THE RPG STATUS EFFECT MEME


Or the “everyone in my party is a scarecrow except me” meme.

It doesn’t matter how it happened. It could have been a spell, cast by a saucy witch or a demon king! Maybe it was a misfire, or maybe you used the wrong item. Real life events can do it, too...has something shocking occurred recently? Whatever the case, you’ve got a STATUS EFFECT. Just how bad is it, and will you be able to get rid of it?

The Rules!
1. Post with your character! Include name and canon and preferences, whatever you want. Set up your scene, or leave a blank comment. It doesn’t matter. Smut is possible in this meme, so make sure to let people know if you want it or not!
2. When you tag someone else, use the Random Number Generator to pick a status effect! Or cheat and pick your own, it's all good.
2.5 You can both roll, too! Make it a train wreck.

My Little Pony: Memes are Magic

1. Roll to find out what you are. (Or don't, if you're from the series already. Or you can reroll and suddenly Celestia is a butterfly. Go for it!)

2. Post with your character name, series and the number you just got in subject line.

3. Go to Random.org and roll! roll! do a barrel roll!

4. Roll for what you are and what you’re doing. Then patiently wait for responses!

5. Respond to somepony else. If you can't wait for responses to your own thread. Or if you want to spread the love and tolerance 20% quicker.

6. HAHA, THE FUN HAS BEEN DOUBLED!

7. (Optional) You can go to The Pony Creator and make a pony version of your character. Just remember to come back to this meme today, okay?

The Awesome Moment Meme


As defined by TV Tropes (link not provided to avoid muns falling into inescapable vortexes): [A Crowning Moment of Awesome is] when a character does something for which they will be remembered forever, winning for them the eternal loyalty of fans. Or maybe some characters just do lots of different things, even everyday things like taking out the trash, and they're just . . . awesome. It's made even MORE awesome when that moment has been captured on film or on canvas.

How it works:
→ Leave a comment with the usual information in the subject line: character name, fandom.
→ Post either a Youtube video or picture/fanart of your character being awesome in your comment. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR COMMENT BLANK. You're showing off your character's awesomeosity!
→ This post will be image heavy and possibly NSFW with triggers and the like. Instead of embedding violent or sexual images/videos, just provide a link. Proceed at your own risk.
→ Tag around. Others will respond ICly. All discussing how awesome things are. Note that awesome moments are subjective. What strikes one person as being awesome may generate a 'meh' reaction from another. =/
→ Have fun, and be excellent to each other.

How To Play

1) Post your character with their name/canon and any preferences.
2) Get a die or hop over to the RNG and roll for a situation.
3) Tag others with what you've rolled!
4) Work together to succeed! TEAMWORK POWER! 


1) Navigation! 
You've got someplace to get to and you can't do it alone. Crossing a treacherous mountain pass? Finding your way through a hedge maze? Contestants in the amazing race? Get your map, your compass and your buddy! You'll tackle it together! 

2) Battle!
If you'd been crazy enough to come on your own this would be a terrible situation. But you've got backup so this enemy is no match! Dragon slaying, evil robot deactivating, having it out with your evil mom in law, doubles tennis? You can win if you cooperate!

3) Assembly! 
It's up to you what you're trying to assemble. Is it a crib, a table, a costume, a team, car, a death ray, a clone army? How do you do this without five hands? What language are these directions even IN? Maybe your partner speaks Swedish...

4) Attached! 
You're stuck with your partner. No, LITERALLY stuck. Chained to, sharing a body, cursed, handcuffed, magically fused at the hip? Whatever it is you're going to have to cooperate to handle even basic tasks, and really pull out all the collaborative stops to get UN-stuck!

5) To Do List! 
You'd rather be doing something fun but this stuff has to get done, and thankfully you're not alone so it will go twice as fast! Clean that mess, get that paperwork out of the way, tie up all those loose ends and you can get down to having a good time! 

6) Player's Choice 
Choose whatever you like from options 1 through 5 or make up something else all your own!

MYTHICAL CREATURE MEME

HOW IT WORKS:
➔ You can either use the RNG or pick whichever creature you like.
➔ Leave a comment with your muse. Now they are a mythical creature.
➔ Others will tag your muse as a different or the same magical creature.
➔ All these creatures can obviously appear human, but shift between forms.
➔ If your muse is a mythical creature, try being human or another type of creature.
