[Jason sits back down, a small smile on his face. he's trying hard not to blush cause that would be fucking embarrassing.]

That's cause she doesn't know me.

Yes. It's unusual for women to become tailors but she wants to try and change that, especially since it's been a family business for a few generations now.

She knows that you have pretty eyes.

[ Jason shrugs, but he's still smiling. he knows nothing will come of it, but it's nice to think about. he can let himself think about it for a little while. ]

Her eyes were even prettier. I swear I stopped dead in my tracks when she walked in.

He does. We met a long time ago through my work.

With her? Maybe. You'd have to get on the good side of her father though.

[he laughs at that, shaking his head.]

Piotr used to be involved with the Russian mafia and he wanted out which I helped him do for certain information on them.

[Nate snorts and leans back against the couch.]

He didn't hate you.

Oh, dude. That's intense. Did you get what you needed on em?

[Jason rolls his eyes, then sits back with the rest of his coffee. it's cold now, but that's fine. he isn't gonna complain, and he isn't gonna waste it. it's damn good coffee.]

Sometimes, yes. Usually when I think the person will come in handy later on.

Not at all. As I've mentioned before you have that European model look which pairs nicely with designer clothing.

[Maybe a little bit, but not because of the new word. More because he wasn't a brat during the tailoring.]

[Jason would appreciate that too. he's not generally such a brat though. he just talks without thinking sometimes.]

Not always but most often yes.

[Nate nods and pulls out his laptop, opening it up so he can show Jason the floorplan of the venue they will be at. Highlighting exits, windows, and areas of interest like the back room where a lot of deals tend to go down.]

Like I told you before our job tonight is to mostly watch the two brothers and see if and which one tries to make a deal with Thomas Segal. I also want to keep an eye out for anyone else they engage with, the feud between them is building and I suspect they are going to be using this whole men's club event as a way to try and bring in others.

Damn, I might need to get more suits.

[Jason sits up, moving in a little closer to see the laptop and check out the floorplan. exits, windows, areas of interest...this, he's real fucking good at. it's something he does naturally when walking into a room.]

You got a list of regulars? VIPs?

[A couple of quick taps on the keyboard and a list pops up on the screen, along with photographs.]

Right here. As you can see it varies from the young and rich to old money.

[ Jason reads what's on the screen, nodding slowly as he scans the photos carefully, one by one. ]

Yeah, it really does. Good for us, huh.

Yeah, it will make us both blend in a lot more.

[For the next hour Nate goes through all the details with Jason, normally he wouldn't be so thorough, if it were Sadie he would just tell her what to do but Jason is not only extremely clever but he's also interested in this aspect so Nate is a lot more patient and open about all the aspects.]

You pick up on things quickly.

[He comments as they finish up and he closes his laptop.]

[Jason is attentive as Nate runs through all the details, offering thoughts and ideas when he thinks of something, asking questions when needed, but mostly he just takes in the details and files them away.

it's a good operation and a good plan and Jason really is excited to get to work with Nate.

he smiles a little at the compliment, though deep inside he's pretty much beaming.]

[He tucks his laptop into it's slim case and then pulls out a simple black notebook.]

Guess that's why Bruce keeps me around, huh.

[hopefully for more than that, but there are some skills he has that he knows he excels at and he's glad that more than one person thinks so, especially cause Nate is highly skilled too.]

[He opens the book to a marked page where Jason will see a simple grid, across the top is the days of the month and down the side are a list of things that say such things as:

Meditation
Yoga with Leslie
Hits
Drinking
Sex
Nightmares]

This was December. [He says and runs his finger across the grid, showing that he has filled in a grid mark on certain days to line up with some things off his list.]

At a glance you can see that I drank too much, had no sex and did four jobs in one month.
