SLAVES

1. The Newbie - This is your very first auction and you don't quite know what to expect. Hopefully you remember your training and don't disgrace yourself in front of your new master. Hopefully someone thinks you're worth buying at all.

2. The Oldtimer - You've been bought and sold and bought again so many times. You've seen it all before and don't think this time is going to be much different. In fact, the only real anxiety you've got is whether or not someone's going to pay for a more than slightly used slave.

3. The Pet - You're a pleasure slave. A bed warmer. A decorative piece of artwork. You're meant to look pretty and be pleasing and not much else.

4. The Guard - Your master hired you because of your ability to swing a sword or shoot a gun, not your looks.

5. The Escape Artist - Somehow you always manage to squirm out of your master's chains. Too bad you seem to get caught after a while. Maybe your next daring escape will be permanent. Then again, maybe your next master has special ways of keeping you locked up.

6. The Undercover - You aren't a slave at all, you're just pretending to be one. Why? Well that's up to you. Either way, your cover is blown if you don't act the part.

7. The Specialist - You have a skill that no one else has. Something rare and valuable. Something your master needs more than anything else.

MASTERS

1. The Customer - You've owned slaves before and this trip to the market is nothing new to you. Still, you're hoping to find something worth your while.

2. The Gift - Someone bought a pet for you, isn't that nice of them? Or maybe it isn't so nice. Did you even want a slave in the first place? Well you're stuck with one now.

3. The Giver - You're selecting a slave for someone else, and they need to be perfect. Perhaps you'd better test them out first to make sure you're getting your money's worth.

4. The Trainer - You specialize in taming unruly slaves and making them over into perfect, obedient, well-trained pets.

5. The Rebel - You hate the idea of slavery, but the system isn't going to go away any time soon, so the next best thing is to buy up any slave you can get your hands on and free them, right?

6. The Companion - You want someone to be with you always, someone you can talk to and depend on, someone who will never leave your side. It's a good thing that money can buy that these days.

7. The Undercover - You're not actually a Master. You're at the auction for an entirely different reason. Maybe it's special policework, maybe you're trying to hunt down a certain someone. Either way, your cover is blown unless you act the part.

"You're not very bright, are you? You don't think about what you're doing. About what position you're in. About what's going to happen do you when we get back to my home," Derek asks, dropping the leash and yanking Stiles up by the roots of his hair. "Say it again and you're getting a shock collar. I've got one in the car just waiting for you."

"I'm not a damn dog," Stiles breathed out between his clenched teeth as he was forced to his feet by his hair. It hurt and it caused his anger to grow with his new Master. He spit in Derek's face, his saliva was mixed with blood, and he punched the werewolf.

The punch didn't hurt too much but it did catch him off guard. He reached for the leash, yanking on it hard to knock the boy to his knees again. The wolf shifts quickly, moving to put Stiles in a headlock. "I don't want to knock you out but I will if I have to," he growls, fangs brushing against the shell of Stiles' ear.

Stiles' grunted as he was once more forced to his knees. Then Derek had him in a headlock and Stiles stopped struggling. Derek was a lot more powerful than him and while Stiles might be angry he didn't want to die. Killing a slave was a waste of money but that was about it. It wasn't illegal because slaves were seen as property and not actually people.

"I'll behave," Stiles gritted out."

"Why don't I believe you," Derek snarled through his fangs, tightening his arm around Stiles' neck but not enough where his airway would be cut off. Derek really didn't want to waste his investment by killing him before he even got him to the car. "Please. Make me believe you."

Stiles clenched his jaw because he was very much tempted to punch Derek in the face but instead he lowered his eyes, submitting. He then cupped Derek's groin through the werewolf's pants. When Stiles was out of options he always resorted to sex. It usually made his masters forget what had caused them to be angry with Stiles in the first place.

That may have worked with his human masters but it wasn't going to work with Derek. "I'm giving you two seconds to remove your hand before I start breaking fingers," he whispered into his ear. Oh, he'd get to the sex later, once he got through the other parts of the boy's training.

"Then how the hell am I suppose to prove it?" Stiles demanded as he removed his hand. He looked up at the werewolf and scowled at him. He clearly didn't understand what Derek wanted from him in that moment as he couldn't kneel or properly move.

"When I release you, you're to do exactly as I say, do you understand," he ordered. "No more of this. I won't have it. You could have been purchased by someone far worse than me. I prevented that. Now knock it the fuck off."

"Right because you've been so damn gentle," Stiles argued back but he didn't put up a fight. He nodded at Derek's words and waited for the werewolf to release him. Derek might have saved Stiles from a worse fate but right then to Stiles, Derek was the worse fate.

"I will be if you behave," Derek informs him, releasing Stiles from the choke hold. He gathers up the leash yet again and starts for the car.

Stiles had a smart remark regarding Derek's words but he kept them to himself because his face already hurt from the werewolf's hard hits. He did let out a breath and followed Derek as his new master led him towards a car.

Derek was clearly going to be different from his other masters and Stiles was no longer sure he would be able to out last the werewolf. He would have to give it a bit more time before he tried to make his daring escape.

Derek would end up keeping the new pet on severe lock down for the first few weeks at least. He'd stay in one room and one room only. He knew he wouldn't be able to trust Stiles with anything if this is how he was going to act before he even got him home.

When they got in the car Derek opened the passenger door for him, pulling out a set of leather cuffs. "Get in and put your seatbelt on."

"Oooo look at me. I get to sit in the passenger seat and everything?" Stiles mocked as he watched Derek pull out a pair of leather cuffs. He did how ever roll his eyes. Like he would make the mistake of trying to run right then and there. He had done that once and it hadn't ended well for him.

Stiles did get into the car and with a put upon sigh he did up his seatbelt. He raised an eyebrow and looked at Derek. "Happy?"

Derek waited patiently for Stiles to get situated, his eyes never leaving Stiles. This pet, even though he was going to be hard to deal with, was going to be a wise investment. If he didn't get too attached. And he'd have to make sure that his Uncle didn't get a hold of him either. Peter had a thing for 'the pretty ones' as he called them.

Yes, Stiles was beautiful but Derek knew that all Peter would have done was beat him and break him until he was useless. He slowly took a breath and counted to 5, staying calm as Stiles ran his mouth. "Ecstatic. Wrists, now," he ordered, holding out an open cuff.

"Why? So I can't make a suicidal jump out of the car when you're driving?" Stiles asked but he put his hands out so Derek could put the leather restraints on. Stiles would pick and choose his battles to fight Derek on and this wasn't one of them. Being put in restraints wasn't a big thing. Stiles had lived most of his life in them.

"So you can't make a run for it at a stop light," Derek says as he buckles the cuffs around each wrist, attaching the links between the cuffs to an anchor on the dashboard. He figured that Stiles was used to cuffs. He was probably used to metal ones too. But Derek wouldn't put him in metal ones yet. Those were used for much larger offenses than calling Derek an asshole.

"Been there. Done that. Helpful assholes took me down before I could get to far away," Stiles said honestly and with a sigh. He leaned back in his seat, hands out front of him. He pulled and jingled the restraints. They were solid restraints, nothing he would be able to break easily. His new master wasn't playing around.

"How am I suppose to give you a hand job like this?"

"And that's why you're being handcuffed to the car," Derek says with a quick flash of a smile. He closes the door and slips into the front seat of his Camaro.

Derek sighs as he starts the engine and pulls away from the auction house, heading back to his house. "You're not. That part of your training will wait till later."

"You didn't buy me as a pleasure slave?" Stiles asked with a frown as he looked over at Derek. This was a first. All of his previous masters had bought him for one sole reason which is why Stiles had tried to run so often, why he acted out so much.

His frowned deepened. "Then why did you buy me?"

Derek took a breath, wondering how he was going to explain it. He never really had to before, at least not to a slave. "My family are trainers. We take unruly slaves, train them better, break them if we need to," he says after clearing his throat.

He glances over to the pet next to him. "We train them better than they were before and sell them for a profit." But Stiles... Stiles was different than the last 4 slaves Derek had trained. This one had a fire inside him that he hadn't seen before in a slave. "However... I might have to keep you for myself."

Stiles laughed. He threw his head back and laughed at Derek's words. "You think you're going to train me? Break me? Right," Stiles said with a snort and a mocking grin on his lips. "You won't be the first person to tell me that and then give up. You'll give up before I break." Stiles sounded smug and he felt it too. He had broken four other masters and he planned on breaking Derek.

"You're not threatened by that idea... Most slaves clam up by this point, offer sexual favors, offer their own lives. They don't want to be owned by a Hale. Mostly that's because of my Uncle though. He nearly kills all his pets," Derek says softly, eyes still on the road.

Stiles did go still at the mention of 'Hale'. Oh shit. Even Stiles had heard about the Hales and how well they do with horrible slaves. But Derek also mentioned an Uncle that nearly kills his pets. That had to be Peter Hale which meant the person driving the car wasn't Peter. Maybe lady luck hadn't left him completely.

Not wanting Derek to know just how much it was effecting to know that he had been bought by a Hale he snorted. "You'll find out quickly that I'm not most slaves. I thought me calling you an asshole not once but twice in public no less would have shown that but I guess not. I'll have to step it up."

It didn't matter if Stiles went still or didn't react at all, Derek could still smell the fear and then relief on Stiles. "Oh no. I know you're not like most slaves. Most have two extremes. They either scream themselves hoarse or they go silent. You're just talking like you're my equal," Derek says with a smile. "It's refreshing."
