It's nice having someone to talk the more scientific aspects of Titan physiology with, but after around the fifth hour, he had just been feeling rather light-headed. It was early evening, with most people either around the dining quarters or the barracks, so Armin figured heading to the bathrooms on the far side would give him a bit of a breather.

[While out on the road wandering the polite thing to do when hearing suppressed groans with a hint of pleasure in them from behind a big rock a bit away from the road you just went on walking. Rihan on the other hand wasn't always the most polite person. His quite odd upbringing had to do with that. So instead of walking away he walked up to the stone and then jumped up on it to look down on whoever was down there.]

It had become something of a tradition for Souji to stay at least one night at the Inn every time he visited Inaba, and the way the comfortable, easy rapport with Yukiko comes back each time always makes it one of the highlights of the trip.

They'd only just gotten back from a relaxing afternoon out, so after swinging by his room to drop off a few things, he comes right to hers, looking forward to spending the evening together. It doesn't occur to him that the way he phrased it, it might have sounded like he was going to nap for a while; and it hadn't occurred to him that she might be changing clothes or doing anything else that would require him to knock... and it didn't occur to him that she'd felt quite as thrilled and electrified by their afternoon so far as he had.

So, the door's been quietly slid halfway open before he sees what's happeneing inside the room.
