[ Jason does everything he needs to do to get ready for this undercover mission, all under the radar so Bruce won't suspect a thing. what Jason does suspect is that Bruce is gonna tell him he can't go out as Robin without him, which he'd normally be pissed about so he puts up a damn good fight so as not to be suspicious, but it means he's totally free while Bruce is away, and ready to head to New York City.

he's pushing at Nate's buzzer at 9:45am Friday morning. he's excited, ok? ]

[A moment after he hits the buzzer he hears the click of the lock, Nate doesn't bother to come down and get him this time as he trusts Jason remembers the way to his loft. When Jason gets to the apartment door he'll find it unlocked as well and when he lets himself inside he'll find Nate sitting on the couch, sipping coffee while an elderly man sets up the tailoring area.]

[Nate says and motions Jason inside.] I just made a fresh pot of coffee and Giselle should be back with croissants any moment.

[ Jason heads up to the loft, taking two steps at a time. when he heads inside he drops his bag down by the door and kicks his shoes off before he pauses as he looks up. yeah, he had definitely forgotten about the tailor. blocked it out of his mind.

he groans, making an equally pitiful face, but he does come inside.

it's weird to see other people here, so closely in Nate's space. he's so used to the two of them being very alone together. ]

Giselle?

[As if on cue the front door opens again and a stunning woman in her late twenties comes in with a large paper bag, she has pale skin and thick wavy black hair that goes all the way to her tailbone and eyes that are ice blue.]

Ah, here she is. Jason, this Giselle.

[The woman smiles and comes into the living room, placing the bag on the coffee table. She offers Jason her hand and when she speaks she has a light Russian accent.]

Hello, Jason.

This is her father, Piotr. [Nate says, motioning towards the older gentleman who just grunts.]

[ Jason's demeanor shifts immediately when he turns to watch Giselle come in. he doesn't stare, but he's definitely a little mesmerized by her. ]

Hi.... pleasure to meet you.

[he says as he slides his hand into hers to shake it. see? he can be polite.]

I'm sure you probably get this all the time, but your eyes are incredible.

[Giselle's smile grows and a soft pink color rises to her cheeks.]

Spasibo. I mean, thank you. Yours are very pretty too.

[Piotr clears his throat loudly which seems to snap Giselle back into the task at hand, she goes over to him and pulls a gorgeous black designer suit out of a suit bag and lays it out for Jason to see.]

This is yours, it will look much finer once Papa has customized it for you.

[ Jason smiles right back, tilting his head down a little. ]

[he says before Piotr breaks up their little love fest. Jason straightens up a little more after that, coming over to look at the suit. he lets out a little whistle, reaches out to run his fingers lightly over the fabric.]

Nice. Looking forward to it.

[he says to her smoothly, as if he hasn't been complaining about it all along.]

[Nate chuckles at how quickly Jason changes his tune about the fitting and pours him a cup of coffee.]

Have a seat, they'll let us know when things are ready.

[He says and passes Jason the cup of coffee and then goes into the bag to get himself a croissant.]

Do you think Bruce suspected anything?

[theotherobin]

[ it is a nice suit, he has to admit. but also he's just a big flirt. he smiles at her again before going over to where Nate is sitting and sits instead of flops this time, taking the cup of coffee from him. ]

Cool, thanks.

[he takes a small sip from it and makes a slight face. needs about a ton of sugar.]

Nah, not a thing. I played it up real good but subtle.

[Nate sees the grimace and passes him the sugar bowl.]

Good. When is he due back in Gotham?

[ he takes it gladly with a small thanks and dumps some sugar in, stirring it up. ]

He said Sunday night or Monday, but he'll keep me posted. That's good, right? Enough time to do what we gotta do?

[and follow up, hopefully, even if things take a different turn? Jason wants to see this through.]

Oh yes, that should be more than enough time.

[Nate says and then falls silent while he eats his croissant, occasionally sipping his coffee. Just as he's finishing, Giselle comes over and touches his hand lightly.]

We're ready.

Thank you. [He says and then motions for Jason to stand up.]

All right, let's get you suited up.

Awesome. I figured. And we'll have time do to other shit like, you know. The stuff we talked about.

[he'd rather not announce it all right now and there really isn't any need to do so. Nate knows what he means. he drinks his coffee and grabs a croissant, munching on it happily until Giselle comes over and he smiles at her, trying to hold back a groan at the thought of standing there getting poked and prodded.]

Great. So ready for this.

[Nate knows there's sarcasm there, but it's all good. he sets the rest of his coffee down and gets up, wiping his hands on a napkin.]

[Nate just sits on the couch and smirks because he knows that Jason is secretly not looking forward to this at all but at least he's being polite to both Giselle and Piotr.

When Jason comes over to them Giselle passes him the suit from the bag and tells him that they'll need him to change into it, she motions towards a little privacy curtain area that Piotr set up. Once Jason has changed into the suit Piotr waves at him to stand on a small box where he stands there and looks at him, he has similar eyes to his daughter but they are far less warm and more critical.]

On zdorovyy mal'chik.

[Piotr mutters and kneels down to adjust the cuffs of Jason's pants, when he does Giselle smiles and leans in to Jason.]

He says you are a healthy looking boy.
