Either way, you're sharing a flat (or maybe even a room) now! What's going to happen?

[Velvet couldn't complain about having Neon as a roommate. She did wash the dishes every night.
Although both of them soon learned that roller skates and wet floors don't always mix, but hey! It's not like Velvet was attached to her cute carrot plates anyway...

At least Neon wasn't a bad person, quickly offering to buy Velvet some new plates and a new outfit just for the heck of it. Both offers were sweet, but she was very well aware of Neon's clothing choices and the few teasing comments about her very modest and very brown closet.

Still, Velvet couldn't complain and so to the mall they ventured with Neon talking a mile a minute and leaving that ubiquitous rainbow trail behind her.

Velvet physically couldn't bring herself to complain about anything.]

[She’s probably not supposed to be skating in the mall, but the security guard seems familiar with her antics and just sighs as she wheels past, knowing how futile telling her to stop was. Neon’s lapping Velvet as she leads her to her favorite clothing store. Really she’s just beyond excited to be out spending the day shopping with Velvet, even if it’s going to cost her an arm and a leg.]

Come on, this is the place!

[She grabs Velvet’s wrists and pulls her into the store, the poor faunus barely remaining upright. It looks like Neon’s wardrobe on steroids in there. Everything is bright and colorful, nothing like anything she had ever seen Velvet wear.

She gasps, a miniskirt catching her eye.]

You have to try this on! And this. And this. And this...

[Neon is throwing clothes at Velvet left and right, each one more alarmingly bright than the last. A few more and she won't even be able to see her friend over the heap in her arms.]

[It was a miracle Velvet could even keep up as, for a moment, it seemed like her feet actually left the ground.]

[As expected, her voice was lost between Neon's enthusiasm and the blaring house music from the store's speakers. Her roommate was throwing this and that until Velvet was covered in various bikinis and miniskirts. A pair of silver hot pants even sailed through the air and hung neatly on her ears. Just being in front of the store was embarrassing enough, but holding this stuff made her face burn, thinking of how much Cardin would laugh and taunt her for wearing something so in your face.]

I'm pretty sure this... isn't me. Neon? Are you there?

[ooc: I had two scenarios pop into my mind. I wrote them both out and you just pick which one you like more.]

A

Neon has been a pretty spectacular roommate to Sun so far. Despite what happened yesterday. Neon had insisted suggested Sun join her out for a skate around town. Now it had been a long time since Sun had been on skates, it would be even longer before he got back on now now. He fell at least four times yesterday.

Even waking up today, his butt was still totally sore. But did he have fun? Yeah. So he wanted to do something nice for her this morning. Namely, make her breakfast. Though Sun's cooking skills were probably on par with his skating skills.

That much was obvious when smoke started to fill the apartment as he burnt pancakes. The alarm was blaring and Sun was standing by it with a makeshift fan trying to blow all the smoke away. Well, this was certain to wake Neon up if she wasn't awake already. Maybe he'd opt to take her out to breakfast somewhere else instead.

The music pulsated in the Night Club. Likes flashed and twirled in various colors. People danced and drank. It was easy to tell people were having a good time.

Sun was new to this place and his roommate, Neon, was just interested in showing him a good time. He couldn't say he was surprised that this was the sort of place she might enjoy. She seemed the type. They eventually got separated and he wasn't sure where she was now.

But Sun was sitting on one of the couches scattered around. He had a couple of drinks, his shirt was missing, his hair is a bit messed up and he has a bit of glitter on his body. So far tonight, he's had an amazing time. He had to actually sit down to get his breath back and maybe locate his roomie.

Man this was a tough choice

Neon felt a little guilty. She dragged Sun to the night club and then ditched him. This wasn’t an uncommon thing – you drink, you dance, you lose each other. It just happens. You blink, and they’re gone. Or in her case, you do a lap around the dance floor and can’t remember where you put your partner.

It had been about an hour since she saw him last, which again, not uncommon, but she was getting a little worried – who knew how much he drank? She darted around the club looking for him, surprisingly well balanced for someone who had a few drinks in her, but skating always came more naturally to her than walking. Not that she was necessarily going straight – she just wasn’t falling.

She had just grabbed another drink as she passed by it on her round and gasped as her favorite song came on. “I love this song!”

She really should find Sun, but one more dance couldn’t hurt, could it?

Glad I could give you a tough choice!

It happens and Sun isn’t upset about it. He didn’t think Neon was the sort of person that would invite him out here just to ditch them. It’d be a little pointless anyway, since the two of them were still going to be here at the club. Sun does spot the other tailed Faunus as she swipes a drink from someone as she went by.

Normally she would be hard to miss, but in a setting like this where there were already a lot of bright colors, she could be hard to see. But he had eyes directly on her now. He waved his arm in the air and shouted out to her, hoping that she might hear.

“Hey, Neon!” He’d get up and chase her down, but given how fast she’s going he isn’t sure if he’d be able to capture.

When Neon enters the room, Neo is jumping on the bed.

Less of a 'five little monkeys' style, as much as a 'one little monkey' but not little and also naked jumping. Less jumping and more mattress-spring strained hardcore boning, with Sun's arm's tied to the headboard. The kind of boning that would probably have lots of screaming except apparently Neo doesn't make a lot of sounds even when she's having sex.

Neo doesn't notice the door opening because the stereo is blaring Shock the Monkey.

When she got a text from Neo telling her to come home, she hadn't expected this. She had thought maybe something had happened so she came barreling through the door, not that Neo had noticed.

Neon was sure she must have been dreaming. Maybe their neighbor had taken a liking to rainbows and had the same lock as her. She tried to say something, really she did. Instead she found herself backing out to double check that yes, this was indeed her studio, yes, Neo had sent her the text not twenty minutes ago, and yes, Neo and Sun were indeed banging.

Normally she'd have something smart to say, but she just wasn't prepared in the slightest for the sight in front of her.

"...What?"

Because really, she thought she would have at least gotten a warning about their... adventures. Not that it was a problem - whatever floats your boat and all that. Hell, she wasn't opposed to switching it up in the bedroom from time to time.


"I can come back? ...Or did you need me?"

Oh right! She had texted Neon. What was it about? Where was her phone?

She spotted it on the nightstand next to the bed and reached for it, stretching herself out pendulously and then slipping off of Sun who was slippery given their recent activities. With a soundless yelp she fell off the other side of the bed with a very light thud.

She lifted her phone up though, so both could see it. Got it!! Ow.

Right! Neon gets another text.

Neo comes back from the grocery trip. Neon and her (mostly Neon) had put together a list of needed supplies, like food and toiletries and things necessary for life.

However, she's apparently only come back with ice cream. There was a sale. She's actually quite gleeful about it as she sets the plastic bags full of buckets of strawberry, chocolate and vanilla ice cream on the counter.

Please don't worry about it!

Neon took off her headphones and rose from the couch when she heard her roommate come in. She tossed her scroll on the cushion next to her and rolled into the kitchen to meet Neo. She was probably going to need help unpacking all of the groceries.

Or not.

It's fine; she had probably just brought the one bag in with her when she unlocked the door since it had to go straight to the freezer.

"Do you need help unloading the car?"

i fell into a black hole, but i got better. Want to keep going?
