Warning: Be aware that this meme deals with dark subjects like slavery and may also contain non-consensual/dubiously consensual sex, violence, and kink.

SLAVES

1. The Newbie - This is your very first auction and you don't quite know what to expect. Hopefully you remember your training and don't disgrace yourself in front of your new master. Hopefully someone thinks you're worth buying at all.

2. The Oldtimer - You've been bought and sold and bought again so many times. You've seen it all before and don't think this time is going to be much different. In fact, the only real anxiety you've got is whether or not someone's going to pay for a more than slightly used slave.

3. The Pet - You're a pleasure slave. A bed warmer. A decorative piece of artwork. You're meant to look pretty and be pleasing and not much else.

4. The Guard - Your master hired you because of your ability to swing a sword or shoot a gun, not your looks.

5. The Escape Artist - Somehow you always manage to squirm out of your master's chains. Too bad you seem to get caught after a while. Maybe your next daring escape will be permanent. Then again, maybe your next master has special ways of keeping you locked up.

6. The Undercover - You aren't a slave at all, you're just pretending to be one. Why? Well that's up to you. Either way, your cover is blown if you don't act the part.

7. The Specialist - You have a skill that no one else has. Something rare and valuable. Something your master needs more than anything else.

MASTERS

1. The Customer - You've owned slaves before and this trip to the market is nothing new to you. Still, you're hoping to find something worth your while.

2. The Gift - Someone bought a pet for you, isn't that nice of them? Or maybe it isn't so nice. Did you even want a slave in the first place? Well you're stuck with one now.

3. The Giver - You're selecting a slave for someone else, and they need to be perfect. Perhaps you'd better test them out first to make sure you're getting your money's worth.

4. The Trainer - You specialize in taming unruly slaves and making them over into perfect, obedient, well-trained pets.

5. The Rebel - You hate the idea of slavery, but the system isn't going to go away any time soon, so the next best thing is to buy up any slave you can get your hands on and free them, right?

6. The Companion - You want someone to be with you always, someone you can talk to and depend on, someone who will never leave your side. It's a good thing that money can buy that these days.

7. The Undercover - You're not actually a Master. You're at the auction for an entirely different reason. Maybe it's special policework, maybe you're trying to hunt down a certain someone. Either way, your cover is blown unless you act the part.

"Three days!" Stiles yelled in angry as he struggled in Derek's grip, his eyes not leaving the cage. He struggled and fought and tried to step on Derek's feet as much as possible. Stiles had a bad experience in a cage much smaller than the one in Derek's room and there was no way he was going to repeat it.

"Let go!"

Derek immediately let go, hoping Stiles wouldn't choose to run. He could see Stiles did not like the cage and he didn't want to put his new pet in any more trauma if he could help it. "See, was it really that hard, was it? Now. I'm going to get you cleaned up. If you behave you can stay in the bed. If not, then you go in the cage. What are you going to do?"

Stiles backed away from Derek and the cage, scowling at the werewolf. Stiles knew then he made a mistake at showing his hatred for the cage as he had no doubt that Derek would use it as a punishment whenever possible now. The thought made him scowl even more.

"I can clean myself," Stiles stated as he stayed where he was. "I don't need your help."

Derek didn't want to punish Stiles at all. But that was up to Stiles how he was treated, not his Master. "I'm sure you don't. I'm still going to supervise you. And I only got to see you briefly nude. I'd like to appraise my purchase again. Now..." Derek gestured to the bathroom door that was already partially open, not wanting to make a move toward him and scare him off.

"No way. You stay on the outside of this door," Stiles argued even though he knew he wouldn't win. He scowled and stood his ground even though his gaze kept going to the cage. "And sleeping in your bed isn't any better than the damn cage."

Derek frowned, glancing at the cage for a moment. He could give him something.

"Alright. I'll give you this. I won't watch you while you take a shower. However. You get to choose. The crate, or the bed. I'm not going to touch you. I just can't let you out of my sight this early on," he says, mentally confirming that everything was locked away in the bathroom besides soap. While Stiles was washing Derek would go get him some dinner. Something light. Probably soup so he wouldn't be sick after so many days of not eating.

"Or you could just lock me up in another room far far away from you," Stiles stated but there was a hint of a grin on his lips now. Derek was giving into his demands and it hadn't even been a day yet. He had been right about having the werewolf eating out of the palm of his hands.

"Also I'm mark free. The salve they use at the auction house made any scars or marks go away."

(Going with a salve that is mixed with werewolf blood to enchance the healing ability so marks like brands and tattoos are t lasting on slaves with many masters.)

"I'm glad to hear you're unmarked but that wasn't why I wanted to see you. It'll have to wait till next time then. And no. I'm keeping you right with me all night long," Derek says, gesturing towards the bathroom again. "Now. I expect you done within 10 minutes."

(Sounds good to me.)

"20 minutes." Stiles countered just because he could. He was pushing all of his boundaries, seeing just how far he could go and what he could get away with. So far it was a lot. Derek was definitely going to be easy to control. Maybe the Hale trainers weren't as good as everyone said they were.

"10 and after that I come in and drag you out by that collar of yours," Derek says, his voice not giving him any room to argue. The werewolf wasn't going to be easy to control at all. He wasn't going to be controlled by a pet. "Argue again and you get a cold shower. Argue yet again and I chain you to the basement and hose you down, understood?"

Stiles made a face at Derek. Clearly he had pushed as far as he could go for now. Lifting his nose in the air, like he was better than the werewolf, Stiles brushed past him and into the bathroom. He quickly slammed the door in Derek's face.

Once alone Stiles let out a breath and looked at himself in the mirror. There was a bruise on his cheek but he had a lot worse. He looked at the overly tight collar. It was nice, nothing special, but again he had had a lot worse. With a sigh he stripped out of the clothes the auction house had given put on him and quickly stepped into the large luxurious shower. Definitely the best he had come across yet.

Stiles took his time in the shower and ten minutes came and went and he was still in it.

Derek watched Stiles until the boy was safely in the bathroom. He quietly stepped over to it and locked the door from the outside, making sure Stiles couldn't run anywhere. He slipped the key for the bathroom into his pocket and went downstairs to make Stiles a sandwich and cut up some strawberries for him to him to eat. He didn't want his pet malnourished.

But when Derek came back up and Stiles was still in the water, he sighed, checking his watch. 13 minutes. He paused for a moment, contemplating what Stiles' punishment would be, before setting the plate on top of the cage and unlocking the bathroom door. He wasn't going to give Stiles a warning. He opened the shower door and reached for the collar, dragging Stiles naked and wet out of the shower and onto the floor.

"What did I say to you before you went in here," he snarls at the boy.

"Oh come on!" Stiles complained as he was yanked out of the nice warm shower and out onto the cold bathroom floor. The cooler air hit him and he started to shiver as he glared at Derek. "That was the first hot shower in weeks. Weeks! Is it so horrible that I took longer than you wanted me to?" Stiles demanded wrapping arms around him. He wasn't embarrassed of his body, no, the skinny teen was just cold.

"Yes. It is. You disobeyed me. A direct order. I told you 10 minutes and you took longer," Derek says, dropping Stiles onto the bathroom rug. "For that, next shower you get is a cold one."

Derek wasn't going to let the slave get away with this. "Now... I was nice enough to make you food. Do you think you should get it now that you've disobeyed me," he asks, tossing a towel down at Stiles from the rack.

"Wait... what?" Stiles asked with a frown as he wrapped himself up in a towel. He hadn't been expecting food. Derek had taken that away as punishment for running. The teen's frown deepened.

"What's the trick?" Stiles asked not trusting Derek at all or his motives concerning deciding to feeding him.

"No trick. You haven't eaten in 3 days. And I was being generous," Derek said, arms folded over his chest. He wasn't angry exactly. He was just really disappointed in his new purchase. He thought Stiles would have been smarter than this. "You had to disobey yet again, for the... fourth... fifth... sixth time tonight?"

Stiles was silent as he ticked off on his fingers every time he was disobedient, like he was proud of them. Which he was. Asshole. Asshole. Questions. Running away. Being dragged back. More questions. Bedroom. And finally the bathroom. "You're actually on the low side of how many times I've disobeyed. And the first two were in public. That can't be good for the Hale name."

The Master frowned, watching Stiles flippant attitude about this whole thing. It confused him how much Stiles seemed to not care about anything.

"You have no fear, do you... none at all. I hoped you would care more about your own life than this. Because here I am, trying to be nice to you as much as I can and you're acting like this."

He leaned down closer to the freshly washed pet, taking in all the moles and freckles peppered across Stiles' face. "And since you're going back on every order I give you, how about I go back on some of what I've said. So... remember how I said no cage? Guess what. You're getting the cage tonight."

Stiles paled at Derek's words and it took everything in the slave not to punch the master right where he stood leaning over him. He knew he had blown it the moment he reacted to the sight of the cage and now Derek was using it against him.

"You said I had a choice," Stiles spoke, his voice tense as he looked up at Derek from where he was on the floor wrapped in a towel. "You can't change your mind."

"I did say you had a choice. And you had a choice to obey me. You decided that wasn't for you and now you're going to have to deal with the consequences," Derek explained, watching Stiles closely.

This time Stiles did give into his urge and he punched Derek in the face. He saw no point in holding back as Derek had changed his mind and was now punishing him. Stiles hated cages, specially small ones, and so he shoved the werewolf and moved for the door. Another weak escape attempt.

Derek grunted at the punch and then the shove, falling backwards onto his ass. But when Derek sat back up he was fully shifted; ears, claws, fangs, the works. He growled loudly, grabbing his slave's ankle to yank him back before he could get too far away.

God damn, Derek was fast. Faster than any of his other masters. Stiles hadn't even gotten out the door before he felt Derek's grip on his ankle and the slave was being pulled back.

Stiles looked back and his eyes went wide at the fully shifted Derek. "What the hell?!"

With another yank he pulled Stiles back to him, crawling over Stiles and growling in his face, jaw snapping at the slave. Derek was done playing nice. He tried to be nice. He tried to help Stiles, treat him as well as a Master could with a runaway slave. A clawed hand wraps around Stiles' collared neck and Derek stands, dragging the naked slave behind him, heading straight towards the cage. If Stiles was going to get out of this now he better start begging.

Dear lord werewolves in their shifted form were terrifying. Stiles' brain just froze for a long moment as he took in Derek's face and before he realize what was happening he was being dragged towards the cage by his collar.

"Wait! Wait! Wait! I'll be good!" Stiles said scrambling to get onto his feet but Derek was fast and strong. "I'll behave! I'll listen! Please don't put me in the cage!" Stiles would stink of fear as he continued to scramble.
