Sometimes, these things happen. Sometimes, you're in just the wrong place at just the right time, or you've made the wrong (or right, depending on your intentions) person mad. Sometimes it's better for everyone if you just go. Sometimes there isn't time for good-bye.

LOST
You've managed to lose yourself somewhere out there, for whatever reason it was. Maybe you took someone with you (willingly? not?), or you found someone else who needed to disappear as badly as you did. You're in your car, or a cheap hotel, or a house by the side of the road. What else can you do but watch, and wait?

FOUND
It could have been as simple as being glimpsed at the 7-11. Your phoneline wasn't as secure as you thought. You locked eyes with the wrong person across the room. Now the house of cards is collapsing, and maybe not just your life, but the lives of everyone you love could be in jeopardy now. The walls are closing in, and your arms are giving out.

Four months, one week and three days. That was the last he saw her. Trip had initially blamed himself for not convincing Sarah that he could keep her safe. It obviously wasn't enough proof that his family had raised him in a happy home regardless of his grandfather's history. The night they confirmed her pregnancy, she took matters into her own hands than trust in him.

Operatives knew how to disappear. It was what they were trained repeatedly to do. From what he knew of Hydra, Sarah would only be found if she wanted to be. That didn't stop him from trying. He returned to SHIELD and ran all the missions Coulson needed in return for getting as much help from his team as possible in finding Sarah. It had been a fight to have them believe she hadn't turned on him. In the end, they might have only gone along with Trip as a favor to him.

It may have helped matters if he disclosed her pregnancy but Antoine wouldn't betray the agreement they made. He refused to believe she chose to go back to Hydra though Sarah hadn't left him a note with any kind of direction as to her exit. However, he could tell she had left of her own volition with the security measures disarmed and items missing they had brought with them. There was little comfort in the fact that she left and wasn't taken.

He also tried not to think the worst over all of their personal items remaining. Maybe he had missed something she secretly kept. Or maybe it meant Sarah didn't need a memento because she planned on coming back. He had given her a week before packing up and leaving the condo in Miami. Trip didn't empty out the place but packed their pictures and anything that could identify them. If she came back to their place, the security measures in place would notify him. He even left weapons and ammunition for her possible return.

One week turned into another and another with no word on Sarah. Coulson had to order Triplett to sleep nearly every few days after reports from Simmons, Skye and May that the man was tirelessly working SHIELD operations in addition to his personal mission. Just shy of two months since her departure did a report come in about a large Hydra facility being burned to the ground. All the surveillance footage confirming Sarah at the location.

Antoine Triplett fell to his knees. They went out on him as did any feeling in his body. He was gutted worse than when Sarah revealed herself to him. A future he imagined was taken away in that instant. There was no comfort in the reports that she was responsible for the destruction. He was numb. Jemma immediately identified his symptoms as shock. She took turns with Skye at his bedside when he finally stopped looking through the video footage for signs that Sarah escaped.

Fitz went to work, continuing to dissect the satellite images once Antoine had crumbled with grief and exhaustion. May kept vigil around the quinjet, anticipating that the grieving man might make a decision in haste and leave with one of their most valuable assets. The team rallied around him instead of making a move on the dismantled facility. Coulson made the call that they leave as soon as Triplett was up to it. They left six hours later.

Mack, Hunter and Morse joined Coulson, May, Skye, Simmons and Trip to the site. Fitz remained behind to continue reviewing data. The engineer was the team's eyes and ears from the outside. Mack was on standby for any mechanical help that might be needed just as Jemma was there for any medical assistance. May flew with Coulson than her usual co-pilot. Triplett was the quietest Skye had ever seen him as they flew. His disposition remained the same when they infiltrated the burning base.

Coulson intervened when Trip continued going through rubble after making three rounds on the sizable facility. "We have DNA samples. There's nothing more we can do. Let's go back and see if any are a match. Maybe she found a way out that we haven't seen yet..." Phil tried to give Antoine hope. It was the only way the man finally let go and left with them. Simmons went right to work on samples soon as they returned to the SHIELD base. There were other findings that could help their agency which she could have done first but wouldn't. Her friend deserved peace of mind.

"I'm so sorry, Trip... It's a match. She's gone..."

He slept for days as if to catch up with the month and a half of running himself ragged. Again, Skye and Jemma took turns looking after him. It took two weeks before May stepped in. She wasn't callus by any means but she did take a 'soldier up' stance. It was that exchange that gave Triplett direction. He had more reason than before to bring Hydra to its knees. Imagine his surprise five weeks later when he found Sarah coming out of a woman's clinic with quite a baby bump.

The sight left him speechless. A million thoughts ran through his mind. Maybe Simmons had gotten the DNA wrong. Sarah was a clone after all. The markers were specific, he understood but there was a pregnant woman who wasn't the twin she had told him about. Triplett completely lost his bearings, forgetting he was on a mission to set up surveillance. No matter that there was chatter in his comm calling his name. He put a finger in his ear and went radio silent.

"Sarah?" he finally called out though his throat felt as if it had closed up on him.

This stretch of the road was lonely, tucked away as it was in a forested nook. It served as both a detriment and a blessing for Ava who was currently on the run. She'd lost her horse earlier and had been slowly making her way on foot. However, running for long periods in plate armor, no mater how enchanted it was to be light and serviceable, meant she was nearing the end of her endurance. Feeling the fatigue, she stopped, trying to catch her breath and ended up leaning heavily against a tree with her forehead pressed into the bark of the old wood.

But, tonight, he isn't. At first, Baymax was only slightly concerned, after all, teenagers need 8 to 10 hours of sleep each night and there was still plenty of time for him to get in on the lower end of the scale.

However, as time stretched on, Baymax's worry increases to the point where he tops off his batteries with a quick charge and then he heads on out into the city to look for Hiro.

It takes some time for him to spot his patient, he had used his scanner to look down alleyways until he found the right one.

He's not liking what data he's picking up from Hiro and wants a visual confirmation of what he's observing.

As fast as his inflated legs can take him, Baymax waddles down the alley, calling out for his patient.]

Alarms blared. That was the trouble with Torchwood, their security was just too good. Oh, yes, breaking in had been a dawdle, but getting back out was proving to be much harder. It certainly didn't help that the TARDIS wasn't able to materialize for more than a few minutes without burning up more energy than she could afford. Nothing for it but to leg it.

He ducked into an office and shut the door, hastily locking it with the sonic. Right. Office, probably a dead end, unless there was a handy man-sized vent conveniently placed where he could access it. Somehow, he doubted a facility that seemed to view leaving the premises to be a privilege had such an obvious weak point. Still, stranger things had happened, and at least he had a few minutes to himself to come up with a plan.

... Or that was the idea, anyway. Funny how things never quite worked out the way he wanted them to. He turned away from the door and came up short on seeing that he was not, in fact, alone. Oh, not at all alone, and how he wished he was.
