[Nate says after considering the shoes for a moment. Piotr, despite being old, is obviously a fast worker and he comes over to Jason with the fixed jacket. He helps him into it and then for the first time that morning the gruff old man actually smiles, giving Jason's shoulder a little pat and saying something in Russian.]

Perfect.

[Nate translates and then nods.]

[ Nate has good taste, Jason can't deny that. not that he ever did, though. it's just nice that he looks good in Nate's taste, too.

when Piotr comes over with the jacket, Jason stops showing off with the shoes for a moment and puts it on, and yeah... this doesn't feel so awkward and restrictive anymore. ]

[Piotr nods and then waves at Jason to remove everything so he and Giselle can finish up the pants and any last minute details. All in all the entire tailoring process takes about an hour and a half and at the end Giselle hands Jason the finished suit, her fingers brushing his softly.]

It was nice meeting you, Jason. Enjoy yourself and the suit.

[She says shyly while Nate gets the door for her father, on her way out she stops in front of Nate who bends down to kiss her cheek softly.]

[She blushes prettily and then goes to catch up with her father, Nate closes the door and then turns back to Jason.]

[ Jason goes to change out of the pants and back into his clothes. he sits back down on the couch and goes over a few more details of the case they're working on with Nate. he glances over at Giselle a few times, but his attention is mostly on Nate.

when she comes back over to them with the suit he stands up and takes it from her, smiling when her fingers brush against his, locking eyes with her. ]

It was nice meeting you too. Thank you for the suit.

[he watches as she leaves, as Nate kisses her cheek, as she blushes. the two of them look really nice together. he ruminates on that for a moment until Nate turns back to him and he gives the older man a small smirk.]

Okay. You win this time. That was pretty awesome.

I told you it wouldn't be so bad.

[He says and comes back over to the couch, sitting down and refilling his coffee cup.]

You need to learn how to trust your Uncle Nate.

Look, I've only had one experience and yeah I love Alfred and all, but that wasn't like this.

[he laughs softly, coming back over as well, snagging another croissant.]

Giselle seems cool.

She's a very sweet girl, she'll eventually take over the business when Piotr passes away.

[He says, sipping his coffee.]

She seemed quite taken with you.

Is that what she wants to do?

[Jason sits back down, a small smile on his face. he's trying hard not to blush cause that would be fucking embarrassing.]

That's cause she doesn't know me.

Yes. It's unusual for women to become tailors but she wants to try and change that, especially since it's been a family business for a few generations now.

She knows that you have pretty eyes.

That's pretty cool. How long have you known em?

[ Jason shrugs, but he's still smiling. he knows nothing will come of it, but it's nice to think about. he can let himself think about it for a little while. ]

Her eyes were even prettier. I swear I stopped dead in my tracks when she walked in.

I've known Piotr for about eight years.

[Nate chuckles.]

Yes, she does have that effect on people. She's growing up to be a stunning young woman.

That's a real long time. Does he know what you do?

[he smirks, watching Nate.]

He does. We met a long time ago through my work.

With her? Maybe. You'd have to get on the good side of her father though.

[he laughs at that, shaking his head.]

Come on, her father loved me.

Piotr used to be involved with the Russian mafia and he wanted out which I helped him do for certain information on them.

[Nate snorts and leans back against the couch.]

He didn't hate you.

Oh, dude. That's intense. Did you get what you needed on em?

[Jason rolls his eyes, then sits back with the rest of his coffee. it's cold now, but that's fine. he isn't gonna complain, and he isn't gonna waste it. it's damn good coffee.]

You really think I look good in that suit?

[Nate nods.]

Yes, you clean up rather nicely.

It's cool that you still stayed in touch with him after that. You tend to do that sometimes, huh.

Sometimes, yes. Usually when I think the person will come in handy later on.

Not at all. As I've mentioned before you have that European model look which pairs nicely with designer clothing.

With your penchant for wearing suits, I bet he's come in handy a lot.

[he even learned a new, fancy word, Nate. aren't you proud of him?]

[Maybe a little bit, but not because of the new word. More because he wasn't a brat during the tailoring.]

Of course not. So, would you like to go over the plan for tonight?

Does Giselle always come along too?

[Jason would appreciate that too. he's not generally such a brat though. he just talks without thinking sometimes.]

Hell fucking yeah, let's do it.

Not always but most often yes.

[Nate nods and pulls out his laptop, opening it up so he can show Jason the floorplan of the venue they will be at. Highlighting exits, windows, and areas of interest like the back room where a lot of deals tend to go down.]

Like I told you before our job tonight is to mostly watch the two brothers and see if and which one tries to make a deal with Thomas Segal. I also want to keep an eye out for anyone else they engage with, the feud between them is building and I suspect they are going to be using this whole men's club event as a way to try and bring in others.

Damn, I might need to get more suits.

[Jason sits up, moving in a little closer to see the laptop and check out the floorplan. exits, windows, areas of interest...this, he's real fucking good at. it's something he does naturally when walking into a room.]
