SLAVES

1. The Newbie - This is your very first auction and you don't quite know what to expect. Hopefully you remember your training and don't disgrace yourself in front of your new master. Hopefully someone thinks you're worth buying at all.

2. The Oldtimer - You've been bought and sold and bought again so many times. You've seen it all before and don't think this time is going to be much different. In fact, the only real anxiety you've got is whether or not someone's going to pay for a more than slightly used slave.

3. The Pet - You're a pleasure slave. A bed warmer. A decorative piece of artwork. You're meant to look pretty and be pleasing and not much else.

4. The Guard - Your master hired you because of your ability to swing a sword or shoot a gun, not your looks.

5. The Escape Artist - Somehow you always manage to squirm out of your master's chains. Too bad you seem to get caught after a while. Maybe your next daring escape will be permanent. Then again, maybe your next master has special ways of keeping you locked up.

6. The Undercover - You aren't a slave at all, you're just pretending to be one. Why? Well that's up to you. Either way, your cover is blown if you don't act the part.

7. The Specialist - You have a skill that no one else has. Something rare and valuable. Something your master needs more than anything else.

MASTERS

1. The Customer - You've owned slaves before and this trip to the market is nothing new to you. Still, you're hoping to find something worth your while.

2. The Gift - Someone bought a pet for you, isn't that nice of them? Or maybe it isn't so nice. Did you even want a slave in the first place? Well you're stuck with one now.

3. The Giver - You're selecting a slave for someone else, and they need to be perfect. Perhaps you'd better test them out first to make sure you're getting your money's worth.

4. The Trainer - You specialize in taming unruly slaves and making them over into perfect, obedient, well-trained pets.

5. The Rebel - You hate the idea of slavery, but the system isn't going to go away any time soon, so the next best thing is to buy up any slave you can get your hands on and free them, right?

6. The Companion - You want someone to be with you always, someone you can talk to and depend on, someone who will never leave your side. It's a good thing that money can buy that these days.

7. The Undercover - You're not actually a Master. You're at the auction for an entirely different reason. Maybe it's special policework, maybe you're trying to hunt down a certain someone. Either way, your cover is blown unless you act the part.

"20 minutes." Stiles countered just because he could. He was pushing all of his boundaries, seeing just how far he could go and what he could get away with. So far it was a lot. Derek was definitely going to be easy to control. Maybe the Hale trainers weren't as good as everyone said they were.

"10 and after that I come in and drag you out by that collar of yours," Derek says, his voice not giving him any room to argue. The werewolf wasn't going to be easy to control at all. He wasn't going to be controlled by a pet. "Argue again and you get a cold shower. Argue yet again and I chain you to the basement and hose you down, understood?"

Stiles made a face at Derek. Clearly he had pushed as far as he could go for now. Lifting his nose in the air, like he was better than the werewolf, Stiles brushed past him and into the bathroom. He quickly slammed the door in Derek's face.

Once alone Stiles let out a breath and looked at himself in the mirror. There was a bruise on his cheek but he had a lot worse. He looked at the overly tight collar. It was nice, nothing special, but again he had had a lot worse. With a sigh he stripped out of the clothes the auction house had given put on him and quickly stepped into the large luxurious shower. Definitely the best he had come across yet.

Stiles took his time in the shower and ten minutes came and went and he was still in it.

Derek watched Stiles until the boy was safely in the bathroom. He quietly stepped over to it and locked the door from the outside, making sure Stiles couldn't run anywhere. He slipped the key for the bathroom into his pocket and went downstairs to make Stiles a sandwich and cut up some strawberries for him to him to eat. He didn't want his pet malnourished.

But when Derek came back up and Stiles was still in the water, he sighed, checking his watch. 13 minutes. He paused for a moment, contemplating what Stiles' punishment would be, before setting the plate on top of the cage and unlocking the bathroom door. He wasn't going to give Stiles a warning. He opened the shower door and reached for the collar, dragging Stiles naked and wet out of the shower and onto the floor.

"What did I say to you before you went in here," he snarls at the boy.

"Oh come on!" Stiles complained as he was yanked out of the nice warm shower and out onto the cold bathroom floor. The cooler air hit him and he started to shiver as he glared at Derek. "That was the first hot shower in weeks. Weeks! Is it so horrible that I took longer than you wanted me to?" Stiles demanded wrapping arms around him. He wasn't embarrassed of his body, no, the skinny teen was just cold.

"Yes. It is. You disobeyed me. A direct order. I told you 10 minutes and you took longer," Derek says, dropping Stiles onto the bathroom rug. "For that, next shower you get is a cold one."

Derek wasn't going to let the slave get away with this. "Now... I was nice enough to make you food. Do you think you should get it now that you've disobeyed me," he asks, tossing a towel down at Stiles from the rack.

"Wait... what?" Stiles asked with a frown as he wrapped himself up in a towel. He hadn't been expecting food. Derek had taken that away as punishment for running. The teen's frown deepened.

"What's the trick?" Stiles asked not trusting Derek at all or his motives concerning deciding to feeding him.

"No trick. You haven't eaten in 3 days. And I was being generous," Derek said, arms folded over his chest. He wasn't angry exactly. He was just really disappointed in his new purchase. He thought Stiles would have been smarter than this. "You had to disobey yet again, for the... fourth... fifth... sixth time tonight?"

Stiles was silent as he ticked off on his fingers every time he was disobedient, like he was proud of them. Which he was. Asshole. Asshole. Questions. Running away. Being dragged back. More questions. Bedroom. And finally the bathroom. "You're actually on the low side of how many times I've disobeyed. And the first two were in public. That can't be good for the Hale name."

The Master frowned, watching Stiles flippant attitude about this whole thing. It confused him how much Stiles seemed to not care about anything.

"You have no fear, do you... none at all. I hoped you would care more about your own life than this. Because here I am, trying to be nice to you as much as I can and you're acting like this."

He leaned down closer to the freshly washed pet, taking in all the moles and freckles peppered across Stiles' face. "And since you're going back on every order I give you, how about I go back on some of what I've said. So... remember how I said no cage? Guess what. You're getting the cage tonight."

Stiles paled at Derek's words and it took everything in the slave not to punch the master right where he stood leaning over him. He knew he had blown it the moment he reacted to the sight of the cage and now Derek was using it against him.

"You said I had a choice," Stiles spoke, his voice tense as he looked up at Derek from where he was on the floor wrapped in a towel. "You can't change your mind."

"I did say you had a choice. And you had a choice to obey me. You decided that wasn't for you and now you're going to have to deal with the consequences," Derek explained, watching Stiles closely.

This time Stiles did give into his urge and he punched Derek in the face. He saw no point in holding back as Derek had changed his mind and was now punishing him. Stiles hated cages, specially small ones, and so he shoved the werewolf and moved for the door. Another weak escape attempt.

Derek grunted at the punch and then the shove, falling backwards onto his ass. But when Derek sat back up he was fully shifted; ears, claws, fangs, the works. He growled loudly, grabbing his slave's ankle to yank him back before he could get too far away.

God damn, Derek was fast. Faster than any of his other masters. Stiles hadn't even gotten out the door before he felt Derek's grip on his ankle and the slave was being pulled back.

Stiles looked back and his eyes went wide at the fully shifted Derek. "What the hell?!"

With another yank he pulled Stiles back to him, crawling over Stiles and growling in his face, jaw snapping at the slave. Derek was done playing nice. He tried to be nice. He tried to help Stiles, treat him as well as a Master could with a runaway slave. A clawed hand wraps around Stiles' collared neck and Derek stands, dragging the naked slave behind him, heading straight towards the cage. If Stiles was going to get out of this now he better start begging.

Dear lord werewolves in their shifted form were terrifying. Stiles' brain just froze for a long moment as he took in Derek's face and before he realize what was happening he was being dragged towards the cage by his collar.

"Wait! Wait! Wait! I'll be good!" Stiles said scrambling to get onto his feet but Derek was fast and strong. "I'll behave! I'll listen! Please don't put me in the cage!" Stiles would stink of fear as he continued to scramble.

There was the normal scent of fear that Stiles has been missing this whole time. Apparently all it took was his shifted form and threat of being put in the cage to get the human to comply. Derek stilled, blue eyes staring down at the human.

"You will listen to me and do exactly what I tell you. Do you understand." His voice was low, near a growl, leaving no space for Stiles to argue, only comply.

"Yes, sir," Stiles said softly swallowing hard as he looked up at Derek. There was relief now mixed in with his fear because he really really hated the thought of spending the night in the cage.

"I know you don't like the idea of staying the cage. I can smell it on you. You're terrified of it. I'd rather not use it on you," Derek says, still fully shifted. He glances at the plate of food perched on top of the cage.

Slowly he lets go of the slave, blue eyes boring into Stiles' beautiful brown. "Stay," he orders, but he doesn't walk away. He watches Stiles, waiting for the pet to do something.

Stiles stayed where he was. He had pushed Derek way past breaking and now Stiles would have to let his pride suffer as he listened and obeyed to the werewolf. He hated it but he hated the cage more.

"Can you have the cage removed from the room?" Stiles asked not moving from his position on the floor, he doesn't even sit up though he was dying to.

"No," Derek answered quickly as he turned to get some clean clothes for the boy. He wouldn't remove it yet. Maybe in a few days if Stiles could prove he could behave.

He went through some extra clothes that he had purchased for his last male slave. They might be a little small on him but Derek wouldn't have him catching cold and getting sick.

"You're going to use it as a punishing tool, aren't you," Stiles said with a sigh. He hated that Derek had something that would make Stiles behave. If he just hadn't reacted to the damn thing then this wouldn't be happening. Derek would still be eating out of his hands.

"If it means anything, I don't want to use it on you. So how about you don't make me," Derek says, turning back to Stiles with soft pajama pants and a shirt in hand. Derek rolled his shoulders and cracked his neck, shifting back easily back to his normal human form before stepping forward to give the clothes to Stiles.

"Then don't threaten me with it if you won't want to use it," Stiles said as he finally sat up from his position on the floor. He took the clothing and frowned for a soft moment before looking up at the werewolf who was now fully human with a raised eyebrow.

"You're giving me clothing?"
