texting meme You’ve got your TFLN, you’ve got your sexting, now here’s the meme for all those gen texts, phone calls, voicemails, pictures of your cats, and whatever else your little heart can come up with, because who doesn't like a little old fashioned friendly texting. (Or enemy texting, if that's more your bag.) instructions: What it says on the tin! Leave a comment with your character, include preferences, a start, absolutely nothing or whatever you want. Run around and reply to others. Lather, rinse, repeat.

I sure as fuck am not gonna sit there for an hour either. Even five minutes is pushing it, but... yeah, ok. I'll write it down.

[he taps the pen against the journal, glancing at Nate.]

Any of them, really.
Sometimes it's interesting to see how often you feel frustrated or depressed and check it against your other habits such as drinking.

I don't get depressed.

[he doesn't want to write it down and keep track, is more like what it actually is.]

It's just an example, and perhaps depressed is the wrong word. Sad.
We can also write down things like Excited, Horny, Confused, and Happy.

I vote for horny.

[he snorts. big surprise. he'd rather joke about that, than think about keeping track of all his other emotions. this whole graph thing might get real messy if he did that.]

Of course you do, but let's also write down Happy and Upset which can mean things like feeling sad and frustrated.

[He says and then shrugs.]

Sometimes it's beneficial to see how you've felt.

[ he remembers the conversation they had about emotions. how Nate said it wasn't a completely bad thing. that's the first time Jason's ever really considered anything but what he's known to be true all his life and now he's thinking about it again. ]

How come you don't generally do it?

Because I'm fairly good at recognizing them but it could also be that I've become complacent, so I'm sure I could use with a refresher.

[he gives a small smile and writes it down now that he feels a little better about it.]

And then maybe if we wanna write down the variation of the mood, like sad or frustrated we can write that in the grid box.

Probably 😥 I tested neg but I have fever, chills, runny nose aches so idk 😐

...I dunno. It's just doodles. I don't really do it a whole lot but sometimes it just happens I guess.

[but really, he's the worst example. Jason just tends to roll with that these days. for the most part. now he's got Nate's influence too, though and that might balance things out.]

Of course he says that, he's a workaholic. But take Leslie for example, she's the queen of having hobbies that don't have any use.
Making kombucha, macrame, pour art painting, cross stitch, miniatures, gardening, the list keeps going.

[His tone is slightly exasperated but there's a hint of fondness to it.]
