Roommates

Perhaps you were best friends who decided to make rent cheaper by living together, a couple who took the plunge and moved in together, or you could just be some random people thrown together by circumstance and really needing a place to live.
Either way, you're sharing a flat (or maybe even a room) now! What's going to happen?
You know this drill:
- Post your character name, series and any preferences.
- Go to RNG (1-12) and tag around.
- Have fun!
PROMPTS:
( moving day )
Boxes. So. Many. Boxes. Whether you're moving in or out, they've got to go. Is your roommate willing to lend a hand?
( chores )
Whose turn is it to take out the trash? How about the dishes?
( pets )
Not only are you sharing a living space, you're sharing space with an animal. There could be allergies, behavioral issues, or an unexpected exercise partner. Most importantly, do you have to hide them from the super? Hmm, maybe not the fishtank.
( uninvited guests )
Could be a party, could be a significant other that seems to have moved in... you just weren't expecting company tonight.
( the noisy one )
Is there anything worse than paper thin walls and a noisy flatmate? You can hear everything they're doing... even (or especially) the TMI.
( the friendly one )
Oh, lucky you, you've scored someone who wants to try and make things as good as possible for you both! Don't waste this now. It might just be the greatest thing you could have.
( the tmi one )
OH GOD why did you walk in during that? Nope, backing out now... unless you're into that. Why do they keep telling you things, as well? Gosh.
( the disaster )
There's not even words. These are the ones the internet warned you about. A little TMI or noise? That is nothing compared to the crazy you're stuck with right now.
( a night in )
Game night, movies, TV marathons, whatever you like. You and your flatmate are going to hunker down with some popcorn and have fun.
( the fight )
Chore chart not working out? Someone is always late with the rent? It just isn't working out. Time to have that confrontation you're been putting off. Good luck.
( shopping )
Whether you're going for groceries or furniture (or fun!), you and your flatmate are hitting the shops and spending some cash.
( the other )
Thought of something not on here? Go for it! Mix and match your options or anything else!

However, she stepped out, shoulders hunched, and showed off the outfit to Neon.
Surprisingly, she actually looks good in a color other than brown and it was obvious there was a bit more oomph to her slender figure than at first glances. Her hands moved to cover her otherwise bare upper body, but even then she didn't have much to worry about considering how nicely her beautiful collarbone and arms were highlighted.
It was the fact they were highlighted that was the problem.]
Is it okay? It seems... flashy.
[Which was exactly the point, but Velvet couldn't stop imagining people pointing and laughing at her outfit.]
no subject
Are you kidding me? You look amazing! So adorable! What did I tell you? Color suits you.
[She gave Velvet another once-over, eyeing her up and down. She was certainly more curvy than she had thought. In fact, she was lucky the clothes she grabbed even fit her.]
You are going to turn so many heads! Oh, we're def getting this. Now we just need to go grab some shoe to complete the look! Maybe a necklace, too. Gotta draw attention to those babies.
[She winked, nodding towards Velvet's chest.]
no subject
Are you sure this isn't, you know, crazy?
[Out of all the outfits on display in the store, Velvet was by far the most tame.]
I don't want you spending so much money on me.
no subject
[Okay, so maybe the outfit wasn't for everyone, but Velvet looked like she was actually considering it, so Neon just had to get it for her. One day she'd thank her.]
And don't worry about the money. I've got it covered!
[Because if Velvet didn't want it, Neon was so getting that skirt for herself. And she would still take Velvet to her fuddy-duddy clothing store after if she wanted something more inside her comfort zone, too.]
no subject
[And they're not "fuddy-duddy". They're classic.]
Is there at least anything-- [she pointed to her ears and hair, hoping for something to cover them up] --you know?
[However, how Neon interprets that is left to be determined.]
no subject
I forgot accessories! Come this way. There are lots of cute clips over here.
[And she's dragging her by the wrist again. There were also some rainbow and star shaped face decals, but she doubted Velvet would spring for those this go around.]
no subject
Somehow the thought was utterly laughable.]
Do they have sunglasses? Big sunglasses?
no subject
[Naturally, there was not a plain pair in sight.
Neon, oblivious to Velvet's plight, boops her nose.]
But they we wouldn't be able to see your cute face!
no subject
I think these are good. Y-you know. They go with the look.
Maybe my hair like yours? Pigtails?
[Making Neon happy was starting to win out and maybe they could find a compromise.]
no subject
Oh my gosh yes! It would be so adorable! Maybe add a splash of color to that brown head of yours, too! I'll call my girl up; she'll get you right in.
[And she's already reaching for her scroll. Speak now or forever hold your peace.]
no subject
[She gently touches Neon's wrist.]
Clips. Clips are good. Right?
[Velvet's just mentally imaging herself with purple hair and even she'd laugh at herself.]
no subject
Clips are rad! Let's see...
[She flicked through the rack, holding up clip after clip to Velvet's hair. She broke into a huge grin when she found the perfect one. She pointed to a mirror so Velvet could see the poofy pink ribbon she had found and placed at the base of her left bunny ear. She was bouncing again.]
What do you think?
no subject
Velvet Scarlatina.
Wearing a colorful tank top and mini skirt, star sunglasses, and a giant ribbon.
She looked better fitted to sing about holding tiny dancers.]
It's... [a sigh] it's nice.
no subject
You don't actually like it, do you?
no subject
[That was seriously her only worry. If she could get over that, she'd even wear skates and everything.]
no subject
[She punched her fist into her other hand as a promise. Velvet should be fine; no one ever laughed at Neon. That might have something to do with her confidence, though.]
But hey, it's cool. It's not for everyone. We can hit up your usual joint and find something there. And if you ever want to live a little you can always borrow my clothes.
no subject
Well... maybe... maybe I can borrow your clothes first and see how it goes?
[She shifts slightly and points to the bow.]
But, um, we can get this? A compromise?
no subject
Yes! Of course! Anytime you want to borrow something, just let me know! I'm going to go pay for this, so go change.
no subject
Different, but a good roommate.]
Do you want to eat something here? I can pay for lunch if you want to go to your sushi place.
...and I can wear the bow. To-to get used to it.
no subject
Sushi sounds awesome! And after that we can go wherever you want. Do you need help putting the bow back in your hair?
no subject
[Although first things first as she awkwardly shifts a bit.]
Just, um, let me change first. Okay?
no subject
[She winked and was off without waiting for a reply, a trail of rainbows following in her wake as she darted across the store.]
no subject
She goes off to get changed and returns to find Neon at the registers.]
no subject
She put her wallet away and turned back to Velvet.]
Wanna race?
[She winked, knowing Velvet probably wouldn't go for it.]
no subject
As a little reminder of their friendship.]
Don't-don't you think that's a bit dangerous?
