The Kissing Scars Meme
Despite the romanticism surrounding the emotion, it can be difficult to be loved completely — not just the beautiful parts of us, but also the sad parts, the injured parts, the hidden and less-than-pleasant parts. There are marks on us, both physical and mental, that we'd often rather forget. The mental ones can just be easier to hide. As for physical scars, they can be off of our minds some of the time, but that's exceedingly hard to do in more intimate, close moments.

Whether it's to your dismay or otherwise, your partner is not looking away and ignoring your scars. To the contrary, they're providing attention in a way most heavily associated with tenderness: kissing. It may be an accidental slip-off target, or they may be trying to show you that what you've done and who you've been don't matter to them now.

Does the gesture touch you? Make the walls come up once again because of the memories that are dredged from somewhere you'd rather no-go? A mixture of both?

The wound has long closed, yet the pains remain; these days, however, there's someone who may be willing to help you bear it.

  • Reply with the usual: canon, character, preferences, et al. You may also want to say if you're down for smut or not, since it's not a given.
  • Be sure to include what side you'd like your character to play. Mention if you can do both the kisser and the kissed.
  • Also, feel free to talk about your character's scars.

The Hanahaki Disease Meme

The Hanahaki Disease is an illness born from one-sided love, where the patient throws up and coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. The infection can be removed through surgery, but the feelings disappear along with the petals...


1- Discovery:
There's the one person who makes your heart leap into your throat- but wait, that's not your heart. Where are all these flowers coming from? And why do they remind you of your beloved?

2- Concern:
Someone you know has been acting strange lately... Coughing a lot, hiding their hands all the time... It's enough to make anybody worry.

3- Sicker and Sicker:
Coughing up flower petals all the time isn't easy to hide. But it's getting harder to even breathe, now. You're going to have to make a decision, and soon...

4- Confession:
Everyone knows that there's two ways to get rid of Hanahaki: Surgery (the risk dependent on the time period), or confessing your feelings. Time to toe up and face your beloved and just tell them that you love them so much you're dying from it.

5- Post-Op:
The other option... You just couldn't tell them, but you weren't ready to die. Still, without those feelings the world seems a little less colorful. Can you still be friends with them now that you have to start all over? Do you want to?

6- Make your own!
There's flower petals coming out of somebody's mouth in some way for some reason- make this prompt your own.

Just as a note, due to the nature of the meme vivid descriptions of coughing/choking/gagging are probably going to happen. If you want it toned down, make sure to put that in your top-level.

Your experiences away from home have changed you; you might feel that you can't settle back into your old life, that your friends and family won't understand what you've been through. It's difficult for people who haven't been zapping around the omniverse to relate to you or your new view on things. Maybe you're looking for someplace to fit in... or maybe you're just not ready to stop adventuring yet!

Whatever your feelings are, wherever you've come from or whatever you've experienced, this is a meme for you.

Why are you so obsessed with me?  


Love and lust are all very well and good, but this meme is for when that white-hot desire tips into something darker, an all-consuming fire that licks at your every thought, that clenches around your every breath. It may be one-sided or it may be reciprocal, you may be the object or the subject or both simultaneously, but at least one of you is obsessed.

You can think of nothing but them. Your world, your heart, your very existence revolves around them.

Alcohol, an irresponsible situation, and a backseat of a vehicle all optional. Teenage angst and hormones not optional. All teenage characters from any time, setting, or canon welcome, as are adult characters aged down.

  • Just Feeling It Out: Maybe you'll finally get to touch a boob!
  • Accidental Boner: Oh. Hi there, downstairs.
  • Deep Kissing: Heavy tongue action.
  • Flawless Approach: WILL YOU PLEASE HAVE THE SEX WITH ME? always works.
  • Party: A crazy atmosphere can lead to crazy decisions.
  • Goofballs: Both of you kind of suck at this, but at least you're cute.
  • Experience Difference: It doesn't count if it's not with you. That's what you tell yourself, anyway.
  • Boyfrands/Girlfrands: Finally rounding those bases with your honey.
