.

Perhaps Gilgamesh was showing Medusa a kindness by leaving. Or perhaps not. Either way, he found himself slipping out of the bed they (briefly) shared and making his way towards the door. He almost made it before stopping mid-stride and willing some clothes into existence on his frame. Then he turned to look back at the bed, his expression inscrutable.

Was it guilt that made him look back? Or a pragmatic desire to confirm she was still in bed?

...oh who are we kidding, Gilgamesh doesn't feel guilt.]

[Medusa felt the bed move, but kept still and did not open her eyes. She listened silently to his footsteps, and felt that faint glimmer of magic and his spirit's energy as he willed the clothing to appear. Still, she didn't move, not until she sensed him turn.]

Was my performance truly so horrible that it rendered me unworthy of a farewell?

[A single golden eye opened as she spoke, tone lilting with slight sarcasm. She turned to lay on her side as she looked to him, awaiting an answer.]

[It might be expected that a man look chagrined in this situation.

Gilgamesh merely shook his head, his expression seemingly untroubled.]

I think we both knew this day would come. Had to come. I didn't feel like waking you to state the obvious.

[And the fact that he was bothering to explain himself at all was very out-of-character for Gilgamesh. ...yeah this probably wasn't destined to be a healthy long-term relationship, was it?]

[It would be a lie to say Medusa wasn't unhappy to see him go. Oh, she'd known what sort of relationship this was when it had begun, but she didn't much like this delivery.]

And is there a reason you picked today in particular to do this?

[Medusa sat up, letting the blankets fall from her and leave her bare flesh revealed - though not in an attempt to entice him back.]

[Gilgamesh's expression darkened. It was the kind of look that would probably have terrified anybody who...well...wasn't Medusa. Fortunately it didn't appear directed at her.]

Because I need to go kill some dogs that have been nosing around my property. [The casual way he dropped that line could just as easily have applied to actual dogs as, say, a certain boy and a certain Servant.] I was content to let them all scrabble in the dirt, but touching the king's treasure requires a response. It's time I took back what was mine.

Ahh, I see.

[Medusa gave a rather smug smile as she leaned back against the pillows. The expression didn't bother her in the slightest, she'd seen far more frightening sights in her 800 years. Yes, it bothered her that he was more or less ditching her, but Medusa wasn't in the habit of wearing her expressions on her sleeve.]

But doesn't everything belong to you, King of Heroes? Thus, in theory, are there not dogs touching your possessions at every given point in time?

[Just some food for thought, Gilgamesh. Medusa so enjoyed poking holes in logic when she had nothing better to occupy her time, or when things weren't going her way.]
