Maybe you're part of one of those big paranormal research societies that have their own TV show, top of the line equipment, and everything. Maybe you're an aspiring director who's noticed the boom of paranormal TV shows lately and decided to cash in the time is right for your art. Or maybe you and your friends just decided that messing around in someplace that's supposed to be haunted sounded like a fun way to spend an evening, especially when there may or may not be beer involved. Whatever the reason may be, you've decided to go
GHOST HUNTING

1. Setting Up: You're on location, and the locals have told you about the place's super creepy history and why it's definitely haunted. It's time to start unpacking your gear and encountering some ghosts. You just noticed that the clouds in the sky are forming an X over the location - just like the electrical tape X's you used to mark locations for your infrared cameras! - so you know you're going to get a lot of activity tonight.
2. YOU GUYS WHAT WAS THAT NOISE: There's no way that was just the building settling, and wind definitely doesn't make a sound like that! Clearly, something paranormal is afoot (a spooky, disembodied foot) here.
3. Era Cues: One of the best ways to draw out ghosts is through the use of stimuli from the era in which they died - so put on some oldschool jazz, light up a cigar, and start cooking some down-home southern cuisine. It's for science!
4. EVP Time: Your completely uncalibrated EMF detector just started spiking, and you may or may not have felt a cold breeze just now, so the spirits must be with you! Switch on that tape recorder and start asking them some questions, and maybe you'll be able to pick their responses out of the background noise (what is a "pareidolia," anyway?)
5. Motion Detector Mayhem: The device you bought to make a horrific racket if anything moves is making a horrific racket, and what could possibly move in an empty, dark room where your teammates totally haven't been except for a ghost? You haven't even seen any huge moths since you began this investigation, so it has to be something paranormal!
6. COME AT ME BRO: Provoking the ghosts is a really good idea. Shouting and posturing at the air like a tough guy makes you look cool, and it's always the best way to-- oh god, did something just scratch you?!
7. The Infrared Camera Just Caught Something: Or maybe it was the ultraviolet camera, or hell, maybe even the regular old visible light camera. Either way, it definitely wasn't one of your teammates sneaking off to take a leak or a smoke without telling anyone else, unlike the last four times, because everyone is finally present and accounted for. Which leaves only one thing it could be...
8. That Object Just Moved!: Despite the fact that you finally wised up and placed the trigger object far away from your camera cords or anything that you could trip over, it just fell over. And that piece of concrete that just landed next to your foot? It totally didn't come from the ceiling - it had to have been thrown by something!
9. Possession: Suddenly, one of your teammates can't quite seem to remember his last name, and is talking about how he'll "scuttle your legs" - or maybe he's talking about how this place fills him with demonic rage, or just acting dumber than usual. Either way, he's obviously been possessed by an entity!

Has your character ever been spirited away against their will? Either dragged out for a night on the town by a friend, or forcibly tied up and stuffed into a dufflebag by a masked stanger and whisked away to a dark abandoned warehouse? No? Well now's your chance. Whether you want to play out something silly, fluffy, sexy, or even a little on the dark side, this is the meme for you!
The rules:
1) Post with your characters and put their names and fandoms in the subject line.
2) Reply to other characters and either roll with the RNG to pick a number, or if you'd prefer, just pick one that you really want to play out.
3) The person replying is now kidnapping the person who originally posted. Play out the scenario and have fun.

HOW WOULD THEY REACT?
Three little words. No, not those. Not "share your fries," either, it's not that serious.
"I want you." So much said in so little. Now, what happens next?
❤ You know how the record plays.
❤ NO BLANK TOP LEVELS. Your character just had someone tell them that they want them. How do they respond? Take charge, swoop in for a kiss? Put some moves on them? Cry? Offer them an egg in this trying time? If you tell them to get out of your house, you don't know them, that's valid too. Whatever works! Just give us a line of dialogue here or some action spam there. Play it straight. Play it goofy. Be sexy and be excellent.

1. Eye on you. Eye Gouging. Perhaps it was an accident, or you wanted a token of your lover to keep. Either way, it’s coming out. Now is the jar ready? Or will you be crushing it between your fingers?
2. The rabbit done died. Abortion/Miscarriage. Perhaps things didn’t go to plan, or you just couldn’t keep it. Either way it’s over, and there is gore in the wake of the event.
3. The cage around your heart. Rib gouging or breaking. Are those lovely slender bones exposed or just crushed beneath black and blue skin?
4. Hats off to you. Decapitation. With a guillotine or perhaps the swing of the blade, the head is removed with an impressive slice. Perhaps you prefer a good saw however.
5. A bite to eat. Vore. Does the cannibal eat with his hands? Well he at least eats yours.
6. A helping hand. Amputation. Perhaps it was an infection, or an injury, but either way the limb must be removed.
7. A handkerchief please. Blood vomiting. Either from an injury or disease, maybe even poisoning, suddenly you’re choking on your own blood. Such a mess!
8. Bull’s-eye. Impalement. Well I guess you didn’t dodge in time! There is now a blade, spear, glass, cutlery, or any nasty thing slammed into your body.
9. Slice and dice. Cutting. Dozens, hundreds, maybe even thousands of little cuts into the skin.
10. Memento mori. Scarring. A nice little reminder of an injury to remain on the skin forever. By blade, branding, cauterization, or burning, the memory will remain etched on the body.
11. Pricks and pokes. Piercing. Pain is only skin deep, but the prick will become a permanent fixture in the skin.
12. My heart is yours. Heart removal. By hand or blade, it may be the ultimate act of loathing or love.
13. Visceral viciousness. Gutfucking. Such lovely innards you have!
14. Beautiful and awful dreams. Poisoning. Arsenic, cyanide, barbiturates; so many lovely little chemicals to induce agony or even death by the end. Administered by injection or orally, knowingly or unknowingly.
15. Turning a lovely shade of blue. Asphyxiation. Maybe that breath will return to your lungs, or maybe you'll breathe your last.
