The Tag Three (New) People Meme!

Building up new CR can be hard, especially if you're unsure who's interested, or if you're just a little bit shy. Behold a meme designed specifically to get around that.

Step One - Post your character, include a prompt if you want, and note your preferences for the random generator part of the meme. Note this meme is designed for any new CR, so while limiting certain aspects of the meme (no to certain prompts, only certain types for sex/shipping, etc) there should be no "canons/ocs/girls/boys only"!

Step Two - Go back three tags above you. If you've never tagged the character you land on, and they have no existing tags on their thread, roll up a prompt and tag them with it. Continue and do this two more times. If you hit the end of the meme, loop back around. If you get caught in an infinite loop, either wait for a new tag-in, or go by every other comment instead.

Step Three - If you can't find someone who hasn't been tagged and you haven't played with, it's fine to tag someone who has been. If you can and you still want to tag a tagged person, go ahead, just don't count it to your three.

Step Four - If you want to, you don't have to stop at just three. Keep looping (or come back later when others have tagged in) as often as you like!

ALTERNATE CHALLENGES
-Tag three characters whose players you do not know.
-Tag three characters whose canons you do not know.
-Tag three characters who you usually wouldn't tag.

As in a crossover meme, this is for tagging people you haven't before. You don't have to strictly follow the tagging pattern if you see other new people you'd like the excuse to tag, but this time is not for tagging people you've had more than one thread with!

Parents, congratulations! The precious responsibility of legal guardianship has been placed upon your shoulders. You are now in charge of a real, live, adorable(?) child! Welcome to the greatest adventure of your life! In theory, anyway. Let's hope you don't screw this up...

Children, also congratulations! Whether you had one before this meme or not, you have officially acquired a genuine responsible(?) adult to love and cherish you, teach you useful skills, and look after your every need! In theory, anyway. Let's hope you aren't too much of a handful...

HOW IT WORKS:

Make a post with your character's name and fandom in the subject line, and make note of whether you'd rather play as a GUARDIAN, as a CHILD, or as EITHER. Guardians must be over the age of 18 and children under the age of 18, but if your character is too old or too young for the role you want to play, just shoop their age and make a note of it in the subject line!

Easy as pie! Now, pick out a likely-looking guardian for your child or a child for your guardian (cross-canon tagging is totally encouraged here, but canon relationships are also fine), tag their post, and start playing! Rolling up a relationship, a scenario, or both at the RNG is entirely optional. Good luck!

The Aphrodisiac'd, Completely Random Blind Date Meme

All of you are always so busy, running around with your world saving and/or world conquering. It's time to take a break, isn't it? And there's no better place than a five-star restaurant.

You don't want to go to a five star restaurant, you say? TOO BAD.

The first thing guests will notice upon walking in are the mouth-watering smells drifting from the kitchen; if you weren't hungry before, you will be now. The next thing you will notice is that your outfit has been changed to fit the setting, something dapper and stylish, a nice dress perhaps, or maybe a pressed shirt and pair of slacks. This is one restaurant serious about its dress code!

The decor of the establishment itself has been tastefully done. The lighting has been lowered just enough to create a cozy atmosphere and a candle burns on every table. Music plays in the background, soothing, forgettable instrumentals soft enough not to distract from conversation. Overall the setting is classy, but not pretentious, and very comfortable.

Business is in full swing, but your wait is brief and the maître d’ appears quickly to escort you to your table, a nicely private u-shaped booth. As you look over the chef's carefully selected menu, it seems you will be in store for a very pleasant dining experience indeed.

Of course, you won't be having it alone for long. Soon after your beverage has been ordered, the maître d’ reappears with another guest and an apologetic explanation that all the tables are full and they promised everyone a meal tonight, so won't you please share your booth? He then cheerfully bids you both a pleasant evening and leaves before either of you have time to object.

Surprise! The restaurant is actually setting patrons up on blind dates! You could both leave, but that would be very rude, wouldn't it? And it's such a nice place, maybe love is on the menu, after all...

[OOC: Your regular blind date type scenario, though this meme has a bit of magic pull to make characters stay when they usually wouldn't, and an aphrodisiac to move the date in a more... amorous direction.

The point of this meme/open post is to tag around (the perfect opportunity for some crazy cross-overs!), hence it's completely random pairing aspect and the "blind date" part. Still, set your posts up as usual:

And see what happens! You may want to "set the scene" so people will have something to reply to, but that's certainly not required!]

The Deathbed Confession Meme

Post with your character's name and other information in the subject line. Make sure that if you have any preferences or triggers, you make them known.

The person who just tagged you is slowly dying and doesn't have much time left. How slow depends on the situation: maybe they have just a few weeks, a few days, a few hours. They called you in for something important.

It's time to set things straight.

Head over to RNG and roll yourself one of these options, or just pick one at will! A lot of these overlap with each other, so you don't have to stay in the exact bounds of one if characterization says otherwise.

I'm not who you think I am: Maybe you actually are leading a double life, and the identity they know as you isn't really you. Or maybe this is something more innocent: they've gone so long without knowing your past, and it's time you fixed that. It's time they saw your true self.
I always loved you: You never told them, scared of what would happen if your feelings went unrequited. But you don't dare move on without telling them how you really feel.
I never loved you: It was all a lie. You feel terrible about having led them on like this, and at least this way you can die with a clear conscience.
Lost time: Maybe you never got to take that trip you wanted to go. Maybe you just never spent as much time as you wanted with them. Whatever the case, it's time to at least try to move toward making up now.
Regret: Maybe you killed their parents. Maybe you bullied them as children, or stole everything from them. But you've wronged this person, and it's time to ask their forgiveness so you can make amends before you die.
I did it: Similar to the one above; you've wronged this person in your past. But unlike #5, they're unaware of your transgression. The secrecy has been too much to bear.
I'm really an alien spy: Obligatory silly crack choice! Did you take the last cookie from the cookie jar? Farted in your roommate's shower? Well, you better tell them now.
Other: Combine some of the above choices or make one of your own.
