[ Getting hit with an age-reversal Quirk was definitely going to make her list of "Top Ten Oddest Things to Happen to Me on the Job", but she'd actually have to remember that she was a Pro Hero for that to happen.

So Nemuri had been hit with a villain's Quirk that somehow de-aged her back to her teenage years, and it was only by virtue of her stilettos in his face that she'd stopped the reversal process. Despite the oddness of the situation, she still had much to be grateful for, because at least she hadn't been turned back into a baby.

Principal Nezu had told her that she was a Pro Hero and a teacher, and she thought that that was wild. As far as she could remember, she was just sitting in those classrooms, goofing off with her classmates and with underclassmen Yamada, Aizawa, and Shirakumo during their lunch breaks.

Anyway, intel had said that the Quirk would wear off eventually, and Principal Nezu had given her free rein of the campus while waiting. She'd put on a U.A. uniform out of habit and was just admiring the new dorms, smiling and waving nonchalantly at the students who did stop to stare at her. By now, the news that her teenaged self was wandering about had spread across the campus. ]

[Even though news of what had happened to Midnight-sensei was already the hot topic of conversation on campus, Kaminari wasn't thinking too much about it as he left the 1-A dorms to head to Lunch Rush. Sure, it was really cool to think that he could just walk into a teenaged version of his teacher, but he was more focused on his empty stomach in the moment.

Until, that was, he spotted a really cute girl he didn't recognize hanging around outside the dorm building. She had short, dark hair that hung in cute, almost fluffy looking spikes, and her eyes were big and bright. Kaminari didn't know her to be part of class B, and she definitely wasn't in his class, but he wasn't sure she was one of his senpai, either; he would have remembered seeing her in the Sports Festival, Culture Festival, or other hero-course activities. Maybe she was in General Studies or Management?]

Hey there! Are you lost? Because's Heaven's pretty far from here.

[Smooth.]

[ Wow, and Nemuri thought she'd heard it all. Maybe her adult self might have, but as a teenager, she had to admit that that was new. She let out a laugh, not because it was a great pick up line, but because the effort was cute. ]

I bet you say that to all the girls.

[ She braced her hands on her hips in a way that was very reminiscent of her 32-year-old self. ]

How many girls have you taken to heaven by now, hm?

[Reminiscent though her gesture may have been, Kaminari still hadn't connected the thoughts. He grinned at her playing along, and shrugged his shoulders casually.]

A few. Never taken an angel there before, though. Maybe you'll make me a lucky guy today?

[ Nemuri gave him a feigned coy look from beneath lowered lashes. A bit difficult because he was shorter than her, but she'd had practice. ]

You'll just love me and leave me. I know you youthful, bucking bronco types.

[Wow! Kaminari flirted with people often (very, very often), but it was still a bit rare for a cute girl to flirt back. He stood up a little straighter and flashed her a winning smile.]

What kind of pro-hero would I be if I went around breaking girls' hearts? I might as well just move to General Studies now if that was my plan. But then at least I'd get to be in classes with you, maybe?

[ Nemuri pursed her lips, holding up a finger to her cheek as she looked at the glaringly huge sign above their dorm that said 1-A. (Not very subtle.) ]

But aren't you a cute lil first year?

[ She grinned at Kaminari, giving him a sly look. ]

I'm in my third year. You should be calling me senpai.

Oh! [He said in awe, getting a bit sheepish.] Sorry for being so casual, senpai!

[He bowed politely, but was still grinning as he rose.]

So, uh... will you tell me your name?

I'm just kidding! [ And she grinned, darting back playfully before striking a very familiar pose, except it made for quite a different sight in a U.A. uniform. ]

You can call me Mistress instead. Mistress Midnight.

[That pose. That name. It all clicks in Kaminari's head, a bit belatedly, and he suddenly turns scarlet when he realizes who he's been flirting with.]

M-Mi-Midnight! You're Midnight-sensei?! Oh my god, I can't believe I flirted with my own teacher. Please don't tell me you're gonna remember this when you turn back into an adult!!

[ Oh, no. Seeing him turn beet red like that, mortification creeping onto his face...

It made the sadist in her purr.

If she had a riding crop, she'd use it to tip his chin up so that he could look into her eyes. But as it was, she had nothing - it was a bit disappointing. ]

Seeing cute little boys like you get embarrassed like this... It must be really fun to be a teacher!

[On the inside, Kaminari is still malfunctioning, way too embarrassed after hitting on his teacher. But one thing does register, and his mouth asks before he can stop himself.]

Y-You think I'm cute?

[ He was almost peeing his pants. It was adorable. However -

She held a finger out, waggling it. (She still didn't have her nails painted scarlet.) ]

Whoa there! Don't tell me you're hot for teacher!

[Kaminari shakes his head vehemently, but in actuality there is a nugget of truth in the accusation. In his defense, it's hard not to be when your teacher is so sexy and scandalous they had to create new laws to keep her sexuality contained in more clothing.]

N-No! But you're still just a teenager, so... I mean, you're not Midnight-sensei yet!

[ She let out a laugh - doing the familiar happy dance that she already did as a teenager. ]

That must mean I've still got it! Aw, yeah! Man, am I gonna be a cougar when I'm in my thirties? 'Cause you youthful kids make me wanna squish you!

[To be fair, she pretty much is a cougar, except that she doesn't actually date her students, thankfully. But it still flusters Kaminari plenty, and other 1-A boys as well. He blushes and sighs.]

I-Is that really what you want to know? Not if you're a good teacher and stuff?

Oh, Principal Nezu already told me that he scouted me himself.

[ She beamed. Nemuri had never been one for insecurity, and she'd easily put two and two together. If Principal Nezu, with his super intelligence, scouted her for the job - he must've had faith in her abilities. ]

Okay...

[Quick, think of something else to say to distract from the fact that you hit on your Hero Art History teacher!]

How long as you going to be a kid for, do you know?

The police said the Quirk's effects will probably wear off by tomorrow.

Principal Nezu said I can sleep here on campus too. Can't believe there are dorms now! I heard I actually have my own place, but Aizawa said it'll be better if I stick around where people can keep an eye on me, you know? And I don't wanna worry my parents, because I bet they'll freak out if they suddenly see me like this.

[ It was weird, because her instinct was to go home after class, just like every other normal kid - eat dinner with her mom and dad, watch some TV, do her homework. But yeah, she couldn't tell her parents about this. She didn't want to worry them. ]

Oh yeah! [Well, as part of the class that is the reason for the dorms, Kaminari feels a little bad that people can't always go home when they want to- but in this case, that's probably a plus?]

That must be so weird... someone knocks on your door and it's your kid but fifteen years younger than they're supposed to be. So they don't even know?

[ Nemuri shook her head. ]

My plan was always to move out after I graduated. Don't want to have to come home beat up and have them worry about me all the time.

Well, yeah.... but I mean, they don't even know you got turned back into a kid now?

[It's just hard for Kaminari to imagine, still being a teenager and having his parents called whenever something happens to him at school.]
